Bulk In Pipe is -1, Bulk In Status is Invalid

I'm creating a new driver for an old piece of equipment, a Canberra iSolo Alpha/Beta Radiation Counter. The manufacturer does not supply an independent driver with the instrument. I'm forced to use USB RAW since I don't believe the tool is USBTMC compatable. I've created a USB driver using the VISA Wizard and it looks like it's almost all there, except I get a VI_ATTR_USB_BULK_IN_STATUS with an Invalid Property Value, the instrument appears to not support Bulk In Pipe so that attribute is set to -1. Why is the value for the status invalid?

I do have the details of the instruments protocols, see attachment.
Originally the instrument appeared as HID (Human Interface Device).
The instrument is currently in use using the vendors software via the USB port. Using the USB port it is expected to minimize impact to operations, hardware and development time. And I do not have an RS232 cable for a PC/iSolo connection.

Document SIgnature Status becomes invalid after resigning

Hi all,
I have a form with two Document Signature.
When i clear and resign one of the Document Signature it status is invalid.
Please suggest me a solution.

I tested the form you posted. Here is what I found, but I am not completely clear on what all your script is supposed to be doing.
Steps
1) I filled in the first "comment line"
2) I signed the first signature field
3) Results: The signature was valid, the document status (see screen shot 1signature_docstatus.gif) reported the signature was valid. The signature staus was valid as displayed in the signature panel (see screen shot 1signature_detail.gif)
4) I added and filled in a second "comment line"
5) I signed the second signature field
6) Results: The first signature was valid, the second signature was valid, and the document status repored that ther were "unsigned changes" since the last signature was applied (see screen shot 2signature_docstatus.gif) The signature statuses were valid with subsequent changes made to the document as displayed in the signature panel (see screen shot 2signature_detail.gif)
Don't confuse the "exclamation" mark icon with "Invalid", it is only a warning to inform you that changes have been made that are not "digitally signed", I suspect your some part of your script is causing this. If you want to have Acrobat\Reader display a green check mark icon, then you cannot make any changes to the document after the final signature has been applied.
If you haven't done so, take a look at the sample I posted on your duplicate post in this forum ( http://forums.adobe.com/thread/492773?tstart=0 ).
If a signature is "invalid" it will display a red "X" icon.

Business Objects XI 3.1 SP4 Infoview and IE9 HTTP Status 400 - Invalid path

Hi There,
When I working in Infoview with IE9 32Bit or 64Bit and I right click on any object i.e Crystal Report, Folder, Webi Report etc. and select properties I get the following Error
HTTP Status 400 - Invalid path /PlatformServices/properties was requested
Has any one got a workaround or a solution for this problem.
Server - BOE XI 3.1 with SP4 running on a Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bit.
Client PC`s\Laptops - Windows 7 64 bit

Seems the issue is browser compatibility ans the below solution may work in your case
HTTP 400 occurs because of URL difference between IE9 and older versions of supported IE. To resolve this issue, this error in Tomcat will be redirected to a HTML script that applies new URL format. Please follow this 3 steps process:
STEP ONE: Solution in InfoViewAppActions Folder:
1) Go to “D:\Business Objects\Tomcat55\webapps\InfoViewAppActions” folder. This folder already has httperror_404.htm and httperror_500.jsp by default. Rename httperror_404.htm to httperror_404_backup.htm.
2) Copy and paste the attached file from InfoViewAppActions folder (httperror_400.htm and httperror_404.htm) into “D:\Business Objects\Tomcat55\webapps\InfoViewAppActions” folder. Go to “D:\Business Objects\Tomcat55\webapps\InfoViewAppActions\WEB-INF”
3) Take a backup of web.xml file and name it as web_backup.xml
4) Open the file and paste the following script after the Error 404 error handling and save.
Before:

I have a BusinessObject Enterprise XI 3.1 installed on a Linux server.
When I try to create a New Web Intelligence Document, I get the following error.
HTTP Status 400 - Invalid path /AnalyticalReporting/WebiCreate was requeste
Do I need to install another module to activate this feature?

Basically, you have to use the wdeploy command.
Another information: When you install a Service Pack or a Fix Pack, the war files need to be redeployed.
The installation program asks you if you want to do it manually or automatically.

Recently I bought Iphone 4s. I'm having trouble receiving and sending calls and messages, in the Red Status appears INVALID SIM or without Signal... I already restored the original settings, changed sim card and still got nothing fixed... what else can I do? Is it possible to change my Iphone 4s.

License Status showing Invalid License for SAP CE7.2

I have installed and configured SAP CE7.2 in windows with oracle.
Recently when i check the CE7.2, Java engine was stopped due to invalid license.
After that i requested for permanent license key from SAP then i have applied the same license file in CE7.2 but no luck still it showing: License Status is Invalid.
Installed license in the path, please correct me if i am wrong.
logged into NWA and Configuration Management > Licenses...
Tried installing the license several times but no use, still its showing Invalid License in LICENSE STATUS and also i am not able to bring the Java engine UP.
Can anyone help me to resolve the above issues.

Package status shown invalid

Hi,
I am facing the below error,
ORA-04061: existing state of package body "TBM.PAYBACK" has been invalidated
ORA-06508: PL/SQL could not find program unit being called "TBM.PAYBACK"
Status of the package,
select status,object_name, owner from dba_objects where object_name='PAYBACK' and owner = 'TBM';
status object_name owner
invalid PAYBACK public
valid PAYBACK tbm
valid PAYBACK tbm
For TBM user it shows status "valid" and PUBLIC user "invalid"
So is the package valid or invalid.
Connecting as sys tried to compile the package and the package body.. it gets compiled successfully.
But the above sql query still show the same output.
Please guide.

Database upgrade to 10.2.0.4 error - oracle RAC status showing Invalid

Hi all,
I am getting this error during database upgrade to 10.2.0.4 error - "oracle real application clusters status invalid. "
I am getting the above error after running catupgrd
and checking the status SELECT COMP_NAME, VERSION, STATUS FROM SYS.DBA_REGISTRY;
This is not a RAC database and this is the only components which shows INVALID.
Is it normal? Please advice me the action/steps to take to rectify ASAP as it is urgent ... Thanks & Regards, Deepak Gupta

Probably database was 9i and it was upgraded to 10g?
It can be normal situation.
Please check metalink note 312071.1
If database is not rac, then simply ignore this status as workaround is quite difficult and definetely it's not worth to go for it.

Nbound Idoc Status 64

Hi experts,
Im facing diffuculty to find out why some IDocs are in status 64 on the system. If it is re-processed individually, it will be successful. But as a bulk, the status will be in 64. I checked the settings too. It is in "trigger Idoc immediately" status only. When these Idocs are recieved , the initial status is 64. Then it is taking time to change the status to 53 , one by one.....which is a gradual process. can you please help me out.

There can be various reasons for the issue you're having. When the status turns to 64, the input is given to the calling FM. Please check the following:
1. Trigger immediately - You have confirmed this
2. Process code - What type of processing is this? e.g. Calling a workflow? Using a FM (Direct input FM or call transaction)?
Based on the type of processing triggers go out and processing programs take their time to post. For e.g. if you have a call transaction custom FM defined for your type of inbound processing. Then to post the IDOC in SAP, the transaction called might take its own usual time. Because the processing is batch mode, there will be priorities assigned by BASIS for each types of processing. That might affect your processing too. Lastly, there could be lock entries etc which might be slowing things down for your inbound processing. Your load of IDOC processing will also matter a lot. I have seen thousands of IDOC's being processed by some clients at a certain time of the day. There could be clashes for resources in the application layer. If you're using a SAP standard FM for inbound processing, check if any exits are causing the delays (like hard database queries etc).
When you process interactively, you're just processing one IDOC. But when a huge load of IDOC's come inbound into the port, system allocates resources to process them as they come in. So lot of things happen which you have to look at carefully and take out of consideration. If you provide more information, someone will be able to share better information.

How to find out the projects with status "Invalid"?

IDOC Status 68 & 51

Hi,
There is an IDOC with status 68 (Error - no further processing) , Earlier it was in status 51 with the status text "INVALID DATE' .
How to find out for which particular date field's the error is being thrown..?? what is the approach to find out the root cause of the issue.?? the IDOC is being sent to R3 through XI.
Plz give suggestions on how to tackle the issue.

The idoc Status for 59 and 51 for indound idoc is....
68 Error - no further processing
51 Application document not posted
the possible solution is checkthe Partner profile for the Idoc and Port number..
and go to T_code we20 and check the Partner.and check the Syntax in the application tool bar...
then you will come to know the problem..

Intermedia Status Invalid after 10.1.0.4 patchset

I just installed the 10.1.0.4 patche set 2. At the end of the 7.4.2 Upgrade the Release 10.1 Database it shows Oracle interMedia's status is INVALID. How can I find out what's causing the INVALID status and more importantly how can I fix it?

Http Status 400

Hi.
First of all, If this is in the wrong part of the forum.
A user is running windows 7, Since her PC was upgraded from XP she is unable to run any infoview reports. They reports are created in crystal reports. Other users are able to run the same report, She is the only person who has been upgraded to windows 7.
She receives an error when running the report as below;
https status 400 - invalid path \ crystalreports\view was requested
Type : Status Report
Message : invalid path\crystalreports\view was requested
Description : The request sent by the client was syntactically incorrect (invalid path \ crystalreports\view was requested
Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this error ?

Hello and thanks for the reply and sorry for the delay responding.
Installing chrome has worked for the users that this affects. Does anyone know what the problem with IE 9 is ? Our IT dept are rolling out IE 9 as part of the windows 7 upgrade. We have approx 60-70 business objects users and we can't install chrome as a seperate browser to use with buiness objects on each PC.
