Button Hit Animation Not completing

So when I click on a button I want a little explosion to happen in the button, where it shatters out. I have created the animation, however when i click the button i only see the animation for a second because it gets cut off by the button over. How do i make it so when there is a click, the button hit animation completes before any other button action can take place?

You use actionscript to control how the button behaves. Assign event listeners for the different mouse interactions you wish to respond to and configure the event handler functions of those listeners to do the things you describe... play a sound or show an animation or both.
If you need help figuring out how to use movieclips as buttons you should search Google using terms like "AS3 movieclip buttons tutorial" and similar terms.

Simple Button Hit Zone not working

I am somewhat new to Flash CS4 andt am having a problem making simple buttons in Flash CS4 on a Macintosh: I have made a few buttons with a graphic and can go into them and successfully create the Up, Over and Down stages of the graphic. Then when I create a new box for the hit state (which is larger than the graphic and I have deleted the graphic itself from the hit state) it doesn't want to appear correctly when I test the movie. When I test the movie, the hit state is correct everywhere around the graphic (to the bounds of my hit state box), but is not active where the graphic is. When I go under the Control menu, down to Enable Simple Buttons, the hit zone looks great right in my Flash file, but when I preview it or publish it and look it on different browsers (PC and Mac), I don't get my pointer right over the actual graphic, but get it everywhere around the graphic to the boundaries of my hit box. Why can't I get the actual graphic to be a hot spot in this situation? I have tried leaving the graphic in the hit timeline, and tried putting both the larger box and the graphic in the hit timeline, and still can't get them to respond correctly with the pointer in the browser window. Well, since the graphic itself doesn't activate my pointer in a web browser, I thought maybe I needed to add both the box and the graphic itself to the hit state. That's what has me puzzled - the box that I use for the hit zone is "active" everywhere but where the actual graphic is...

Hi, I made a few buttons for my .fla and all the states are working but the hit state.
So just to see what the problem was I made a new button, which is only text at each stage, so for up i wrote up, down down etc,
all the states work but hit, what gives???

Nope. Hit is the shape that will trigger a rollover/click area.
Normally the hit state is determined by the artwork in the up state and then the over state once you've rolled over, but sometimes you need to override that with an area different area. That is the hit state. But you don't need to put anything there.
Test it out. Make a circle on the other states and then put a larger square in the hit. Then check out how it works.

Cannot allocate new log, sequence Checkpoint not complete

Hi,
Im having very frequent log switches and Im getting error as
" cannot allocate new log, sequence Checkpoint not complete"
I was having 3 redo log groups with 50 MB each. After I found this error in the alert log; I increased teh number of redo log groups to 6 with 50MB each. Still the issue is not getting resolved.
Please suggest what will be the best solution for this.

I was a little surprised when I read that posting - but noticed it was dated May 2000 - when databases were still quite small and less busy. (And Tom suggested 25MB as being "modest" rather than "tiny" - which is probably what many people would call 25MB these days). And May 2000 probably means 8.0 or 8.1 - and the whole log buffer, redo generation, checkpointing technology has changed a lot since then.
Basically, if you hit "checkpoint not complete", you need more online log space so that it's possible during the busiest times to keep generating redo log information while the checkpoint queues are being cleared far enough to allow older log files to be recycled.
You can do this by adding more log files, or by increasing the sizes of the log files you use. Tom's point, I think, was that if you chose the option to add more files and kept them small (or even made them smaller) then the volume of dirty data blocks that you could create while filling a log file would be small, so the database writer wouldn't have to do much work to make each log file available for re-use. (I'm not sure I'd agree with the approach, though - even for 8i - because it could easily lead to an increase in the volume of datablocks written, even if it did bypass the checkpoint issue).

Billing button appear even not GI and confirm....

Current, i'm facing problem that the the billing document button will appear even the GI button and released not completed if have more than 1 job in the service order (DBM module).
If only have i job...the action control is smooth.
I try to do config but still failed. hence, appreaciated that somebody can help me to resolved my problem....

Goto VTFA, Select the line and double click on items.
Select the item and choose details.

1. If you are really on iOS 7.1, you may wish to try upgrading to 8.1.2 which is the latest (basing this on your signature).
2. If updating the phone doesn't help, is this only when you connect to a specific wifi network? Or all wifi networks (including public with no password)? If it is ALL wifi networks, you may have a hardware problem. Genius bar would be the next step.

Delete some apps, files, photos, videos, movies, etc to free up some space.
How much space is your Other using? You may be able to reduce.

Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar top of your screen click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy / paste: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
Click Go then move the NetworkInterfaces.plist file from the SystemConfiguration folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store. Try purchasing Mountain Lion.

That's an error from the OS leaking into Photoshop. It is due to a bug in MacOS 10.10 that occurs in the open and save dialogs (which are controlled by the OS). Apple is aware of this and working on solutions.
Some people have had luck changing the view in the open/save dialogs to grid view or list view.

It sounds like your iPad will not turn on. Take a look at the iPhone article linked below, it provides tips that will help resolve power issues for both iPhones and iPads.

RealPlayer can cause conflicts with Flash Player because it tries to assign EVERY TYPE of video or audio file to itself by default. I haven't used RealPlayer in years for that reason. It's an unnecessary program anymore. There are apps loike VLC media player that cna do EVERYTHING it does without conflicting with other apps like Flash Player.
With WIndows 8, Microsoft began embedding FlashPlayer themselves into Internet Explorer. Because of that, you cannot download and install it from here. You cannot uninstall it from Internet Explorer without removing a specific Windows Update first. And you cannot update it via this website. ONLY through Windows Update can Flash Player for Internet Explorer be updated.
That said, you probably DON'T have a virus that's causing the problems with Flash Player and Internet Explorer. Many, many websites are not "recognizing" the browser.
This is a known problem with Internet Explorer 11, which Microsoft has been aware of since October 18 when they released IE11 The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player.
So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.
Firefox (from Mozilla)
Opera (from Opera)
Safari (from Apple)
Chrome (from Google)
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.

Hi SDN,
we are on ECC 6.0 (WAS 700).
I have created a quite big webform, containing all kinds of form-elements, inputs, text, radios, checkboxes, selects...
I also have 4 Buttons which trigger different actions.
Unfortunately I can't write the code here, because I always get "method not implemented" Errors - so I describe, what I do:
during "onInputProcessing" I get the Button event "click"
This usually works fine. But I notice, that sometimes (not always), the onInputProcessing does not run at all. Then I can hit eg the "send" Button and nothing happens except the form gets cleared, which is really annoying if you have filled a lot of fields. I have the impression, that sometimes the page is not really in focus. When setting a breakpoint in onInputProcessing it always worked fine yet... maybe accidentally... so I can't find any rule here.
This does not happen only when the page is loaded the first time but also, when having sent the form and doing another form afterwards.
Does anybody have any idea about this misbehaviour?

thanks Stefan for the hint with the "request->get_form_fields" method.
In fact now my problem returned - and I can't really tell why.
The get_form_fields displays:

But sometimes no server roundtrip happens at all. I can throw in a breakpoint in onInputProcessing and sometimes it is being ignored. Still the effect of such an ignored button click is, that the form itself gets cleared - so it's just like calling the whole page once again. This is really annoying, and I can't fgure out, why this is so unreliable.
What I do in onInputProcessing is this:
CLEAR l_ev_butt.
event = cl_htmlb_manager=>get_event( runtime->server->request ).

HT4061 Ios7.04 update to ipad2. Will not let me continue the set up after trying to join a wifi network. Cannot cancel or start again. Cannot even switch off iPad. If you hold home button it says setup not complete continue? But it will not let me continu

Update to iOS 7.04 on ipad2. The set up screen appears but it will not let me continue the set up. It will not let me get to the next screen after choose wifi network. It is if I am stuck on the choose wifi network page. Cannot cancel or continue. Cannot switch it off. Holding home button brings set up is not complete message. But it won't let me continue. Please help. What else an I try to get through the set up?

"could not complete your request because the disk is full"

I have Photoshop Elements 3 on an older desktop I use for editing photos. Yesterday, I tried to pull up a photo from my connected camera to the PE3 window and got the following error mesaage instead: "could not complete your request because the disk is full."
I have researched the Online help and Forum but can not seem to find a solution to this problem. I have gone through the Edit -> Preferences -> Memory & Image Cache, I have reset all the options there, increased the memory available to PE3 and, have uninstalled and re-installed the program without luck. I also deframented my unit but the issue persists. I now find that I also can not load photos that are already saved on my hard drive as well.
I am running a P4 system with 1GB of RAM, 52GB of free space, and XP Pro. The only changes made to this unit recently is the installation of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012. I would greatly appreciate any insight I can get on this problem. Thanks.

Are you able to get the files on to your hard drive using a card reader? You can the use the Organizer menu, File à Get Photos à from Files & Folders.
The only other suggestion I can make is to try closing other processes running in the background. You do that by launching the task manager (press Ctrl+Alt+Delete)
Go to the processes tab and then highlight individual programs and tasks and hit the end process button. Then launch Elements again. Also try temporarily disabling your internet security and see if that makes any difference.
