Bug report: code editor shows false PHP error

I'm using Dreamweaver CC on an iMac.  The problem is that the PHP line error indicates an error in the code when there is no error.  This happens regularly when adding new values to an arrays that's formatted across multiple lines.  Please see the attached screenshot.

When uploading an image on this forum, it seems to dramatically reduce the quality of the upload.  Here is a zoomed in image.

  • BUG: JDeveloper code editor shows valid static import call as error

    I've noticed what appears to be a bug in the JDeveloper code validator when dealing with static imports.
    The following classes demonstrate the problem:
    package test;
    public class Parent {
      public static void parentMethod() {
        System.out.println("called parentMethod.");
    package test;
    public class Child extends Parent {
      public static void childMethod() {
        System.out.println("called childMethod.");
    package test;
    import static test.Child.*;
    public class StaticInheritanceTest {
      public static void main(String[] args) {
        Child.childMethod();
        Child.parentMethod();
        childMethod();
        parentMethod();  //<-- this line is highlighted as an error
    }Notice how on lines 7 and 8 of StaticInheritanceTest, the code validator does recognise that both parentMethod and childMethod are static methods of the Child class.
    Since 'Child' has been statically imported, then parentMethod should be available. Although parentMethod is presented as an 'auto-suggest' at line 11 in StaticInheritanceTest, when you try to call it the code editor shows the call as an error and the Ctrl-Click (to drill down into the method) doesn't work.
    When I run the class, it compiles successfully and runs with the following output:
    called childMethod.
    called parentMethod.
    called childMethod.
    called parentMethod.This might seem like an obscure and theoretical problem, but I've hit this whilst using Mockito, which uses exactly this kind of inherited static method to provide matchers.

    Hi,
    thanks. Will file a bug. This seems to be a designtime only issue that does not present a show stopper.

  • Since I can not log in bug report page, not even getting an error message, I'll write all my issues with ios8 here...

    Since I can not log in bug report page, not even getting an error message, I'll write all my issues with ios8 here... I have an iphone 4S and I did the last update. Now I am in trouble.
    1. When I move the "sound on/off" button, I get it buzzing 10 times before the setting is changed and I can do anything else, just not reacting to the round button on screen touches.
    2. Impossible to copy text from most websites into notes.
    3. Impossible to delete an email account in settings.
    4. Uses up the battery twice as fast as before. I have "update apps" setting turned off, just reading a couple of mails, making a couple of photos and open maps apps twice a day, and the battery is dead well before the evening.
    5. Got extremely slow, and it was getting slower and slower with every system update.
    I'm sure I forgot something... But well, that already a lot.

    Well, actually number 3 in my list is not true any more, I just tried to delete my account 15 times, then I've written my post, then half an hour later my Settings finally updated my accounts list. Whohoo
    I did not try restoring it yet, thank you for the link!

  • Bug report syncing TV shows to iPad

    I have just updated to iTunes 11 on my Mac running Lion 10.7.5  and am trying to mannually sync TV Shows using the cable to my iPad3 running IOS 6
    I connected the iPad and get the new button showing the device.
    clicked on the button and enter the sync menue
    on every tab if you scroll in the pane the scroll tab appears on the right and you can scroll through the rest of the list that is not visible.
    in the TV Show tab when i click in the pane to manually select the shows i want to sync and try to scroll the scroll slider never appears and i cannot see the rest of the availible shows.
    if i click with the down arrow i can select them though without seeing them so i know they are there.
    is this just me or is this a bug?  if it is a bug how do i report it?
    I seem to be in the minority here but i like the new look, it just takes a bit of getting used to.
    Thanks in advance.

    This looks like a bug in the new version of iTunes. I have this problem too. Seems to just be poor QA on Apple's part. I'm surprised they missed this as its a pretty obvious problem. Anyways, not much we can do other than wait for Apple to release a new fix for iTune :-/.

  • Bug Report: ResultSet.isLast() returns false when queries return zero rows

    When calling the method isLast() on a resultset that contains zero (0) rows, false is returned. If a resultset contains no rows, isLast() should return true because returning false would indicate that there are more rows to be retrieved.

    This happens to me on Oracle 9.2.0.1.0.

    387561,
    For your information, I discovered this problem from
    running a query that did access an actual DB table.
    Try it and let me know.I did say I was only guessing, and yes, I did try it (after I posted my reply, and before I read yours). And I did check the query plan for the queries I tried -- to verify that they were actually doing some database "gets".
    In any case, the usual way that I determine whether a "ResultSet" is empty is when the very first invocation of method "next()" returns 'false'. Is that not sufficient for you?
    Good Luck,
    Avi.

  • Hi, im in aple bloop, im trying to recover but it has block code and show me the error 3194. Help please

    Hi, my iphone 4 has an apple bloop, i'd try to recover but the iphone has block code and there is no way to put my code.
    Please helpme to force recover.

    I suspect this phone was "hacked" to unlock it so it could be used where you live. That's why you're getting the 1015 error. iTunes has detected a mismatch between your baseband and iOS, thus preventing your phone from being restored and generating that error code. Use Google for instructions on how to fix error 1015, as support for hacked iPhones cannot be provided here, per this forum's terms of use.

    It happens when a spam post is removed, as in the Catering thread, http://forums.adobe.com/thread/285152?tstart=0, in the Print Design forum, http://forums.adobe.com/community/design_development/printdesign?view=discussions&start=0, where it topped the list for a while with a 1 year old post by Neil after my reporting.

  • Bug report: import button shows incorrect state for Photo CDs

    When inserting a Kodak Photo CD, a graphic of a CD instead of the array of photos appears (that's fine).
    The button in the lower right portion of the window says "Stop Import". When pressed with the mouse, import begins. If pressed during the import, importation stops. While the behavior is correct, the button should say "Begin Import" and then change to "Stop Import".

  • Bug: syntax error in code editor breaks layout and redrawing windows incorrect

    I'm working with "SQL Developer" version:
    Oracle IDE    4.0.0.13.80
    Plataforma Java(TM)    1.7.0_45
    installed on windows 7  64 bits.
    when I execute some ddl command in the code editor with syntax error, all layout windows are incorrectly drawn, and I have to close "SQL Developer" application to go on.
    Example:
       COMMENT ON COLUMN "TABLE"."COLUMN1" IS 'comments on column 1';
       COMMENT ON COLUMN "TABLE"."COLUMN2" AS 'comments on column 2';
    First comment is correctly aplied but second comment has a syntax error (AS is wrong) but you no receive error output, layout it hangs.
    I tested with thick/OCI and using jdbc, and I always go to the same problem.

    Good Morning
    Did you ever get this working without restoring ?
    Kind Regards

  • Re: BUG? APEX 4.0: ORA-20503 error editing report with 400+ columns

    Hello Everyone.
    I've run into something quite strange and am hoping you can help me.
    I am using Apex 4.0.1 and Oracle version 10.2.0.5. I've created a "classical" report in which the underlying SQL is a very simple:
    select * from pvtabThe Oracle table pvtab consists of 419 columns, all of which are varchar2(88) and number type. That's it.
    When I run the report, al of the columns show up as expected.
    However, when I go into the "Report Attributes" tab and click on one of the fields (any of them, it doesn't matter which one), I immediately get the following error:
    ORA-20503: Current version of data in database has changed since user initiated update process. current checksum = "598CAA7B68746A66F4B99E1512C36DED" application checksum = "0"If if replace the "*" with a few actual column names, then I am able to access any of these columns without problem.
    If I put back the "*", I then encounter this error again.
    I have never seen this error with other SQL SELECT statements in which I use the "*" qualifier to retrieve all columns from the table.
    And so, I am wondering if the error is caused because of the large number of columns (419) in my table.
    I've seen this same error mentioned in connection with forms but never with a report.
    So, is there some limit to the number of columns one can have in a "classic" or interactive report?
    Any idea why I would be getting this error?
    Here is the DDL for my table pvtab:
    CREATE TABLE  "PVTAB"

    So, is there some limit to the number of columns one can have in a "classic" or interactive report?Yes. See Oracle® Application Express Application Builder User's Guide Release 4.0, Appendix B: Oracle Application Express Limits.
    Any idea why I would be getting this error?No, but I've replicated it in APEX 4.0.2.00.07 on 11.2.0.1.0 EE using a table of 420 <tt>varchar2(88)</tt> columns:
    >
    ORA-20503: Current version of data in database has changed since user initiated update process. current checksum = "50C9BDC0AA1AEF0EB272E9158B2117B4" application checksum = "0"
    >
    Happens whether using <tt>select *</tt> or including all column names in the query. (I know you don't want to type all the column names, but I'd never use <tt>select *</tt> in a production application: always use a proper column list. You can get one without typing by drag-and-drop of a table in most IDEs, or a query from <tt>user_tab_columns</tt>.)
    I hit the problem at 274 columns. Such an arbitrary number leads me to think that the problem is not one of the number of columns per se, but is due to some other limit (possibly a 32K VARCHAR2/RAW buffer somewhere).
    Workaround:
    Updates to the report column attributes are actually being saved, and you can navigate them using the Page Definition tree view as described in Appendix B.
    Getting More Help:
    This is probably a bug. If you have a support agreement with Oracle raise an SR with Oracle Support.
    Also:
    <li>Search the forum using the "ORA-20503" code and other possible terms to see if there's anything relevant. I had a quick look but the only thread in this context recommended an upgrade on an Oracle 9 DB version that's not compatible with APEX 4.0.
    <li>To get the attention of the Oracle APEX team or anyone else who may know more about this problem than we do, edit your original post and change the Subject to be more specific about the actual nature of the problem: <em>BUG? APEX 4.0: ORA-20503 error editing report with 400+ columns</em>, and include your database version/edition and the definition of the <tt>PVTAB</tt> table.
    Finally:
    Somebody's bound to ask, so we might as well get started:
    <li>Why so many columns?
    <li>What requirement is this trying to fulfil?
