Button Display, putting buttons on new line?

I have four buttons at the bottom of a page and am trying to be able to "stack" the buttons so that there are two lines of two. Using items there is the start on new line, but not for buttons. Is there a way to stack buttons, or get some to start on a new line without creating a new region?

Buttons can be displayed by position (above or below), but this will not let you stack them. You can display buttons in "template positions". So you can control #EDIT#, #CREATE# positions in region templates, and you can assign buttons to display in the the template positions. Thus with the template you can get exact control.

On my web dynpro screen there is one button add when i click on add button a new line inserted in table .After empty row insertion i am putting the values in the table on selecting drop down list by key .Two field coln selected correctly but when i am selecting third coln i am getting error" The Entered Value Is Not on the List of Valid Values. "
I am not able to find where i am wrong.

Unwanted field validation when adding new line to ALV (ABAP OO)

Hi,
We are using OO Controls to create an editable ALV grid, whose structure contains debit/credit indicator.
When we click on the standard add new line button, a new line is added but an error message appears telling the user to enter a valid credit/ debit indicator (of course it is blank in the new line).
This is annoying for users - is there any way to suppress this when....but just when a new line is being created?

Debug and find out what is the sy-ucomm when you add a new line in the ALV. And then In the validation of "enter a valid credit/ debit indicator " put a IF condition to check the if the SY-ucomm is not for inseting new line.

Can it be done using BAPI_REQUISITION_CHANGE; if yes, then how do I pass the parameters into the BAPI tables..?

I want to update the table EBAN, so should I use the parameter table XEBAN to put in the new line item and then execute..
Also to fill up this table I need to pass certain value, so can I use BAPI_REQUISITON_GETDETAIL and pass the same details as found from the same BAPI and create a new line item...

Issue with creating a new line in Glossary widget

I'm using Captivate 6 and have an issue with trying to display text on a new line in the description field of the Glossary widget. In playback, a carriage return displays as \n
I read in another discussion (from early last year), that this issue had been resolved and that the fix would be shared soon on the captivate blog for non-subscription users. Does anyone know if the fix has been shared yet - I can't find it anywhere?

Extract the zip file to your desktop.
Copy "08_Glossary.wdgt" from the extracted zip file.
Go to : C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 6 (32 Bit)\Gallery\Interactions (For 32 bit Captivate) or C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 6 (64 Bit)\Gallery\Interactions (For 64 bit Captivate).
Replace the glossary widget in the interaction folder. Restart Captivate 6. (Make sure that you take the backup of the original Glosarry Widget)
Apply the widget again and check for the issue.

I am picking up a value from resouce bundle for output text component.
I wish to display data in output text component to display data after a new line.

The issue is resolved now.
I have changed the escape property of output text component. to false so as to avoid the being HTML-escaped. and at the value level have used like
<af:outputText value="#{XX.YOUR_REQUEST_HAS_BEEN_SUBMITTE} #{XX.YOUR_REQUEST_HAS_BEEN_SUBMITTE1}"
id="ot10" escape="false"/>
Where XX.YOUR_REQUEST_HAS_BEEN_SUBMITTE=Value1 and YOUR_REQUEST_HAS_BEEN_SUBMITTE1=Value2 in my resource bundle file.
Output is coming as
Value1
Value2
Does any one know how can i mark it as correct , can't see it after the forums upgrade to new one.

So, whenevr you will click Insertrow button it will be triggered in your User Command and then just Append the blank line in your Final Internal Table.
And Refresh Icon will be there by default...

The bookmarks toolbar is there but has no item buttons on it. How do I get the items back for this toolbar? Also would like to know if the toolbars can be put on the same line to make more room on the page (drag & drop) ??

Check that you still have the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* Make sure that you have the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
* Check in "View > Toolbars > Customize" that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize window onto the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" then click the "Restore Default Set" button
You can only move the content from a toolbar onto other toolbars if all toolbars support that feature. You need to check that in the options of each toolbar.

i replicated issue , and \n is not affective. So i guess what option you can try is to keep text small and use Alt to show full text.

My problem is that when I have a long text, it is displayed in one ligne so the button get larger. I do not want my button to get larger it has to keep the initila size (my button is an image). I want indeed to display the text in multiple lines rather than only one.
How to do this?

While using <af:validateLongRange> tag we need to display message in a well formatted way, we have to display each statement in a new line.For eg. : message as displayed by property 'messageDetailNotInRange' must come in three different new lines not as a continuous statement.I tried inserting '\n' escape sequence for new line, but it dint work.I tried spacing the statements but that also is not working out.
Any idea how can we get this message displayed separately in three rows rather than in a continuous statement ?

It dint insert line breaks in the message.Do i need to write it differently?
Above html code is modified once i posted it, it has inserted line breaks here for the br tag i added , but in my actual .jsff page it did not . I can only see br tag displayed as part of message and no new line got inserted.
I dont see an option to attach a file with the post so that I can show the code to you.
