Plants abroad - WIA billing document

Hello,
I have customized plants abroad as explain in note 506588, but when I try to bill the delivery document to obtain the WIA billing document, the system displays an error saying that the document is not relevant for billing.
The billing relevance of the item type used in the
delivery document is "Relevant for deliveries across EU countries". The plants used in the process flow are from Spain and from Denmark, so we need the billing document for the EU report in both countries.
The used flow is the following
Purchasign order: UB
Delivery document: NL
Sales document: NL
Item category: NLN
Billing document: WIA
Plants abroad are activated and the VAT Registration Number for Plants Abroad is entered. Does anyone know why the delivery is not relevant for billing if the item category is marked as relevant?
Thanks in advance, best regards.

Hi
Can you let me know ,
Is it the triangular deal you are speaking
Because from your flow , I could not see any delivery against the sales order.
Can you let me know .
Hope to help you.

  • ACCOUNTING a multi-plant Billing document

    Hello everybody,
I've a pb when I try to create an accounting document in reference to a multi-Plant billing document.
The error messge is that the Partner's Business Area is obligatory (as customized deliberately).
When I bill several deliveries of the same plant, I've no pb, but once I try to bill deliveries of 2 or more plants. I've an interface error message.
After several tests, I think that It may be due to grouping criteria of accounting document. I've already heard of a pb of this type, but Idon't know where it is in SPRO.
Thanks in advance for yout help.
    Regards

    Hello,
Thanks for your answer & remark.
My problem is that within the same business area, the accounting document is not generated only if I have one single artticle (MATNR) of one single plant in my billing document (several items (POSNR) of one of the same MATNR is not a problem).
But when I have 2 or more MATNR of 2 or more plants, I have an error message, which means that my accounting document doesn't accept more than one type of General Account / profit center... I don't really know!!
    Thanks in adavance

  • Billing document and Excise invoice document number should be same

    Dear SD gurus
kindly help me following client requirement
in order to cash (domestic & Exports)
and sto (intra and Inter plant to plant) scenarios the billing document number and excise invoices number should trigger  same number
Example order- delivery- pgi- commercial invoice (VF01) --- billing document no.1234 here it should create automatically excise invoice no 1234
in J1iin disply it show ref document no( billing document no: 1234.    & excise invoice no 1234

    Dear All,
As per the standard it is not possible. But some times client says why two different numbers ranges we require same numbers ranges for both billing doc. & Excise invoice.
Please go through the following link
    http://saptechsolutions.com/pdf/SDDocumentNumberRangeEnhancements.pdf
Also check with the Abaper with explicit enhancement by maintaining the number range values in Custom table where we go when ever there is no option for(if client is not convincing) but which is not reccomandable but left out with no choice when client is demanding.

  • SD billing document (transfer between plants) error in document splitting

    Dear Gurus.
    I have the following scenario.
    New GL activated
    Zero balance on Profit Center.
SD billing document is created after the shipping of material (internal transfer) between 2 plants belonging to the same company code.
I have several user exits activated and they are not well documented if activated.
    Case1.
The billing document is usually created with materials populated with the same Profit Center.
In Tr VF01/VF02 the function: Release for Accounting is executed and no accounting document is created (OK cause they belong to the same company code), this function is just closing the cycle of the billing document to set the status as completed.
    Case2.
Billing document containing several materials with more than one Profit Center
During the execution of the function: Release for accounting the following error is gotten: Position 1 is not populated with Profit Center - apparently caused by the splitting rule - financial document creation -  the status of the billing document is not set to Completed, is kept as opened.
As I commented In case 1 I do not have any accounting document (no error message)
    Doubt 1
Is it possible that the splitting rule is being checked even though no accounting document is created (remember billing in a scenario of material transfer between plants belonging to the same company code)?
Apparently in case 1 I do not have any error cause the splitting rule is deriving the profit center in a passive basis: Inheritance.
In the other way, in case 2 the splitting rule is trying to derive the profit center in an active basis. In my configuration I actually do not have any configuration for the combination of transaction, variant, position to be derived, position basis.
    Doubt 2.
Is this the standard behavior of SAP?
Could this be caused by a user exit not identified?
thanks in advance for any advice provided
    Regards vpa
    Valentin PA.
    2.
In case 1 is clear that as only one profit center is shown theoretically the inheritance rule is populating the Profi

It would be possible, I suppose.  You could generate Idocs from the SD system (or an interface file) and import that info into the FICA system.  Of course the FICA system could not know about the sales order etc - so limited research abilities would exist.
For the second question, that would only function in a single system scenario, and yes the SD document flow would reflect its clearing status in FICA.
    regards,
    bill.

    Hi,
Maintain the following Accounting configuration for GRPO with Subtransaction type IP also. Since it is must from Budget 2005-06 onwards.
    - SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Account Determination > Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction
    - SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Account Determination > Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction

  • Billing document number based on plant

Hi friends, I have new requirement from customer
Billing document number should be based on plant
Ex: Range start from 900000 u2013 for plant ABC1
Range start from 800000 u2013 for plant  ABC2
    How to achive this
    regards
    Satish

Create a zee table say ZV_NUMRANGE for the combination of plant, billing type & number range object.  There maintain some objects according to plant and save.
Next go to VN01 and maintain number ranges according to requirement and save.
Finally apply USEREXIT_NUMBER_RANGE (Module pool SAPLV60A, program RV60AFZZ) and trigger the above table as and when VF01 or VF04 is executed.
    thanks

    <b>Plants abroad:</b> Sales-specific settings
    Description
If plants exist abroad for a company, i.e. in the same company code, (within the EU), the tax postings and the trade statistics for the goods flow between these plants are required for (INTRASTAT) internal EU trades statistics. In SD, this applies to replenishment and consignment.
You can meet these requirements by carrying out billing with special settings in pricing for the relevant transactions:
Because the INTRASTAT declarations were created using billing documents and the tax postings were created using financial accounting documents, billing documents are created for consignment fill-ups or pick-ups and replenishment deliveries although they are not relevant for billing. However, because there are no amounts the billing document has a total value of 0, obtained using a special pricing procedure (see below). INTRASTAT declarations and tax postings (the billing document is forwarded to FI) are created based on the resulting billing documents.
Do not make these settings if the plant abroad is not in the EU. All that is required is a pro-forma invoice.
    Change system parameters in customizing
You can find Customizing for 'Plants abroad' in the IMG via 'Sales and Distribution/Basic functions/Taxes/Plants abroad "Plants abroad".)
A special pricing procedure (RVWIA1) is assigned to the new billing document (billing type WIA) defined for replenishment deliveries and consignments between EU countries. This pricing procedure has the following structure:
          1. Pricing condition (PR00)
          2. Input tax in destination country (based on pricing condition)
          3. Output tax in country of departure (that is, 0% on deliveries within the EU)
          4. 100% discount R100 (based on pricing condition)
          5. Output tax in destination country (based on the 100% discount)
This causes the total value of the billing document to be 0. The discount annulls the price. Input and output tax have the same percentage rate so that the total of the tax posting is zero and the total billing document has value 0.
    Changes to the interface
    Stock transfer
Replenishment deliveries between different EU countries are relevant for billing. The billing status is A.
The origin of the VAT registration number (billing header) has a new value: J
    Consignment fill-up / pickup
Consignment fill-ups / pickups between different EU countries are relevant for billing. The billing status is A.
The origin of the VAT registration number (billing header) has a new value: J
During consignment fill-up, the coutry of the ship-to party is now used as the departure country country for tax determination.
    Changes in procedure
Deliveries that occur as a result of a stock transfer order, can be billed if the delivering and receiving plants are in different EU countries and belong to the same company code.
Consignment fill-ups and pickups can be billed if the delivering plant is in an EU country and the consignment stores are in a different EU country. The consignment fill-up is then no longer relevant for the INTRASTAT declaration.
Condition records must be created for tax conditions WIA1, WIA2, and WIA3.
          1. WIA1: Input tax in country of destination.
The tax code for the tax determination procedure of departure country must agree with the tax code of the country of the company code. This is because the tax code is accessed via the company code country during forwarding to FI. The field 'reporting country' (that is - country of destination) must be maintained in the characteristics of the tax code.
          2. WIA2: Output tax in the country of departure (0 % for EU-internal deliveries)
          3. WIA3: Output tax in country of destination.
The tax code for the tax determination procedure of departure country must agree with the tax code of the country of the company code. This is because the tax code is accessed via the company code country during forwarding to FI. The field 'reporting country' (that is - country of destination) must be maintained in the characteristics of the tax code.
The total of the taxes has a value of 0. The total of the billing document also has a value of 0. The price is reduced by 100% using discount R100.
    Procedure for removing dataset errors
    Note:
When you maintain the tax indicator, remember that the tax indicator must be maintained at the same time in different tax determination procedures, or that you have to create a general tax determination procedure containing the tax indicators of the different relevant countries.
    Please read the Release Note

  • Incorrect VAT determination in plants abroad

    Hi Experts,
I have problem regarding VAT determination in plants abroad documents. WIA 1/2/3 condition records are in placed, CTC and MTC are correct but in the intra EU acquisition is not being determined.
I checked the Pricing Analysis in billing document and based on my investigation system is getting wrong tax category. For example, in the customer master there are two tax category; LCFR and MWST. System is looking for LCFR with tax classification (0 – do not check license) but it should pick MWST with tax classification (1 – Liable/Established) instead.
My question is how tax category is being determined in the transfer of own goods?
Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Stock Transport in Plants Abroad and Tax Reporting

    Hello,
We have Plants Abroad and we need to account stock transports between
our plants abroad. We have defined a billing document type for
determining taxes for plants that are abroad, so it appears on Tax
Report and EC Sales List. The issue is that, although the customer
name appears on the billing document, as the stock transport is between
plants of the same society, it does not appear on the accounting
document. So it does not appear on the Tax Report or EC Sales List
neither and this field is necessary for the reporting (but the CIF number appears correctly).
Can anyone help me in this issue?
    Thank you,
    Silvia

    Hi Silvia
If my understanding is correct, you need to generate a report wherein it should show abroad plant wise items sent and quantity.
For this, the material movement should have been 631 and to track the despatch details, goto MB51 and give the movement type in the "Movement Type" field and execute.
    Thanks

  • Plants Abroad

    I have the following scenario:
1 There is a company situated in US and have two plants in Mexico. These two plants in Mx do the assembling job for back to back exports. There is a small local sales component from these two components. Appreciate whether I can treat these two plants are Plants Abroad.
2 Another scenario is similar to the above. A company is situated in one of the EU, and they have plants located in other countries in EU and have different VAT #. For the Org Structure, Do I need to create this plants abroad or it will be sufficient to create these plants as 2 legal entities. I am a bit confused about the language use in SAP documentation which is reproduced below:
This procedure simplifies the process of making tax returns for companies with several plants or warehouses abroad. Note that these are not real operation centers abroad; you would have to create separate company codes for these.
You should only use this function if you have several warehouses, distribution centers, or plants abroad.
If however, you only have individual warehouses abroad for example, you should set up a separate company code for each warehouse. Otherwise the functions and scope of the Customizing settings for plants abroad would be too complicated for a single entity abroad.
    Appreciate your inputs
    BR

    Dear Sivakkumar,
we have implemented the Plant Abroad function for two of our plants in the EU.
This function is highly integrated in nearly all SAP Functions (has impact in Sales/FI/MM and even Travel Management u2013 through Accounting Interface in this case Note: only one Accounting Document is able to have one Tax Code with the same Tax Country when a customer or vendor is involved SAP has not provided a proper solution for this so far-  that means doc. splitt)
So when you activate this function you will get a new dimension in the Tax Codes (FTXP) so you have to assign all your Tax codes to a country code and only the u201Cnew onesu201D you would like to use for  e.g. Consignment Stock Process you have to assign to the other country e.g. Mexico.
The same step you have to do for the Tax Calculation Schema for the receiver Country e.g. Mexico or you have the same Tax calculation Schema for both countries but this could not be the case for US/MX.
If you do not assign all Tax Codes to a country you have to switch the country code at tax code level for nearly all postings.
e.g if you have an Invoice scanning solution for the  MIRO in place you should also check this carefully.
Further on, when you activate this function you will get new visible fields on the T005 view (not table) because some customizing settings will move from the company code settings to the country specific settings.
However we use Plants Abroad mainly for the consignment stock delivery to our foreign u201Cvirtual plantu201D in the EU Countries where we have an EC Registration., so we can fulfil all Tax Reporting issues (EC Sales List, Intrastat Declaration and Tax Return Statements) without any problem and without to set up company codes etc. (simplified solution)
But I assume this function was mainly developed for the EU market and I am unfortunately not a Tax Expert on the legal Tax and Reporting Rules between US and Mexico. But as you already mentioned, nearly all Documentation (OSS,Saphelp etc.) on this topic refer to EU market. So I guess this is maybe not the usable way for your case.
See also the links below or check SE61 for WIA or check the heaps of OSS Notes (also with posting examples)

  • Need Single Billing Document for Materials and Services in Sales Order

    Hello Friends,
I am selling FERT items and DIEN items in the Sales Order.
    Document flow as follows:
    Finished goods - Order-Delivery-Billing
    Services - Order-Billing
In this process 2 seperate billing documents are created
    i.  Delivery Related Billing document for Finished goods.
ii. Order related Billing document for services.
I want to create a single billing document for both the items (FG & Services) in the sales order.
    Please suggest.
    Thnx.

    Sorry for the delay friends.
Somebody suggested me to make services 'relevant for delivery' to ensure single billing document.
What I did were the following steps:
    1. Copy Item Category TAD to ZTAD and make is 'relevant foir delivery'
    2. Assign Item Category ZTAD to Sales Order type and Item Cat Group 'LEIS'
    3. Go to Deliveries Item Categories and through new Entries add ZTAD. Make ZTAD relevant for Picking.
    4. Go to copy control 'Order to Delivery' and insert ZTAD in Item Categories relevant for this combination.
Now when I create sales order with materials and services, they pass over to the delivery document and in the Services item, storage location/plant is greyed out. Only the picking quantity is required to be filled.
    PROBLEM :
I am not getting the price of Services item in the billing document.
Billing document copies all line items (tangible and intangible) from Delivery Document
It takes the services item details/quantities etc. to VF01 but the price comes '00.00'
    Any suggestions.
Is this legally viable? Someone told me its not legally correct.
    Thanks.

  • Print Excise invoice in Series grp 111 using J1IP for Billing document 1234

    Dear Gurus,
I have an issue in which I create Sales Document>>Delivery Document and after that if I save my Billing Document a message pops up like:
Print Excise invoice in Series grp 111 using J1IP for Billing document 12345
And Excise Invoice gets generated automatically without J1IIN, to which I can view in the display mode in J1IIN.
I wish to Create Excise Invoice by using T Code: J1IIN not automatically.
I have checked all the number ranges and search the forum extensively but couldnu2019t found a possible solution.
    Please help me!
    Regards,
    Ashu

    Hi,
    Create Excise Invoice Automatically
Instructs the system to automatically create an outgong excise invoice immediately you create a commercial invoice or a pro forma invoice.
The system creates the excise invoice in the background.
    Dependencies
If you want to make use of this function, you must also define the default plant, excise group, and series groups in Customizing for Excise Duty, by choosing Business Transactions -> Outgoing Excise Invoices -> Maintain Default Excise Groups and Series Groups
    SPRO>Logistics General>Tax on Goods Movement>India>Basic Settings-->Maintain Excise Groups.
Under the Outgoing Excise invoice tab there is a check box (Excise invoice during billing)

  • Different  Pricing Procedure for Sale order and Billing Document

    Hello Experts
As per scenario,we create Excise Invoice (T-Code J1IIN) on Basis of Proforma Invoice.Proforma Invoice and Excise Invoice follow Pricing from Sale Order.AS per pricing Some excise condition types are get update in Proforma and excise Invoice.
AS Per Customer Payment Confirmation we Create Export Billing Invoice (T-code VF01) on basis of Outbound delivery.
Issue -: AS per export Billing Rule we don't want to update Excise Condition type in Export Billing Document, and at same time it should not create any accounting entries for same condition type. we Dont want excise Duity in Export Billing Document as Export Billing Doccumnet aslo Follow Pricing procedure of Sale order
Should i create new Pricing procedure or what other things to solve above issue.
    Please help me out
    Thanks and Regards
    Pash@SD

    Hello,
The key to your requirement can be maintenance of Excise condition type with proper access sequence and accordingly maintain condition record for them.
You create an access sequence with following access:
    - Country / Plant / PlntRegion / Region / Price grp / Mat.pr.grp / Materia
    - Country / Plant / PlntRegion / Region / Price grp / Mat.pr.grp
    - Country / Plant / PlntRegion / Region / TaxCl1Cust / Mat.pr.grp
    - Country / Plant / PlntRegion / TaxCl1Cust / Mat.pr.grp
For export maintain condition record based on any key combination, say for
    Country / Plant / PlntRegion / TaxCl1Cust / Mat.pr.grp - Tax % - Tax Code
    FR / 1000 / KR / 03 (EXPORT) / 04 / 0% / V1
I hope this can assist you.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Error while billing document releasing to accounting.

    Hi Experts,
Please give me possible reasons for below error while billing document releasing to accounting.
"Valuation with material cost estimate: error with product "500258045"
    Message no. KE350
    Diagnosis
In Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), the system tried to valuate a line item using the current standard cost estimate.
In order to determine the current plan period, the system needs to read the valuation segment of the material master.
The system has found that the current plan period is not filled forproduct "BDE98561002" in plant "9856".
    Display material (View: Costing)
The system looked for the material cost estimate using costing key "ZK1", as defined in the Customizing settings for CO-PA.
    System Response
    The document cannot be processed.
    Procedure
    Contact your system administrator".
I have checked CKR1 transaction there were no cost estimates with KF costing status.
    NOTE: Material Ledger Activated.
Please suggest the possible reasons and what to check?
    Regards
    Chandra.

Check the cost estimate that is mentioned against the Costing key ZK1 whether it exists in the system and as you are saying there seems to be no cost estimate for the said material.
Hence release the std cost estimate for the said materia using CK11n or CK40n
