BUS2205 - Tolerances are not considered when 2nd Invoice is created for PO

Question

Dear all,
I have the following problem with invoice in SRM7.0 and standalone scenario.
The following tolerances are set up: DA, DQ and PP
PO 1234
- P1   50 ST   1,06 EUR  => 53 EUR
- P2   60 ST   0,50 EUR  => 30 EUR
INV 3001
- P1  40 ST  1,50 EUR  => 60 EUR
- P2  40 ST  0,75 EUR  => 30 EUR
Posting this first invoice is fine. No messages nor exceptions.
Now I want to post a 2nd invoice with the following values/reference to the PO 1234:
INV 3002
- P1  10 ST   2,00 EUR  => 20 EUR
- P2  10 ST  1,50  EUR  => 15 EUR
According to the tolerance settings this should work there is enough value and quantity tolerance available. However I get the following errors:
BBP_IV, 103 'Für die Bestellung ... ist weder Position noch Limit zur Berechnung offen'
BBP_IV, 067 'Bestellung enthält keine zur Berchnung offenen Positionen'
/SAPSRM/PDO_INV, 221 'Aus Bestellung &1 konnte keine Position eingefügt werden'
The main error BBP_IV, 103 is triggered inside function BBP_IV_ASSIGNMENT.
Trying to change the message type from E to W doesn't work, because those messages are triggered in the corresponding PDO layer.
What I'm wondering is the fact that there is NO TOLERANCE check here it's a pure consideration of PO values and already existing GR and/or INV.
Does anyone of you have an idea for a suitable workaround?
Updating the invoice data with the outstanding PO values can be done in BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI. But how to get rid of the error messages of function BBP_IV_ASSIGNMENT (PDO layer)?

Hi,
To address your problem, it is advisable to make the field as an incomplete item in the Sales Order before allowing the Sales Order to be saved. 
Check the warning field in incomplete procedure for Sales Header and assign it to your document type. That is at least something you could do to "remind" the user and serve as a warning to them to input during order creation.
In standard, changing the PO number field in Billing creation is not possible - this is a referenced field from Order document.
