Bug in Studio 10.3 - Automatic Handler disappears in horizontal layout

In process model, clicking on "Layout" button causes "Automatic Handler" swimlane to disappear.
I've observed this only when using horizontal layout.
1. Create process
2. add automatic activity to automaic handler swimlane
3. add new swimlane "clerk"
4. Create global ctearion into swimlane clerk
5. Click "Layout" button
6. Done: all stuff is now in swimlane clerk, which is the only swimlane left.
Looks like a bug to me.

his screenshot shows a "GridBagLayout.java" open in Eclipse, so he probably has created one in his project indeed.

Fix to allow Animate to automatically handle changes in styles during transitions. This same logic already works for properties (e.g., if you specify different values for x in states and run Animate with a SimpleMotionPath with property="x" then it will automatically determine the from/to values to animate for x). But we needed to add an override for getRelevantStyles() for Animate to advertise the possible styles to pick up changes for so that the transitions array would be populated accordingly.

We have confirmed this is present in both Access 2007 and Access 2010.
Recreate:
If a user drags the naviagtion bar right hand side resize vertical handle so the only the "All.." is displayed in the top of the navigation bar title and releases the mouse button, the resize handle disappears.
Resolution:
It seems the only way to resolve the issue is to restart Access.
The same action is not apparent in other MS office applications (eg Outlook).   Is this a known bug ? Is there a workaround or hotfix ?

Another way (F11 and Search Bar workarounds didn't work for me) ... save in Access 2002/2003 (mdb) format, close. Open in Access 2002/2003 (mdb), I could "find" the grab bar and expand the navigation bar. Save in Access 2007/2013

The video I am watching this guy is just dragging every line to make curves. And every anchor point is a corner. He is not switching back and forth between the pen and the anchor points tool, and he is not using the convert points tool. He draws a curved line and starts another straight line only to curve it with a click and a drag. It is super efficient, and I could save a world of time if I could figure out what he is doing.

Automatic handling of BW hierarchies within infopackages

Within BW there are infosources and
within infosources there are infopackages. You can create time
versioned hierarchies within a infopackage. We create the hierarchies
for each month. When you do this, in order to load the data into the
correct hierarchy, there is radio button that you have to select. I
would like to know if there is a automatic way, weather with ABAP
calling BAPI's or some other program(s) to first create the hierarchy
for the month and then select the radio button so that the data is
loaded to the correct hierarchy.

No automatic handling of BW heirarchies , i guess.
Just go thru it , it may helpful to you.
Activities for generating a DataSource for a set hierarchy:
1. Enter the table that the set uses (for example, an FI-SL totals table GLFUNCT) and then select the table field (for example, RBUSA Business Area) for the set.
2. If the characteristic is compounded in the BW, which the hierarchy is based on, and if you want to transfer its compounding information on the source system to BW, select BW Characteristic is compounded. Enter the data element to which the hierarchy is compounded. When the hierarchy is loaded, the compounding information is taken into account in BW. If you want to extract the FI-SL set of a characteristic compounded in BW, you have to run the compounding process in a customer exit. In transaction CMOD, create a project for SAP enhancement RSAP0001 and program EXIT_SAPLRSAP_004 (ZXRSAU04).
3. Run the program to generate the DataSource for the set hierarchy.
4. The new DataSource is called 4R_GSBER_0000_HIER. GSBER is the data element of the field GLFUNCT-RBUSA and 0000 specifies the set class.

Why has File-Automate-photomerge disappeared from my MacBook Pro in CS4 but is still on my iMac?

Many thanks for your reply, I found Photomerge.jsx on the iMac, although I couldn't find a Presets/Scripts folder in the Application folder but a search found 4 copies of Photomerge.jsx.
I made a CD of them and inserted it into the MacBook Pro. I dropped a copy into my Applications folder but when I opened Photoshop CS4 and tried to use it - it wasn't available. I then dropped it into Photoshop and it works but when I close everything down and re-open Photoshop it is not there.
Had to leave the Photomerge.jsx file/folder on the desktop and re drop into photoshop to open to use???
Please help me further.

Handles disappear

Sometimes, when working on an Illustrator document the handles of (all) objects disappear. Neither clicking with the select- nor the direct selection tool will show handles. Rebooting doesn't solve the problem. It seems to be some kind of setting that I'm accidentally activating, but I can't find my way back. Or is it a bug? I'm working with CS3, Win XP. Any suggestions?

Bug report: Safari 5 fails to handle 8192 bit RSA certificates

Running Safari 5.1.7 on OS X 10.6.8 -- I haven't confirmed for the version of Safari running on 10.7 -- and trying to access a site over https that uses an 8192 bits large RSA cert causes Safari to bug out. It can't display the certificate details correctly, giving just a garbled text output, and even a buggy interface dialog, and manually trying to accept the certificate to get the website to load causes Safari to run in an endless loop, displaying the certificate warning anew, over and over, making it impossible to load the page. The exact same certificate details put in a 4096 bit cert works just fine.
Could anyone in the core dev team take a look at this? The number of sites making use of 8192 bit large certs is growing, and Safari is the only browser out there that can't handle it.
add.: it seems the problem sits at a more fundamental level than in Safari, possibly in some underlying framework - apparently several other applications in OS X fails with handling an RSA cert of 8192 bits size, as mentioned in this thread: https://discussions.apple.com/message/11728527

Bug in OS X OpenGL texture handling, that can crash OS X ?

i think, i found a serious bug in Leopard (10.5.2 and 10.5.3). But i can't find any infos on that. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
When i try to create large textures in OpenGL, i get a texture with noise in it. A closer look shows, that this noise are pieces of other application windows and/or the desktop. This texture also changes when i change other windows.

As you can see, the lowe part of the noise is changeing. I get no OpenGL error in this app! So i can't check in my prog if the texture is too large for Mac OS X.
More importantly: I need offscreen render passes and if you try to render to that texture, OS X will instantly crash or give you strange graphic noise in fullscreen (and then crash). With offscreen passes that can happen even with 2048*2048 textures. A crash is more likely when using a depth buffer in the offscreen pass.
I tested this on an (Intel) iMac and on an (Intel) Mac Pro.

I don't know if this will help your particular situation or not, but here's my tale of misery condensed down to a few (?) pithy phrases. My Mac Pro 3 GHz. Xeon Quad was behaving so badly that I was almost ready to consign the whole set-up to the trash heap. I was having 40-50 hard crashes a day & couldn't get anything done. On the rare occasion when I successfully burned a DVD on the sixth or seventh attempt, it was effed-up. I couldn't even launch iDVD. I did a few Google searches and found all kinds of allegations of incompatibility between Open GL and 10.5.3, of ATI Radeon X1900XT (which I have) and NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT video cards being no good, etc. Finally I ran across a reference to smcFanControl and Temperature Monitor, both of which are free. What did I have to lose? My system was useless in its current state. I had already done a clean install, and run every "fix" known to man with NO positive results. The system crashed on startup after a clean install, and still wouldn't stay up and running for more than 10 minutes.
I installed these two apps, cranked up the fan speeds, and watched my heat sink temperatures plummet 60 degrees F. All of the artifacts and pixel lines on my 23 and 30-inch ACD's disappeared and are apparently gone for good. The system hasn't had a hiccup or a glitch in performance in the past 3 days doing video and photo rendering at full-speed. I used Spaces to set up all of the windows and graphs for Temperature Monitor on the Cinema Displays in Space 1, and run my other apps in other Spaces. If you like techie stuff, it's great fun and very impressive to look at... and it WORKS!!! At the very least, it'll keep you from going nuts and smashing all your Mac gear with a sledge hammer.
Bottom line: the video card was overheating, and the system was shutting itself down or going to sleep to prevent over-temperature damage. I learned yesterday that this feature is built-in so that you can't damage your 'puter by cooking it to death.
Leopard isn't smart enough to crank up the fan speeds to prevent trouble. *Temperature Monitor and smcFanControl cured ALL of my Mac's woes*. I'm very happy. ;=]
Everything is working like a dream... but I haven't worked up the nerve to re-up to 10.5.3 again. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. :-p

Motion path handles disappeared

I've been working in After Effects for a little while now and am having some of my motion path handles not appear when they should. I'm working on a slideshow and they seem to appear for all of my other pictures. What I do is go in between the start and end point of a path and move my picture away from the main (straight) motion path I created which usually creates a new keyframe on my timeline and inserts a point on my motion path with two handles I can adjust to make the path curved. This time it just creates the point on the motion path and keyframe, but doesn't allow me to make the path curved. It's really strange and has happened to me before. The way I solved it earlier was to remove the point where it wasn't working and insert a new one, and it would magically turn on, but that doesn't seem to work now.
I've only been able to find one other person that had a similar problem online, which was solved by going to view---->view options and enabling 'view handles'. This didn't solve my problem so I figured I would ask on here. Thanks in advance for the help.

That worked, although it's a few extra steps that I shouldn't have to take (and haven't prior to this). I held down alt by mistake at first and it only gave me one handle, but if I just tap alt and then click--->drag away from the point, it does provide me with a handle in each direction, which is what I was ultimately needing. Here is a screenshot of that layer although it's pretty standard.
When I selected a keyframe that was in between the beginning and end of the motion path, pressed G, and then hit alt it does exactly what I want it to, but usually it adds the handles automatically, and want it to always. This extra step is very annoying because I'm dealing with a lot of motion paths and plan to in the future as well.

Yosemite 10.10.3 Bug in Image Capture - no automatic delete

After updating Yosemite to 10.10.3, the "Delete After Import" feature in Image Capture no longer works. The images import properly, but they do not automatically delete (even though the box is checked). You are then able to manually delete the images, but one image is always permanently un-deletable (I was able to replicate this bug by importing images from my iPhone, iPad and Canon Digital Camera).

Don't think it's a bug, just tried with my iPhone 4s and image capture imported pictures followed by deleting same from phone - same with manual delete, all removed if all selected. Think the clue to your issue might be the fact you can not manually delete a particular picture, is it protected or could it be corrupt?
Try deleting the troublesome picture via the iDevice and then see what happens when you attempt importing others, if you have the same issue but on another picture you might try restoring the iDevice (but that will not resolve the problem if it also happens with the camera!).
I might just be lucky, wait and see if others report similar problem after 10.10.3 upgrade.

Bug in SQL Developer relating to handling of XMLTYPE columns

I have found a bug in SQL Developer relating to its handling of XMLTYPE columns.
Given a table with the following data:
ID, XML_DATA
1, <xml here>
2, <xml here>
3, <xml here>
And the following SQL to extract a value from the XML and also an XML fragment as an XMLTYPE:
SELECT
EXTRACTVALUE(t.column_value,'/*/USER_ID/text()')user_id
, t.column_value user_data
FROM dbuser.mytable m
, TABLE(XMLSEQUENCE(EXTRACT(m.xml_data, '/*/USER_LIST/USER'))) t
I get the following:
user_id, user_data
jsmith26, (XMLTYPE)
mjones45, (XMLTYPE)
sborga31, (XMLTYPE)
Note that the user_id is correctly extracted, however the XMLTYPE column (user_data) is empty in SQL Developer.
The same query returns the correct XML data in TOAD.

That example works fine on an 11.2.0.1 database with SQL Developer 3.2.20.09.87. Please try the following with your case:
Tools -> Preferences -> Database -> Advanced -> Display Struct Value In Grid (check it off if not already)If that still does not work for Run Statement (query result displayed in the grid, not as script output using Run Script), then please provide a test case based on the Warehouse table in the OE schema (or your case with DDL and DML scripts including the xml data) and I will log a bug.

GoDaddy IMAP automatically deleting/disappearing emails from Inbox, solved!

We're running a unibody Macbook 13" with Mac OS X 10.5.8, all patches, and Apple Mail 3.6.
When we moved from Earthlink POP to GoDaddy IMAP, we almost immediately started losing emails from the Inbox. They would literally disappear before our eyes.
We checked online, found others with the same problem, and no actual fixes (some workarounds, such as switching to GoDaddy Exchange email).
I called GoDaddy for help today. Aside from the usual run-down: Are you sure it isn't configured as POP? Did you check that any other devices aren't getting the emails as POP?, we finally got a new solution I hadn't heard before:
Turn off Auto Purging.
If you log into GoDaddy Webmail, right-click on the Inbox, and click Auto-Purging, a little setting pane comes up.
If Auto Purging is already turned off, turn it off again anyway, and make sure the little pop-up confirming the setting has been saved comes up in the bottom right corner.
This seems to have fixed the problem. We've gone for about an hour now without the emails disappearing.
What's more, I got lucky and found that the emails had been thrown into the Trash by the Auto Purge feature, so I could retrieve them (some of them disappeared before Time Machine could back them up).
One important possibility: I discovered that I had mapped the Trash folder to Deleted Messages and not to GoDaddy's Trash folder. So I set this to point to GoDaddy's Trash thinking that this might help. It MIGHT have been what fixed the problem, but it's not likely.
A few other notes to help you guys:
1) We weren't losing emails from any IMAP folder except the Inbox.
2) I tried setting the IMAP folder path to / but that broke the subfolders.
3) After turning off the Auto-Purge and dragging the deleted emails back into the Inbox from the Trash (using Apple Mail to do so), there were duplicates of these emails in the GoDaddy Webmail Inbox that did not show in the Apple Mail Inbox.
4) Using other mail clients like Thunderbird didn't help. The iPad and iPhone would eventually lose the emails too as everything sync'd up with the server.

I've had the same problem... As with MOST of the e-mail problems with the PRE the best solution is to delete the account and reload it... I've had to delete and add my account twice!!!
PALM better fix the e-mail functions or a lot of people (my self included) will get real fed up deleting and adding the account every two weeks...

How to automate handling of dimension members? (master data loads)

Hi,
We want our users to be able to upload master data (i.e. dimension member data) from a flat file. It is only possible to upload transactional data from a flat file via the Data Manager...
Any suggestions?

Hi Peter,
1. use BULK INSERT to load the flat file into SQL SERVER and automate using the SQL job or Windows schedule job. Then call the AdminTask_MakeDim package in DM. This is also be scheduled in BPC DM.
You can also use SSIS packages to load flat file data into the SQL SERVER table.
2. SSIS packages are not complex, you should know to use it. Basically have learnt using these SSIS packages after started working in BPC Datamanager. You can find various online tutorials on SSIS packages.
Flow of data should be:
Flat file - staging table in BPC database - copy from staging tbale to mbr<dimension> table - Admintask to process Dimension.
The structure of staging table should be identical with mbr<dimension> table or mbr<dimension> table should be a subset of Staging table.
To schedule the BPC - DM packages:
Open the eDATA menu - 'Run Package' window. You have a option of 'New automation', use that to create schedules on SSIS packages (can be used for both BPC standard packages and customized packages).

You can try by VBA into EXCEL, prepare the dimension member sheet and process. Basically it depends on our knowledge / ease on technology .
I never had a chance to try on this. By visualising, this is possible but ensure on the data type loading into the EXCEL.
example, CompCode is 0310, while loading into EXCEL load as 310... omit the 0 in the front.
Try and share with us how it works.
