C# AxAcroPDF looses file

Hi,
i'm using the AxAcroPDF COM-Control in a C# (.NET 4.0) environment. It's loaded at runtime into a parent form, so i can check if the Adobe Reader is installed before im using it. Everytime i call parentform.Hide() and parentform.Show() the Adobe control looses the acutal shown document.
A little expample:
1. Add control to parent form - parentform.Controls.Add(axacropdf);
If the Adobe X Reader is installed the background is gray. Im using the an older version. So the background is white.
2. Load document - axacropdf.LoadFile("D:\\example.pdf");
The document is displayed correctly.
3. Hide parent form - parentform.Hide();
4. Show parent form - parentform.Show();
The document is gone. But axacropdf.src says that D:\\example.pdf is displayed.
The only way to show the document again, is to reload it. Any other try failed (Refresh(), ResumeLayout(true),  ...). On a testsystem with Adobe X Reader installed it's the same.
Has somebody an idea why this problem occurs?

Why not call Hide & Show on the AxAcroPDF itself?
