Bug report: Theme 13 ie.css file missing

[Fri Oct 27 14:03:51 2006] [error] [client xx.xx.xx.xx] [ecid: 1161972231:172.18.1.15:21106:0:483,0] File does not exist: /opt/oracle/product/10.1.0/Apache/Apache/images/themes/theme_13/ie.css
This seems to come from the following line in the One Level Tabs page template
<!--[if IE]><link rel="stylesheet" href="/i/themes/theme_13/ie.css" type="text/css" /><![endif]-->Conditional CSS just for IE! Horror of horrors, what's next?!
Can someone please shed some light on why this is needed and if so, post that ie.css file on Metalink or something?
Thanks

Hello,
Just remove the offending link. The link should not be there and is not needed for theme 13.

  • Theme Editor  and CSS files

    Hi all,
    NetWeaver Portal 2004 SP16
    For those of you who have worked with the Theme Editor probably feel the same way as I do: it's just not good enough. It allows you to change some styles but really for real changes one has to edit the million stylesheets manually.
    When going down that road, the Theme Editor becomes useless because it overwrites your manually applied changes.
    As long as you reapply your changes afterwards, this works pretty good but I'm still confused about one thing. The stylesheets that are actually called from the webpage are followed by some sort of counter. For example:
    ../prtl_std/prtl_std_ie6.css?6.0.16.0.31 The last number increases everytime you save a theme in the Theme Editor, so it acts as a version numner (see themeInfo.properties).
    And now the annoying part: this <u>sometimes</u> prevents my manual changes to be read (one can check this by inspecting the css files in browser cache).
    My question: what does this counter do? Are themes also stored in the PCD / database and if so where? What can be done to have the portal ALWAYS push the css files from the irj/portalapps/com.sap.portal.design.portaldesigndata/themes/portal directory?
    Cheers
    Marcel

    The counter works with the database. It is actually possible to edit other (no visible) style sheet classes via the Theme Editor

  • Bug report: Theme 9 current tab

    The One Level Tabs page template for Theme 9 (Underlined tabs) has the following in Standard Tab Attributes/Current Tab
    < td>  < /td> < td> < table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" summary="">
    < tr> < td> < a href="f?p=&APP_ID.:&APP_PAGE_ID.:&SESSION." class="t9tabCurrent"> < div class="t9tabCurrent"> #TAB_LABEL#< /div> < /a> #TAB_INLINE_EDIT#< /td> < /tr>
    < tr> < td> < a href="f?p=&APP_ID.:&APP_PAGE_ID.:&SESSION."> < img width="110" height="8" src="#IMAGE_PREFIX#themes/theme_9/red.gif" alt="" /> < /a> < /td> < /tr> < /table> < /td> This is not right.
    Lets say I have a tab associated with Page 10 and it also current for Page 11. I navigate to Page 11. Now I want to go back to Page 10. I click on the Page 10 tab at the top of the page. But as you can see above, that just redirects back to the same page!
    Is there a workaround?
    Thanks

    Silly me, the workaround is just to do href="#TAB_LINK#" for the current tab template.
    Hopefully this bug will be fixed in the next release so that the workaround will not be necessary.
    Thanks

  • Separate CSS files for Differenct Applications in the Same Workspace

    I am working in APEX 4.0, using Theme 4 (Topaz), primarily with the region template "Top Bar." The application I am working on has gotten so large that I decided to break it into two applications. So I copied the original application and then deleted the pages that I did not want in the second application. I then modified the authentication for a single login. One of the nice things about the Top Bar template is that you can color the background. I had a blue background in the first application and wanted to use a differenct color in the other. So I created a second CSS file and uploaded it to the Cascading Style Sheets area of the Shared Components file for the second application. Turns out that both it and the style sheet for the first application now show up in the CSS file area. The CSS file for the second application has no effect. Here is the CSS code:
    .rc-content-main
          background-color: #E5E5AA;
         }I also tried giving the region on each page in the second application a static id and then identifying them in the CSS file by the id. That didn't work either, at least not yet. Sometimes it takes the server a while to refresh.
    Question: For two applications in the same workspace, can there be separate CSS files? If so, how do I set them up so that each responds only to one of the applications?

    Hello,
    If you upload your file to Shared Components >> Cascading Style Sheetst then:
    edit your page template in the header section and just before +*</head>*+ tag  add :
    <link rel="stylesheet" src="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#MY_FILE.css" type="text/css" />And that will be applied for all pages that have the same Page Template.
    You can edit a page and put this in the header section to be applied only for a that page:
    <style>
    <link rel="stylesheet" src="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#MY_FILE.css" type="text/css" />
    <style>If the file is on your web server then replace #WORKSPACE_IMAGES# with #IMAGE_PREFIX#
    This should be helpful to you:

  • How to edit the core.css file

    Hello,
    All the fonts in my Apex app are too small, and I mean all the fonts, for the interface too. So, I did a bit of research and found it is probably the core.css file that has been adjusted, trouble is I do not know how to change it. Even installed Microsoft Office Sharepoint to do the editing but I cannot locat the file, or rather I can but I cannot seem to be able to edit the file. I think the file can be found here http://127.0.0.1:8080/i/css/core.css but when I try to access this site from sharepoint it prompts me for username and password for the 127.0.0.1 address and does not accept what ever I enter. Any advice welcome.

    Hi,
    I do not recommend you change Apex css files.
    Create your own theme and change css file on that.
    Or add your application page template header style that overwrite font size like
    <style>*{font-size:40px!important}</style>When you try login to xdb where is all images,css and js files use SYSTEM user.
    http://daust.blogspot.com/2006/03/where-are-images-of-application.html
    And Apex related question you should post to Application Express Forum
    Oracle Application Express (APEX)

  • Starter Templates Not Creating CSS Files

    I'm using the About Page starter template.  It asks me to save the About Page.css file, which I do, and then it asks me to name the new page, which I do, then it asks me to copy the dependent files, including the About Page.css file, which I do.  The next box that pops up tells me that there is no About Page.css file and when the template opens it is only partially styled.  I tried renaming the file and/or saving it somewhere else but nothing works.  I tried the blog template and get the same result with the blog css file missing.
    Why is this happening and how can I fix it?
    Kim

    Thanks for your help but it's really not worth the effort.
    I have a county government website running fine with the current set up.  Local files on my file server and remote files on the web server.  It's been working great for years.
    I wanted to try out the new starter templates just to see how they operate.  They simply refuse to create that one css file. All the other dependent files are created and stored where I indicate.  Only the one file is missing on each template.  It's not the end of the world.  I just thought I was overlooking something.
    Thanks again.

  • Bug Report - Some items in your iTunes Library ... because the file could not be found.

    10.6 and this is still this is a problem?!?!?!?!
    Not like this is an obscure issue only affecting a few noobs. Google returns 11,200 results on this issue!t'
    Can we PLEASE at least allow the list of broken files to be dumped as a text file so I can find them manually! guess not,
    I'll just have to get out a pencil and write down 100 songs to spend my saturday looking up and fixing. Or I could let my wife purchase 100 songs she already has whenever this comes up...
    What's really infurating is that non-technical wife thinks this means she must go to the iTunes store and buy them again.  Is it just coincidence that this only happens to songs that we ripped from the CD with iTunes? Hmmmm?....
    what follows is for the programmers, please make sure this get's to the development group.
    iTunes is the only music library manager, Media player was not even activated.
    iTunes is configured to "Keep folder organized", "Copy files to folder when adding"
    this has been a recurring issue since iTunes 9.x for us
    The issue is persisted accross system and library rebuilds.
    some of the same songs recurr but most of the time the list differs.
    Library survived transfer to new computer and back for a system rebuild (new hdd) w/o this issue.
    I'm guessing 100 songs is an arbitrary limit for error reporting.
    Songs seem to get lost for the following reasons.
    Track number added to filename
    Spelling of some tags like Album, Artist, Title differ in iTunes library and the file path !!!!
    Only seems to happen to mp3 files.
    My suspicion is that iTunes is downloading meta data from the store and updating the mp3 tags and iTunes Music Library.xml then predicting the new file location without actually moving the file to that new location. I've enabled insert/update auditing on the NTFS folder to see if that provided any new info.  I'm also capturing iTunes Music Library.xml so I can compare it to the new one WHEN this happens again and see if there is a pattern there.
    Would love a bug number and feedback chanel on this.

    The missing file thing happens when files are no longer where iTunes expects to find them. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the files, or that the drive they live on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout, or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
    Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
    Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files in a relatively sensible structure, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .
    Although you say you haven't used Media Player it can be raised as a background process by visiting enabled web sites. Possibly worth you reviewing this post: Getting iTunes & Windows Media Player to play nicely

    Unlike Windows Media player iTunes doesn't have a feature to automatically update tag data, although it will sometimes spot when a 3rd party program has (say during playback) and then update its own copy of the data. The iTunes (Music) Library xml file is provided for querying by third party software and is rewritten every time there is a change to the library, but is otherwise of no relevance to iTunes. The library is maintained in the iTunes Library.itl file. I suppose what could be happening is that iTunes issues a command to the file system to move a file based upon its tag, updates its knowledge of where the file is supposed to be, but the OS fails to move the file for some reason. Alternatively everything could go as planned, but iTunes could fail to get the updated copy of the library written out to disk so next time you start you get the previously stored locations.
    I have ideas of my own about the best way to organise my media, but I'm quite familiar with the way iTunes does it. It might be interesting to see the details of one of the broken tracks, the path iTunes thinks it is at, and the actual path, in case there is anything that can be deduced.
    Apple don't run an open bug tracking system so you won't be able to follow reports/progress based on a bug number. You can drop a line to iTunes Feedback or get a free Apple Developer account and submit a bug report report there.

  • How To Use a css File To Watermark A Report

    Hello.
    I am using Apex 4.0.1 and have a need to place a watermark (that is, a background image) over a report, both a "classic" type and Interactive Report.
    I have two questions about this.
    1) I've searched this Forum and found several good questions/responses about this subject. What I think is the most maintainable solution is to create a .css file and reference this file within the Template section of a copy of, say, the "Reports Region" template used by my application theme. And so, I made a copy of the "Reports Region" template and called it "Watermark Reports Region". I then created a very simple .css file called "bgimg.css" defined as:
    #REGION_STATIC_ID# {
    background-image: url(#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#menu_bug.png) !important;
    background-repeat: repeat !important;
    background-attachment: fixed !important;
    Note: For those that may not know, the "!important" clause is, in fact, a css defined clause used to tell the browser that it should give the associated option the highest precedence. This prevents my desired css option from being overridden by another css file. Frankly, I myself did not know this until after I saw it being used in several of the responses on this Forum and then read up about it.
    I uploaded this css file via the Apex "Shared Components -> Cascading Style Sheets" option. I also made sure that menu_bug.png is, in fact, among my workspace images.
    I also made sure that my "Watermark Reports Region" template contains the substitution variable "REGION_STATIC_ID" and that my actual report region has a value in the Region Static Id field.
    Within my "Watermark Reports Region" template, I tried to reference my .css file. This is where I think my problem is.
    I placed
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#bgimg.css" />
    at the very top of the Template section in my "Watermark Reports Region" template.
    I then assigned my template to my Apex report. When I run my report, I see nothing.
    So, how does one reference this css file within the template?
    =================================================
    2) I tried using my css tags as an internal style by placing it within the "HTML Header" section of my application page. I used:
    <style type="text/css">
    #empreport {
    background-image: url(#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#menu_bug.png) !important;
    background-repeat: repeat !important;
    background-attachment: fixed !important;
    </style>
    I assigned a div tag to my report region header and footer that looks like:
    In Header: <div id="empreport">
    In Footer: </div>
    When I run the report, I do get the image. But it is surrounding the report. It looks like my report is "floating" in a sea of bug images.
    So, how can I get these images to actually appear within the report itself. In other words, I want the report itself to be "transparent" so as to allow these images to be seen within the report body itself.
    Thank you all for any help/advice/code example.
    Elie

    Elie
    Thanks for taking the time to post sufficient information to understand the problem. In future if you're going to such efforts you might want to use them to reproduce the problem on apex.oracle.com, which means you can share actual working (or more likely not working!) code. Please also always wrap code posted on the forum in tags<tt>\...\</tt> tags to preserve formatting and special characters.

    I placed
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#bgimg.css" />

    >
    According to the relevant HTML 4.01 and XHTML 1.x standards, <tt>style</tt> and <tt>link rel="stylesheet"</tt> elements should only appear within the <tt>head</tt> element of a document.
    This changes in HTML5. The new <tt>scoped</tt> attribute allows <tt>style</tt> to be used in a prescribed way elsewhere in the document, with the effect that the styling rules specified are only to be applied to the other descendant elements of that <tt>style</tt> element's parent (in the way you're trying to do here). I'd expect <tt>link</tt> with a <tt>rel="stylesheet"</tt> to remain restricted to <tt>head</tt> content in HTML5: off the top of my head I can't see a use case for referencing external stylesheets in a non-metadata context.
    That said, current browsers apply CSS regardless of where in the document it appears, and future HTML5-compliant ones will continue to continue to do so for backwards compatibility. For myself, when using XHTML 1.0 I'll continue to follow the only put <tt>style</tt> and <tt>link</tt> elements in the page <tt>head</tt>. When I get round to using HTML5 for real I'll follow the standards for that as well.
    I strongly recommend that you follow the standards and only put <tt>link rel="stylesheet"</tt> elements in the page <tt>head</tt>.

    >
    Use <tt>!important</tt> only where it's actually needed. It's over-represented in this forum because Oracle changed the order of style sheet inclusion in APEX 4.0 and made it more difficult to override theme styles using CSS in the page HTML Header without modifying page templates.
    Try your styles initially without using <tt>!important</tt>, and also consider using the cascade to provide any necessary overrides by including your CSS after other style sheets.

    >
    Because <tt>#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#</tt> is not substituted in external CSS files: +{thread:id=986329}+
    If possible it's much better to locate image, CSS and JavaScript files externally on the file system. Otherwise you'll have to use the workaround suggested in that thread and include a <tt>style</tt> element in the page templates to specify the background image.
    When I run the report, I do get the image. But it is surrounding the report. It looks like my report is "floating" in a sea of bug images.Reports are descendants of their region containers and may be subject to additional built-in or theme styles that overrides that specified for the region. Your CSS selector has to specify the report element, not the entire region.
    So, how can I get these images to actually appear within the report itself. In other words, I want the report itself to be "transparent" so as to allow these images to be seen within the report body itself.I'd use a <tt>class</tt> attribute in the region template: this removes the need to use the <tt>#REGION_STATIC_ID#</tt> selector, and allows the CSS to go in the page <tt>head</tt> where it belongs. Add <tt>watermark-report-region</tt> in addition to any existing <tt>class</tt> values in the region template:
    <div class="borderless-region watermark-report-region" id="#REGION_STATIC_ID#" #REGION_ATTRIBUTES#>
      <div class="bl-body">#BODY#</div>
    </div>You may have to inspect the page source (use a web inspector like that found in Safari, or the Firefox+Firebug combo) to figure out what has to be overridden in the theme/templates you're using. This worked for an Interactive Report using theme 17:
    .watermark-report-region .apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA {
      background: #fff url(/i/menu/blank_app_32.gif);
    .watermark-report-region .apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA tr.even td,
    .watermark-report-region .apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA tr.odd td {
      background-color: transparent;
    }For a standard report you'll need to identify the selector required for the actual report element (equivalent to the <tt>apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA</tt> table) using the web inspector or from the report template. It would be a good idea to create standard report template(s) incorporating a <tt>watermark-report</tt> class on the report table to provide a simple selector for such reports.

  • FAQ: I found a bug. How do I write a useful bug report? Or send bug files to Adobe?

    If you think you've found a bug in Photoshop CS6, please post your findings here on the forums.
    Here is a list of the information we'll want for you to gather at a minimum:
    Clear and concise steps so that someone who isn't in front of your comptuer can reproduce the issue you are seeing
    Include information on the operating system/version you are running. (e.g. "Mac OS 10.7.3" or "Win XP Service Pack 3")
    Here are some more detailed instructions for writing a useful, complete bug report for us on the forums:
    Provide a descriptive title that includes your OS information:Example: "Photoshop crashes when I save a JPEG file using the File>Save For Web & Devices... command (Mac OS 10.7.3)"
    Provide concise, step-by-step details on how to reproduce the issue you are seeing.
    Example:
    Open an 8-bit, RGB image by selecting File>Open...
    Create a new layer by clicking the "Create New Layer" button on the bottom of the Layers panel
    Paint on the layer created in Step #2 using the default Brush tool
    Choose File>Save For Web & Devices...
    Make sure the optimized format is set to "JPEG" and set the Quality setting to "80"
    Click the Save button at the bottom of the Save For Web & Devices dialog, choose the desktop as the location for saving the file
    Provide a description of the "Result" you are observing:
    Example: "Result: Photoshop crashes"
    If there is an error dialog, please include the exact wording displayed in the dialog or provide a screen shot or video of the entire screen so we can see the dialog as well as the state of the application - i.e. what panels are shown, the state of the Layers panel, etc.
    If the error is a visual defect, either in the user interface or the image itself, provide a screen shot or video of the entire screen so we can see the dialog as well as the state of the application - i.e. what panels are shown, the state of the Layers panel, etc.
    Provide a description of the "Expected Result":
    Example: "Expected Result: Photoshop to save JPEG file to the desktop, no crash"
    In some cases this may be obvious (such as in the case of a crash) but in others, what you expect to happen may be different than what the application was designed to do. Please be as specific as possible.
    Provide the crash log by submitting all crash reports, including your email address, for every single crash your encounter:
    You may also include the contents of your crash log in your forum posts as well, but always submit them using the above instructions as well.
    Crash logs are located on Macintosh here: Users/<your user name>/Library/Logs/CrashReporter
    Provide your System Info from Photoshop: What's even more useful is if you can share your System Info from Photoshop as it contains all kinds of useful information (OS/version, graphics card, driver version, 3rd party plug-ins used, etc) that will help the team track down your issue.
    On occasion, the Photoshop engineers may request that you provide problematic files in order to reproduce and debug your issue.
    In these cases, please post the file somewhere using your own servers or one your favorite online document/distribution services and provide a URL/instructions to download the file:
    Dropbox
    Adobe SendNow
    YouSendIt
    If the file isn't something you can post publically, you can request that someone from the engineering team contact you to figure out a secure way to get the affected files.
    Thanks,
    The Photoshop Development Team

    First thing would be to realise the exact error. Second would be to check your logs to see what you have installed/upgraded which might be causing this error. Third, google your error and see if matches turn up. Fourth, search in Arch bugtracker to see if a match exist. Else file a report.

  • IWeb...error report, files missing??

    I'm not sure what's going on...I deleted one of my websites and all of the sudden I began having trouble with all my websites.  I have pictures, links to files, and other things missing.  Apparently iWeb can't find them.
    I did replace iWeb using Time Machine...got everything working perfectly again, and uploaded my websites...no problem!  It worked for one day.  And then this morning I open iWeb and I have the same error report and it says there are files missing.  As I scroll through my websites there are pictures and files missing all over the place.  Most are still there but many are not.
    The only think I did between it working again and this morning was that I restarted my computer holding command/alt/r/p because I was having airport problems and read that that might help.  I don't know why or how that could of affected iWeb.
    Other than that...I have no clue what is going on!!!
    Any suggestions?
    Please help.

  • Location of Apex 4.0 themes.css file

    Hi,
    I want to change/manipulate the size of the fonts, text wrap for the Interactive reports in APEX 4.0. I have read that it is possible by editing the themes .CSS file. Please advice me how can I do it.What is the location of themes.CSS file , how can I edit it. I am not an Apex expert, just a beginner. Your help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks in Advance.!!

    Hi James
    Can you please post the entire contents of your 'Header' in the 'Definition' section of the page template so that I can see where you are going wrong?
    When posting code on the forum, put {noformat}{noformat} (with the curly brackets and the word code in lowercase) above and below your code like this...
    {noformat}{noformat}
    SELECT *
    FROM emp
    {noformat}{noformat}
    It will then appear like this, preserving formatting...SELECT *
    FROM emp

  • How do I file Bug Report? Labview FPGA

    I'm not sure if this is a software bug or what, but I'm trying to run the Analog Input example project for Labview FPGA , in "Find Examples >> Hardware Input and Output >> R Series >> Basic IO >> Analog Input - R Series".
    The thing is, it works.. mostly..  I manage to send in a sine wave, and see it.  However, every now and then, when I set teh Waveform Graph X-axis to autoscale, and change the Update Mode, every time I put it into mode Scope Chart, it freezes my computer, and I have to physically power off my computer and power it back up (which i'm not happy about).  I'm using the default settings for the example, my card is in RSE mode, input signal at 25 Hz, 4V p-p
    I doubt anyone can guess why this is happening, but is there any way to file a bug report?
    Thanks,

    1... Adding an unrelated question to a 3-month old post is not the best way to get your questions answered.
    Start your own thread next time.
    2... The example works fine for me.  The EQUALS function works just fine for strings.  Be aware of some things, though:
    Case matters.  If you want to ignore case, then uppercase both strings (or lowercase them) before comparing.
    Length matters "X" is not the same as "X ". "123" is not the same as "1234".

  • XML publisher report with a template file missing

    I get the following error
    Active template file not found in the template definition <TEMPLATE_NAME> for date <EFFDT>. (235,2515)
    PSXP_RPTDEFNMANAGER.TemplateDefn.OnExecute Name:GetActiveTemplateFile PCPC:15872 Statement:346
    but in
    Reporting Tools > XML Publisher > Report Definition > Template tab
    I did have the setting Effective date, what cause the problem?

    Have a look at following post and run the sql in this post to see if your template definition is missing.
    http://peoplesoft.wikidot.com/xml-publisher-template-file-missing
    You could also run Application Engine PSXPCLEAN to clean orphan rows.
    Are you running the report online or through PeopleCode?
    In last case make sure the effdt is set correct in PeopleCode.
    Also have a look if your server time settings are correct.

  • [Bug Report] Rhythmbox missing depedency for "tdb"

    Here's the bug report:
    https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/29310
    Just tryed to install Rhythmbox and had to track down that depedency.  Just figured I'd post it here to try to give it some more attention.  Seems like a pretty easy fix that could save some users some frustration.  Go give it a vote on the bug report so the developers will see this.

    For Oracle TopLink customers can report bugs using a support request on metalink.oracle.com.
    For TopLink Essentials customer can directly file bugs in the GlassFish system.
