Burn same photos to multiple cd's

I need to burn 3 copies of the same album to cd's. Is there a way to go through the preparing files process 1 time, and then burn 3 copies?
Thanks!
Larissa Zozula

Export the images to local harddisk and then burn your CD's from there.

  • How can I edit the same photo in multiple LR catalogs?

    Hi Forumworld,
I would like to edit the same photo in multiple LR catalogs. Before you say "don't", there are many reasons why I'd like to do this. I am a working professional photographer and LR is one of the many tools in my workflow. I essentially want to organize my catalogs according to two different principles: once by year and once by theme. As in, a catalog each for 2014, 2015, 2016. But also one where I can group all of my wedding photos, for instance. I have several reasons for not throwing all of them together into one catalog.
I know that LR is essentially non-destructive, making this an uphill battle. But: if I do something like set all LR catalogs involved to Automatically Write Changes into XMP, should that a) be visible by any catalog and b) sync properly? As in: once the photo is imported to both Catalog A to Catalog B, can I edit it in A and see those changes - including developing, but also flagging etc. - in B? And vice-versa?
    Thanks for your help,
    Adam

    Hi All,
thanks for the various answers. I've considered most of what was written already, but the gem in all this that I was looking for was from John's answer:
You will also lose some of your work (xmp doesn't record flags, stacking, virtual copies, history steps...). So for one thing you specifically mentioned, flagging, you can't sync it across multiple collections
This is consistent with what I've experienced - I wanted to find out if there was a way to not loose some of my work. The goal was to find a way that everything would sync automatically & properly so that I would always access the identical image from various catalogs. This is what I thought XMP would do - but I experienced that it didn't and now I understand that it won't do it properly, regardless of the settings. Flags were exactly the piece of information I was missing when I tried this.
I am surprised that everyone is telling me to use one Catalog. I am sorry but I don't believe that it will scale - because that is not what I have experienced. When my LR4 catalog got to about 50,000 images, it slowed down dramatically.  Has something big changed in LR5? I have read many threads about this, most seem to say that already in LR4 it shouldn't have slowed down, but it did. No, my hard drive wasn't full. I just shoot a lot, mostly with a D800.
    Thanks,
    Adam

  • Same photo in multiple projects?

Hi there. New Aperture user here so hope this isn't a stupid question. I was wondering if it's possible to have the same photo in multiple Projects? My understanding is that all photos are stored in my Aperture Library but the photos in the Projects are really just links to the photos in the Aperture Library. Is that correct?
I would like to have certain photos in multiple Projects, if possible. Thank you.
    -Keith

Thanks William. Here is a broader question/issue then.
Right now I have 20+ Projects in the AL. Then I have multiple .Mac Web Galleries based off of certain Projects.
Should I create one "Master" Project, and then create 20+ Albums under that Master Project? It seems like that is what I was going for when I created multiple Projects in the first place. Albums are just links to the photo in the Project, correct?
If I do that, will I have to re-do my .Mac Web Galleries (since they are linked to those Projects, right)?
Also, not quite sure I understand your last reply regarding copying the Album? Sorry.

  • How can I print multiple copies of same photo onto one page on iPhoto 9.5.1?

How can I print multiple copies of same photo onto one page on iPhoto 9.5.1? I was able to do it on the old iPhoto, but can't seem to be able to do it on the new iPhoto. Grrr...

Photos does the same thing.... Only workaround I can come up with is to create a template in Pages and copy & paste.

no - you simply have to select the option to print mucliples of a photo on a page
select the photo and go to the file menu ==> print - select the printer, paper size and print size and click customize - in the tool bar click on the settings icon (the gear looking thingy) and select "multiple of the same photo per page" and the preview will reflect this option showing a full page of the selected size photos

2 - Control-clicking on the next photo and selecting Paste Adjustments.

  • Multiple copies of same photo on same page seems to assume A4?

I'm trying hard to work out how to print out multiple copies of the same picture. I want to get 2 copies on each 4x6" sheet of photo paper and have followed all the steps...
Selected 1 picture, hit print, went to Settings, selected "Multiple of the same photo per page".
I then went to Print Settings, selected Borderless 4x6 (yes, the printer works fine with that usually - HP Photosmart C4280) and set the Print Size to 2x3 and the preview shows the 2 copies of the same photo side-by-side no problem.
So I hit OK, clicked on Print and...
It's not aligning with the left hand side of the 4x6 - it's not respecting the selected paper size. If I put in a sheet of A4 to test, the 2 pictures come out in the centre of the page (in the requested size). So as a result I can't print on the 4x6 paper as most of the picture gets printed on nothing!
Am I doing something wrong or is this some kind of bug in either iPhoto or the HP printer driver? Anyone had any success with this? If so, what kind of printer were you using?

    Jemster:
    Here's the workflow I used to get 2 2x3s on a 4x6:
1 - select photo & click on print button
    2 - select 4x6 borderless and 2x3 print size
    3 - click Customize button
4 - click on settings button
5 - select "Multiple of same photo per page" (after clicking OK two photo are shown on the preview)
6 - click on the Print button.
Where I differ is that I don't go back to Print Settings to select the 4x6 paper size after Step 5. Give that a try.
NOTE: Do a Print to PDF to check it out instead of printing on paper. That will save some paper in case it doesn't work.
That gives me two photos on the 4x6. I'm using a Canon i850. I also get the same results with an Epson R280.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

  • Multiple copies of the same photo on a page in iPhoto 11?

Can I print multiple copies of the same photo on a page in iPhoto 11?

    Try the following:
1 - put the photo in an album and duplicate it as many times as the number of prints you want on a given page. This is assuming the page is US Letter (borderless).
2 - select all the prints and type Command+P (Print).
3 - in the next window select Paper Size to be US Letter (borderless).
4 - also, at the bottom of the window, select the aspect ratio and a custom size that will allow you to get all of the photos on one page.
This screenshot is for a photo that has a size ratio of 4:3, was duplicated 3 times and then printed with a custom size of 4x3 selected to get four prints on the page. You can experiment the custom size until you get the largest possible size for the 4 photos on the page.

  • How do I add the same description to multiple photos in the new photos app

How do I add the same description to multiple photos? I could do this in iPhoto but I do not see a way to do it in Photos for OS X. This is a handy feature to have.

This link asks the same question,  https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6994338?searchText=How%20do%20I%20add%20a%2 0description%20to%20multiple%20photos?
Someone shows the method to use AppleScript/ Automator to make Photos add the same description to multiple photos. I just opened up AppleScript editor and poked around the Dictionary for Photos and saw we have access to GPS longitude, latitude and altitude. So by using a third party app/web page to get those values, an Apple Script could be used to batch add the info to selected photos. That being said, I'm really busy these days and lack time to write scripts and migrate to photos.

I am somehow missing the "settings" which allowed me to do this in earlier versions.
Grateful for any hints. Thank you. Znon

That is not a feature of iPhoto - suggest to Apple - iPhoto Menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback.
You can only do it by duplicating the photos "n-1" times to make "n" prints and selecting all copies then print

  • How can I apply the same crop to multiple photos?

It is easy to apply the same Adjust settings to multiple photos by using the Copy and Paste in the Adjust pane. Or by using iPhoto Batch Enhancer.
But can you apply the same crop to multiple photos? I don't see any way to copy a crop. iPhoto Batch Enhancer can do something like it but, being an external editor, it does so on a copy of the photo. I want it on the original photo. (Well, it's not really the original since that one is saved separately in the Library but on the current version).
    Thanks for any suggestion.
    Bo

    Here's how:
1 - bring up the first photo in the edit window and click on the Crop button or *use the "C" key on the keyboard*.
2 - set the crop size/ratio in the menu and position the crop window over the photo as needed.
3 - click the Apply button or *use the Enter key*.
4 - click on the right arrow in iPhoto or *use the right arrow key on the keyboard* to bring up the next photo.
5 - click the "C" key to bring up the crop function.
6 - repeat steps 2 thru 5 for each photo.

Using camera accessory, I have imported photos to my iPad 3rd generation. By mistake I have imported multiple copies of same photos. Now if I want to delete additional copies I can't. It gives me only one option "Delete everywhere" instead of delete one by one, so that I can keep one copy of that photo.
Is there a way to delete additional copies of a photo and keeping only one?

  • Burning photos from multiple collections to a CD

I have multiple collections that I want to burn to a CD. It seems I can only burn one collection at a time using the File > Burn command.
Is the only way to accomplish this to Export the photos to a folder and then use a third party software to burn these photos to a CD?
    Thanks for your time, myra

The whole point behind collections [assuming you are referring to the PSE 3 Organizer facility of that name] is that they are project-oriented. In other words, you should only use one in order to define the images [and their sequence] for a particular task. Burning a CD is such a task. This is why it is only possible to assert one collection at a time. For all other organization, use tags.
To address your problem is easy enough. Just create a new collection, say "CD burn", then select each other collection in turn and apply this new one to all the images. Then, select the CD Burn collection and you're all set.

  • Why do i see multiple copies of same photos, photo stream and camera roll

Photos on my wife's iPhone 5S take up a lot of space ( iCloud memory full, can't update phone).  It How do I trim it down?  I moved a lot of her shots to my macbook, then deleted most of them (except the ones she wanted available) but it didn't seem to help.

Is your question about multiple copies of photos or about trimming down the amount of memory your photos are taking up?
Photo Stream only takes up a small amount of storage since it is primarily housed in iCloud.
Camera Roll photos can be imported to a computer and deleted from the device.
When you say multiple copies, do you mean the same photos in Camera Roll and Photo Stream? If so, then you need to understand that every photo you take on your device will be seen in both the Camera Roll and in Photo Stream. They serve two different purposes. The Camera Roll is where your actual photos go and are stored on your device. These are the photos you import to your computer.
Photo Stream is where photos taken from any device signed onto the same iCloud account and that have Photo Stream turned on all go. That way, you can see photos on your iPhone that you took on your iPad and vice versa. But again, these photos are stored in iCloud and take up very little memory on your device.
