Bug: branches conditional on page 0 buttons don't copy correctly

I believe this is an HTML DB bug:
If you copy a page containing a branch that is conditional on a button on page 0, the branch is converted to an unconditional branch when copied.
Can you confirm if this is a bug, and if so, if it can be fixed in a patch or future release?

The Page Up/Page Down buttons don't work in Safari 6 Reader

I've been trying to read articles in Safari 6 using the reader. The page up/page down buttons and the Spacebar shift-spacebar buttons don't work the way they should. Instead of bringing you to the next page of text they bring you to the top or bottoms of the article. You have to manually scroll through the article to read it, which is a pain. This should be fixed. I already submitted feedback on this. Anyone else have any ideas?

Files don't copy correctly from one computer to another

When I try to copy a file from my MacBook Pro to my I Mac, using Finder, it always asks for a password (my other computers don't do that) and it only copies an empty file

Actually, all files. Pictures, data files of all types, .pdf files, all of them.
I just set up a new I Mac, migrated all my files, apps and data to it from my MacBook Pro Retina, and use both computers for accounting work, so I need to copy files back and forth. I have a folder on both called Files and I keep all my data files in that folder and copy it back and forth. I can copy from the IMac to the MacBook Pro, no request for a password, etc, but when I try to copy anything from the MacBook Pro to the I Mac, it requests a password and it only copies a shell of a file with -0- bytes of content, in other words, name only. Sure would appreciate any suggestions or help.

Dreamweaver CS6: Page navigation keys don't work in Files window (Mac)

Hi all,
The home, end, page up and page down buttons don't work in the Files window of Dreamweaver CS6 on Mac OS X 10.7.3.
They did work in any previous version of Dreamweaver.
I wonder if anyone else experiences the same issue?
It was very handy - and is expectd behavior - and hope Adobe can restore this functionality.

Button condition on page item and Validation error Conflict

Hi,
I have a select list page item and a button on page whose condition is based on the select list page item value(eg, If (:P2_item1='val1'){return true;}) with condition type=PL/SQL function returning boolean. This buttons submits the page.
It' coming fine in normal case. However, if I select some value val2 from the list and then click the button, and if there are any validation errors (like mandatory check or email check fail etc), then the button disappears because it evaluates the button condition based on the changed value(val2), but the page has not yet been submitted because of validation errors.
I think this can be solved if I create the button condition based upon database column value instead of page item as db col value won't change until the page is submitted.
This look like very basic use-case and I would like to know if there is any better solution to this problem.
Note: I am using Apex 4.2.1

I don't want to show/hide the button on the change of the page item lov value, so i am not using Dynamic action.
What i was is to make button visible based on a condition(which is based on page item), for which we have condition attribute of a button available.
This is a very common thing where a user chooses the button condition as Value of item/column in expression 1 is null/expr2. But what if the user changes the page item value but it doesn't get submit due to validation error. In that case, the button condition fails.
So, i guess i have to use column name in expression 1, can u tell how to do that?
Expression 1 = IF (:P2_STATUS='val1') then return true;
How to change the above to use db column 'status' instead? Any direct way(like #Status#) or I have to query db to get it using select.
Any alternative approach?

Button on page 0 - how to branch to new page

I have a button (named 'P0_RUN_TASK') created on page 0 that I need to use to branch to other pages. The page to branch will depend on the values of other items on page 0. How do I do this? Application Process?

Still some issues. I put thie text below in the process text. There is nothing in condition type that has a 'when button pressed' , so I just made it always to test.
2 issues
#1 not sure where you make it fire when a button is pressed from page 0.
#2 It always bringing up the log-in page before directing me to the page I want to go to .

Bug report - Branch condition (SQL exists query)

The branch condition is a "Exists SQL query" with select from dual where 1=2 i.e. it is a invalid SQL query, as the screenshot shows.
But the APEX accept processing engine just ignores the syntax error and proceeds to evaluate the next branch.

When you if enter a header condition type for e.g HB00 & enter the amount & click on activate, then it will activate the condition type in the pricing document.

Aroows up and down, Page Up & Page Down buttons either don't work or makes the page jump to the end

For some reason, the arrow keys (up & down) do not make the websites go up and down. Also, the page up and page down buttons either do nothing or make the sites jump to the bottom.

In Firefox 3.6 and later versions you can disable the F7 shortcut that toggles caret browsing by setting the pref accessibility.browsewithcaret_shortcut.enabled to false.
To open the ''about:config'' page, type '''about:config''' in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

Branch to different page based on the selection of select list

Hi All,
I have to create an application in which i have a form containing a field with static lov's ...
now i want that whenever i click on a save button it branches to some page based on the selected value of lov of that field...
like if i select marketing from lov and press save button then it will branch me to marketing page...
so how can i achieve that in my apex application
please help if anyone knows the answer

in the page branch, change the page to *&PX_LOV_NAME.*
change X to page number and the LOV_NAME to the name of your select list
Don't forget to add the . on the end

Conditional text - excluding navigational buttons

i'm running robohelp 8.0.208.
i've created a webhelp system that displays hyperlinked buttons on each topic page for previous, next and TOC.
however, i'd like for these to display only in the context-sensitive help (when a single topic is selected and viewed).
is there a way to tag these buttons so that they don't show on each topic when the user views the entire system?
any help you can give would be much appreciated!

I'm really confused at this point. You seem to be under the impression that you must manually create things that RoboHelp is able to create for you. Then you are complaining that you thought RoboHelp was more powerful than that. So I'm missing something.
Certainly you are free to create any buttons you like in your topics. The issue seems to be that when the topic is opened on its own via a context sensitive call, you don't wish to see the buttons. Am I correct?
RoboHelp allows you to create a Browse Sequence. That sequence may mirror the TOC structure if you like and it's super simple to accomplish. When you generate WebHelp, you then choose whether to include Browse Sequences or not. If you have included the sequences, the buttons are added to the topics.
The trick is making them disappear when a context sensitive call is made. So my thought was that if you decided to generate WebHelp using a skin, the buttons no longer appear in the topics themselves. Instead, they appear in the navigation mini-toolbar that you only see when the full WebHelp frameset is loaded up. This would make them only available when the user sees the full WebHelp and they would not be present in a Context Sensitive call.
In a skinned setup you have an option of including a "Navigation pane link in topics". If this is enabled and the topic is viewed standalone (as it normally is in a Context Sensitive call) then your user sees a link they may click that opens the surrounding frameset with the topic inside. And the link then disappears when that happens.

Problem with Branch Conditions (Request = Expression 1)

I've looked around on the internet and couldn't find anything to differ from what I thought I was doing correctly.
The issue I am having is that I have 4 push buttons (2 on top and 2 on bottom) that when pressed, should redirect to the same page. For the branch condition, I set the type as Request = Expression 1 and placed the values that the buttons submit as in the expression 1 field.
For the push button pressed, I do not have a button selected.
In testing whenever I press a button, the following error is given:
ERR-1777: Page 4 provided no page to branch to. Please report this error to your application administrator.
Any ideas?

Check the names you have used in Expression 1.
I have just created two buttons on a page called P4_BUTTON1 and P4_BUTTON2.
My Expression 1 setting shows:
P4_BUTTON1,P4_BUTTON2and the branch works ok

How to branch 2 different pages on submit based on the item value.

I am trying to branch from one page to 2 diiferent pages based on values on item value which I set in page 1 on submit.
Create page processing (after submit) in page 35 wrote following plsql :

Rendering differences when "go to last page" navigation button is clicked

Hi All,
Critical issue here, apparently a new rendering bug in the crystal report viewer:
In a framework 3.5 sp1 application (vb.net) using the Crystal Report Viewer, ***. version 12.0.2000.0 , file version 12.3.2002.753 (i.e. 2008 with sp3 installed and fp3.2 installed over that), I have a report that will render differently depending on whether or not the user clicks the "go to last page" button, or whether they just print/export/use single page advance navigation.
The difference in rendering is that "report footer a" (there are "g" of these) is not displayed. This footer contains essential summary information for the grouped data above.
Related, but subtly different, is that the last group header/detail/group footer is not displayed if the details section is empty, again, IFF the go to last page button is clicked. It renders correctly if go to last page is not used.
The unique thing about the reporting implemenation in this app is that the fields/headers are dynamically positioned at runtime (based on user settings). Similarly, the fonts, heights and visibility (i.e. SectionFormat.EnableSuppress) of group sections are also dynamically set at run time. The ReportDocument object manipulation is done entirely in memory and is not (at least by me) persisted to disk before rendering in the viewer.
Is there a work around, programmatic or otherwise, other than removing the navigation buttons? What assumptions is the rendering engine making about section size as it (apparently) short circuits sequential rendering when the go to last page button is clicked?
Any clues would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the response.
It's a winforms app.
The data access is through typed datasets that are filled on the client using linq to objects (i.e. not a connection to a remote db). There is one main ds (which has the report's detail data). There are also 5 unrelated subreport ds's that are used to fill standard header/footer information.
I can export the report to an rpt file through the app, but the data is never included. Haven't found a way to get data to save with rpt file. ReportOption save data with report is checked for the report, but the actual data never gets saved into the rpt file.
Formatting of report, post programattic manipulation, is as I expect and appears identical irrespective of clicking the "go to last page" nav button.
I would hazard a guess that it's not a caching issue since the rendering bug occurs only if the go to last page (GTLP from now on) button is clicked BEFORE the report has been navigated through sequentially or exported. Once exported or single-page advanced through, the report renders correctly (i.e., the GTLP appears to be reading from the cache, and not running it's own rendering scheme).
Is there a way to dump the cache manually? At the very least I could dump the cache before printing/exporting to ensure that the export function creates a fresh (and bug free) rendering. It is the output to paper/pdf etc that is most critical. If there's a bit of stupidity on screen, I can convince my clients to laugh this off as a bit of silly screen junk, but the externalization of the data (pdf or print) must be reliable.
