Business Contact Mngr Shuts Down in Accounts

Hello, Couple things in Business Contact Manager:
1) Just started today, everytime I try to go into one of the old emails from an account - Outlook shuts down.
2) All my settings got changed - for example Mobile is now "pager" and when I use the drop down it doesnt let me change it back? Same thing on email - its stuck on "email 2" instead of just "email"
Please help, love using BCM so really want these resolved.

1.Is this issue with BCM or not? If it's about archive .pst file, run Scanpst.exe to repair it:http://office.microsoft.com/en-001/outlook-help/repair-outlook-data-files-pst-and-ost-HA010075831.aspx
2.It seems to be related to the September update. Refer to the thread to check if you have the same issue:http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2013_release-outlook/business-contact-manager-in-outlook-2013-form/ba2bb408-2476-4ffd-a213-64c61ad72e97
You may need to uninstall the September update to make it work.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    Start here (change country if necessary) and navigate to 'Password and Security', reset your security questions using the link provided, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
    If that doesn't help, you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
    If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support.

  • TS1702 App Trailers has shut down my account "suspended it" for months and they will not give me an answer as to why, I have sent them several emails and they never respond

    I have installed and used "App Trailers on my iphone and about two months ago they suspended my account due to irregular activity, I have done nothing wrong and keep sending them email about this but they do not respond and still have my account on suspension.  It is not fair I have points I want to redeem and they will not let me....help anyone???

    Is that a method to force a skype account to become closed?   To delete one's own email account associated with the skype account?  The skype account would have no email account any longer.

    What can be done to get it back ?

    How full is the disk?
    Reset the SMC
    Memory and disk space are different. Memory is RAM and disk space would be your hard drive. Sorry if I can't make that clear enough. Google it for more info.

    I have 2 Gmail accounts, one Google Apps account and one regular Google account.
    I use one for my business and the other for personal use.
    Each account has a number of contacts (business contacts in the Google Apps account, and personal in the other). My problem is that when I made the configuration, only my personal contacts shows, not the one in the my business account
    E-mail and calendars work just fine but the issue with contacts really bothers me. Can some one help?

    You can't sync contacts between iPhone and Google directly and (i've tested this right now) you can't sync iTunes with two Google Accounts but only with one Google Account.
    There is only one solution: First go to your private Google Account (use the website) and select Contacts. Select all contacts and export them as vCard (for Apple addressbook) and import them into iCloud addressbook. Now do the same with your business Google Account.
    It is possible that there is a 3rd-party software which can do this automatically but i don't know any. Sorry!

  • T 61 will Not shut down

    A two week old Type 6459 T61 with Vista Business will not shut down. It will sleep and hibernate but will not shutdown or restart (and I am telling it specifically to shutdown/restart). After a bit all disk activity stops and it just sits there telling me it is "shutting down" when it is not doing anything. For as long as I let it sit that is what it is telling me. I must use a hard shutdown, such as the power button (so programmed) or unplugging and yanking the battery if i actually want it to shut.
    Any clues?  If I shutdown before I log in then shutdown will work. But if i log out and then shut down this will not work.  If i restart uing safe mode (after forcing the shut down) then the machine will shut down. Have tried all sorts of variations of shutdown.exe to no avail. Have run with and witout Aero. I am running only Lenovo/MS supplied or branded software in services and processess and disabled all else. I have disabled all startup apps via msconfig except antivirus (presently the Norton that came with the machine) and winamp agent (to maintain file associations) and Lenovo's on screen display. No help.
    There are about 50 (I am not exagerating) services and processes runnning when I try to shut down that are not running in safe mode when the machine shuts down properly. I am hoping someone has a suggestion other than to disable each of the service/processes in turn and see if machine will shutdown or restart.
    And I do not want to reinstall Vista. Too many commercial apps (MS office, Adobe 9 Professional etc.) that I would have to reinstall.
    Have tried with and without Sidebar; no change. Have tried with and without NVidia helper apps; no change. Have not yet used Roxio (supplied by Lenovo) .
    So, I hope someone "out there" can think of which processes are the "bad" ones. There seem to be many threads about Lenovo's shutting down when they should not; I have not seen other posts where people are having trouble shutting down when they want to shut down. I would like to think the problem is not with Windows Vista or with the Lenovo supplied software (then it should happen with everyone, right?) but what I would like to think may not count . . .

    Bill please activate your windows services, except may be indexing, they eat not much memory and cpu power.
    Vista will need one or two weeks, after you have your programs installed to get fully performable.
    I would recommend to uninstall Norton and may me Winamp, if necessary.
    Antivir or AVG are much smaller and faster, but also safe.

    I just got back from a two week vacation, which happened to be just about a week after 1.4.  First off, before my vacation, I noticed a couple of weird things happening:
    Universal search wasn't working, except for applications and phone numbers.  So if I slid open my phone and started typing, I'd get no contact results and no option to search the web/wikipedia/etc.  Searching for something like "contact" would bring up a result for the contacts app though
    Clicking on the messaging app would register on the screen like I had clicked on it and it was about to open up, but it would never actually follow through.  It didn't lock the phone up, it just registered that you had clicked on it and never did anything about it.  This meant no messages of any sort, including text messages .
    Certain folks phone numbers had disappeared.  Not everyone, but a few scattered throughout.  Their contact information remained, just sans phone number.
    When opening the email application, am greeted with simply a white page, and the +app button in the lower left.  Going to accounts, my two emails accounts aren't accounted for at all( gmail and a work imap ).  Unable to re-add either account.
    So I figure something's gone wonky in the 1.4 update and that before I go off traveling for two weeks, I'll just hard reset it to make sure everything works.  I do that, everything seems to work fine, grab my spare battery and I'm off.  Unfortunately, no luck.  I'm in Washington DC and all the same problems are popping up.  Especially bad not being able to get text messages.  Fortunately, internet and the phone application work.  I took it in to a repair store, and they told me I was going to need to replace my phone, but they wouldn't be able to get one to me until after I had already went off to NYC.
    So I get to NY, my phone still isn't working - though all of the above problems aren't totally consistent.  Sometimes it seems like everything is working.  Sometimes all of the problems are happening at the same time.  I run the diagnostic tests and get a result of 100- bad memory.  So I finally get a new phone from Sprint in Brooklyn, and get everything set back up.  Hurray for the cloud and palm profile here - saved me oodles of time and was pretty close to seamless.  Except for the random deleted phone numbers.  Anyway, everything seems to be working fine, no issues.  My battery ends up running low on me later that night, so I shut it down and put in my backup battery.
    Bam! Back to the same issues.  Now mind you, this is on a new phone from Sprint( I watched him switch it over, so I'm certain they didn't just tell me I was getting a new one ).  The only things that are the same are my batteries, the back( it's a touchstone backpiece ) and my profile.  The issues seem to occur with both of my batteries, and the sprint guy seemed to think they were in ok shape.  I can't imagine it's the backplate, though I haven't tried with a different one yet.  So I'm left thinking it's my profile.
    Now the odd part - very consistently after a reset my phone works beautifully.  The first time I shut it down or restart it the issues pop up and don't go away.  I've tried canceling all of my applications from loading, deleting all installed applications( installed via the app store only ), etc with no success.  It's kinda driving me nuts now.  It doesn't seem to be hardware based, the sprint store guys haven't been very helpful past replacing the phone the first time, and I'm not sure where to go next.
    TL;DR: I'm having phone issues that appear to be related to my palm profile and am unsure as to how to go about solving them.

    I've done as you've suggested and so far it seems to be working.  It's been about 30 hours now, I've drained the battery all they way down once, and when I get home this evening I'll try shutting down and switching to my backup battery just to double check that that works.  Otherwise, it certainly seems as if it's a profile issue.
    So, if that is the case, is it going to be possible to get my contact information that was stored on my old profile?  I don't really use the calendar too much, so that's not a huge issue, but I would also like to get my paid apps back too if possible, or some sort of credit so I can buy them again.

    Edit: I just swapped out batteries and as expected, everything still works so does look like the profile.

    You cannot merge Apple ID accounts, that has never been supported.
    You can contact the Apple ID Security folks per the listing in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699 and they can help reset security questions and get the account working.

    What do you mean 'shut down' ? If you mean that it's disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
    You might then need to log out of your account on your iOS device by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it
    If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
    If you've also forgotten your security answers then read the HT5312 page that you posted from, it has instructions for how to reset them.

    Have you contacted your card issuer to cancel that card and changed your iTunes account password ?   • HT204053 I started using iCloud on all my Apple products before MobileMe shut down, setting up a new ID and password to do that.  When MobileMe moved to iCloud, it became my primary account for iCloud and is interfering with everything I had done before. 

    I started using iCloud on all my Apple products, using a new password and ID, before MobileMe shut down.  Apparently I shouldn't have done that, because when MobileMe moved to iCloud, it automatically became my primary account and took over everything I had previously set up on my iCloud account.  I would like to eliminate the MobileMe account, but I can't find a way to do it.  Anyone have any experience with this?  It's making me very frustrated with iCloud.

    The primary account is the one signed into in System Preferences>iCloud (or on an iPhone Settings>iCloud). If it isn't the account you want to use, simply sign out and the sign back in with the required account. On signing out your data will be removed from your Mac but not from the iCloud server.
    If you want to you can sign in with the other account in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts & Calendars - you can sync that account's email, contacts and calendars and they will appear alongside the equivalent data in the primary account.
    The main differences are that the secondary account's email will not be 'pushed' but will be checked periodically, and the secondary account cannot use PhotoStream.
