BUG: EA 2.1 code editor: completion insight doesn't work in opened files

I just migrated from SQLDEV 1.5.5 to EA 2.1. It's nice that I colud find so many of my suggestions implemented in this new version. THANKX :-)

When I'm working in SQL Worksheet the "completion insight" feature is working well, but when I try to use it in an opened file, it doesn't work.
Is there a special preference to turn on for use with files?

Correct it did work in 1.5. on .sql files, when connected, so I have updated the ER to bug. We also need to expand this to support PL/SQL files.

It is a high order probability that your SQL's report generator is creating the PDF, not Acrobat (which by design and EULA cannot be used in as/with server).
That the report generator outputs to an old-old version of PDF bears this out.
Wiki articles on PDF are very nice for those high level intro summaries.
To know / understand PDF you purchase and study the ISO Standard for PDF (ISO 32000-1:2008).
Rather than "PDF validation" you may want to consider addressing the appearent root cause of the problem(s).
You can change the email2fax application to one that can deal with older PDF versions.
You can change the report generator to one that can output to the ISO Standard.
(Perhaps the in-use application can be configured to output to the current version of PDF (i.e., the ISO Standard).

Code Templates/Completion Insight SQL Developer 3.2.2

Hello, today I got the version 3.2.2. During the first start all setting from my previous version were imported and all work perfect, except the completion insight.
If I write
ssf +[CTRL + Space]
the result in the previous version is
select * from
In the new version, for the same input is:
ssfselect * from
For other code template it is the same, the id for the code template will not be delete while setting the code template.
Is this a bug or is there somethin wrong with my enviroment?

It's a bug that's been fixed for version 4.0.

Bug: syntax error in code editor breaks layout and redrawing windows incorrect

I'm working with "SQL Developer" version:
Oracle IDE    4.0.0.13.80
Plataforma Java(TM)    1.7.0_45
installed on windows 7 64 bits.
when I execute some ddl command in the code editor with syntax error, all layout windows are incorrectly drawn, and I have to close "SQL Developer" application to go on.
Example:
   COMMENT ON COLUMN "TABLE"."COLUMN1" IS 'comments on column 1';
   COMMENT ON COLUMN "TABLE"."COLUMN2" AS 'comments on column 2';
First comment is correctly aplied but second comment has a syntax error (AS is wrong) but you no receive error output, layout it hangs.
I tested with thick/OCI and using jdbc, and I always go to the same problem.

Completion Insight Won't Work After Changing Worksheet's Connection.

I've noticed that with 3.1.07.42 completion insight seems unreliable and managed to track it down to being caused by switching a worksheet's connection. The completion insight functionality seems to remain stuck in the first connection.
Steps to recreate:
1. Open a worksheet to connection1.
2. Paste in two incomplete queries. One for a table only present in connection1, and another with the same for connection2.
3. Verify that completion insight works for the query for connection1.
4. Switch worksheet's connection to connection2
5. Try to bring up the completion insight for the connection2 query. Fails for me.
6. Try to bring up the completion insight for the connection1 query. Still works.

I don't know how to verify this but maybe there was a bad batch of ink out there. My ink was low, changed the cartidge, still not joy. I did the clean heads so many times i ran out of another color. I changed the print head assembly and still no joy. I gave up at this point, but does anyone know if HP has any advisaries about bad ink (up till now I have always used HP Ink). Or maybe they wouldn't want to admit it because of all of the repairs they would be resposible for.

Rif t.code S_ALR_87012177. This report requires, for working, the flag in th filed "Payment history record" in the tab "payment transactions" of customers master data.
I've adjourned the master data of the customers putting in the field "Payment history record". But the report doesn't work for histories. Is there a program which make the report working for histories too?

Why second code doesn't work?

So the problem in your code snippet 2 is that you didn't put it into a class module and initialize the class module. If you just put it into ThisDocument, you have to initialize the word application object.

either you need to install the Ukrainian language completely (including supplementation) or if you plan to use the translation workbench for mass translation, you need to translate the texts included in the application you use.
Please note: If you plan to use Translation Workbench (SE63) for mass translation, supplementation in that system should be avoided (see e.g. SAP Note 353852) !

Completed Project Doesn't work When Deployed FilePermission Error

I have been slaving away over an applet for the past several weeks, and I have finally gotten it finished. When I tried to upload it to MY web server, it suddenly stopped working. The applet itself reads files from the directory in which it is run, and apparently even when these files are given a 777 permission, the applet still can't read them. I'm baffled as to what's going on.
For the HTML code, I am using

Valid license code for activation that doesn't work HELP!

I had to reinstall CS3 back on to my computer after having to do a factory reset on the computer. I downloaded CS3 from Adobe.com since my CDs are in another state. After installation I go to enter my code for the programs and CS3 won't accept my VALID license code to activate the account. It worked perfectly fine before I had to reset my computer and it is currently installed on one other computer but I need it on this one! Please help! I talked with Adobe already and they said that since the product is outdated I needed to visit the forums to find an answer as to why my activation code won't work or if anyone can help with suggestions. An odd thing about the Copy To feature is that you can use it to add any article to any folio. For example, you can add an iPhone article to an iPad folio, but you'll end up having to remove that article if you want to preview it or publish it. In your case, it looks like you added a 1024x768 article to a 2048x1536 folio.
Using the "Add" feature isn't an effective method for building apps. I recommend setting up your files for import. See this article:

Any possible way to fix error code 28? Restore doesn't work and my ipod won't turn on.

One day my ipod just wouldn't turn on and from then on it has been a total black out. I have plugged it into iTunes and it has notified me that the ipod is in recovery mode. I tried to restore the iPod but right at the end it brings up the error code of 28.
