C100 Data Import Utility - download where?

Hi there!
I lost the DVD that came with my C100. Can I download the Data Import Utility somewhere? I can't seem to find it anywhere on Canon's pages...

Hi o-shows!
Thanks for posting.
The Data Import Utility is licensed software provided by the Pixela Corporation.  They have it available on their website for download.  Clicking HERE will take you to the download page.  There is a download link at the bottom of the page you can click after reading over the instructions.

  • Canon's Data Import Utility C100

Does anyone know where to download C100 Data Import Utility for C100? I just bought a used c100 that did not come with the disc and hoping to find out how to order a new one or if there is a download somewhere. Anybody out there think this is a must or can bypass with something like clipwrapper?

So I found a simple work around.  I was having dificualty only downloading the VIDEO files, with no AUDIO becuase they are stored in 2 separt folders when recorded to the SD card from the c100.  All you need to do is
sd > card reader > computer > [open folder via my computer]
EOS CANON C100 > PRIVATE > AVCHD >  BDMV >  STREAM (video files)
                                                                                        >  CLIPINF (enables audio files to be interpreted in NLE's)
****STREAM (contains video file copy them to a new folder on your hard drive.  Then the tricky part,  also open the folder CLIPINF this folder holds files with the extension .CPI  select all those and copy into the same folder you created for the video files.  Then simply import the video files into a NLE's such as Premier Pro then your good to go!
Took me about an hour of frustration then I went back and just opened all the folders. Trial and error = Knowledge!
    Enjoy hope this helps

  • Syntax for datapump import utility (If data exists ignore table.)

I am trying to import 2 DMP files of the same schema with different data in the tables. The first one has half the tables filled with data from one subject area and the other dmp files has data from another subject area. Is there a syntax in the import utility which if data exists in a table ignore or skip it?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
Is there a syntax in the import utility which if data exists in a table ignore or skip it?You have the Parameter TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION = SKIP :
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e16536/dp_import.htm#SUTIL936
But it let the Table as is. If a Table is empty it will stay empty.

  • Once my pictures are imported by iPhoto, where are they on my hard-drive?

Once my pictures are imported by iPhoto, where are they on my hard-drive?

    You don't go that way.
iPhoto is a database, and you need to use the tools provided to access the data:
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto:   You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps.  If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running:
For users of 10.6 and later:  You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation  which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and 10.5 Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
    Other options include:
Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
Show File:  a. On iPhoto 09 and earlier:  Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.    3.b.
b: On iPhoto 11 and later: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.

    Hello:
The Oracle Data Pump utility is now the preferred tool to use to import and export data and metadata from an Oracle database. Oracle Data Pump provides capabilities that far exceed those provided by the older imp/exp programs. Further, in addition to command line invocation of the tool, Oracle Data Pump has a set of pl/sql APIs (DBMS_DATAPUMP) that will let you do import and exports from pl/sql. You can therefore easily set up an APEX page that will accept a bunch of parameters and execute the appropriate procedures within DBMS_DATAPUMP to do the export/import.

  • Configuring DIMP(Data Import) in POS,BO

    Hi ,
I need more details about how DIMP (Data Import) works in Oracle Store Solutions (OPOS , BO and CO)
    How to configure DIMP ?
How to get the foundation data (Country , Currency etc .) to OPOS ?
The implementation giude and configuration guide is not completely explaining about this.
    Any help/suggestion ??

OK, How about these Metalink Notes:
    - Subject: How To Setup Base Currency In Store Inventory Management (SIM) And Retail Point Of Sales (RPOS) Systems? - Doc ID: NOTE:415454.1
    - Subject: Promotion Detail Flow From Retail Merchandising System (RMS) to Retail Point Of Sales (RPOS) System In RPOS 11 - Doc ID: NOTE:444512.1

    - Subject: How To Setup Dataimport with Oracle BackOffice and Oracle CentralOffice - Doc ID: NOTE:559574.1
SIM is involved here and there for the integration between RMS->RIB->SIM->POS.
In http://download.oracle.com/docs/cdE12522_01/strategic_store_solutions/pdf/130/sss-130-imp.pdf there is much about how to use and configure DIMP.
It consumes flatfile downloads from e.g. RMS and/or RPM, and those should be offered as so-called bundles.
But I guess you already know all of this...

  • Use of ODI in Data Import scenario

    Hi,
We are contemplating to use ODI for a Data Import scenario. The flow goes something like this:
1.A user specified flat file or xml with a mapping between the file columns and base table columns serves as the input.
(Note that the file column names could be anything and that is why we use mapping).
    2. This file data is stored in a stager table and certain validations are run on this data.
    3. This data is then imported into the base tables.
I assume we cannot use ODI for step 1 as the file columns are not fixed and can vary. We need to programmatically interpret the data from the mappings. (Is there a way to do this in ODI?).
If we use ODI for step 3 to import data from stager to base tables:
    - If we have a million records to be imported, then how performant is ODI? Do we need to invoke ODI in batches of (a few thousands) to improve performance?
    - Thanks in Advance,
    Raghu

    Hi Jont,
    Thanks for your reply..
Here is an example of the mapping that we use:
    Flat File columns:
    AccName
    AccLoc
Mapping (Specified by the user at run time):
    AccName -->(Maps to) Account.Name
    AccLoc --> (Maps to) Account.Location
The user would map the file columns to the final target entity fields (like Account.Name) as above.
Since, we have to store this data in a intermediate staging table, we would have a mapping internally (which is fixed), like
    Account.Name -->(maps to) AccStager.Name
    Account.Location -->(Maps to) AccStager.Location
where AccStager.Name is the staging table field name.
Thus, by using these two sets of mapping, we store the file data into staging table.
    Hope this is clear...
    Thanks,
    Raghuveer

  • Reset sequence after data import

    Hi all,
I've got a problem where we import data into a table with an auto-incremented field for a primary key. After the data import, I can drop the sequence, check the max(primary key), and re-create it to start at the max value + 1. My problem is that I need to do this for a large number of tables and don't know how to write a script to do it. In the Create Sequence command, whenever I try to use a variable in the "START WITH" clause, I get an error.
    Thanks in advance,
    Raymond

Spool sequence creation scipt result in a file and then run it.
    Or use dynamic sql.
Or You can "drive" sequence forward issuing select myseq.nextval from dual; apropriate times. If You need "drive" sequence backwards alter it with increment -1, issue select myseq.nextval from dual; apropriate times and alter it with previous increment.

  • Problems with VLM Import Utility

    Hello!
We I are using NI Volume License Manager 3.0 together with NI Volume License Manager Import Utility for importing users data.
The problem is that we can't import .xml data into VLM when the user types his name into Full Name field and his name contains characters like ČŠĆŽĐ čšćžđ. These characters are not correctly written into .xml file with VLM Import Utility and we have to manually replace them with Microsoft Expression Web before we can load .xml file into VLM server.
Do you have better solution? Is there some new version of NI Volume License Manager Import Utility that correctly handles non English characters?
    Thank you

  • Import Utility Without Duplication

I planning to export one Schema from an Oracle database (let say DB1) and I want to import it into another Oracle database (let say DB2). However, DB2 already has the exported Schema along with its contents (Tables and its data/records), but the data/records in the Tables is/are old. Therefore I want to import the data from DB1 into DB2 while ensuring that there will be no duplication in DB2, is that possible?
The reason for that because the mentioned Schema contains more than 1000 tables and it will be a hassle for me clearing all corresponding tables in DB2 before using the import utility.
I am running Oracle 9i R2 on Windows 2000 Server for both DBs.

If data already exists at the target database, or at least the empty table, when you attempt to import to it you will receive duplicate rows since you must issue the import command with the IGNORE=Y clause.
You should clear all 1000 tables prior to performing the import, this is not a big deal, you don't have to manually do it, you can create a sql script out of sql to perform the truncate table command prior to performing the import.
One more option you have is to export with the query clause, if it is possible to find a key that let you find the subset of new rows at the source database, such as a primary key or an insert date column.
If you have primary keys on all target tables, then you can issue the import with the IGNORE=Y option, there will be plenty of errors at the time you perform the import, but these errors can be ignored as long as they refer to duplicated rows rejected by the primary key enforcement.
Another option is to evaluate using the merge command through db links.

  • Doubt on import utility

I want to export data from 10g release 2 database and import it into the 11g database . The database structure varies ie most of the schemas thati need to import are new ones which dont exist in the 11g database.
When I do a full database export from 10g db and then do a full database import into 11g db using datapump import I face many errors like
ORA-39083: Object type OBJECT_GRANT failed to create with error:
ORA-01917: user or role 'SH' does not exist
    Failing sql is:
GRANT WRITE ON DIRECTORY "LOG_FILE_DIR" TO "SH"So should I create the users in the target db before running the import since there are hundereds of new users and creating users will be a hectic job or did i commit any mistake in running the import utility ?

  • Data import/update on Custom Objects

    Hi,
We are using the Custom Object1 for capturing site data within an opportunity. Since the custom object does not have capability to check for duplicates, the users have now entered data into this object which have lot of duplicates and also the data quality and integrity is lost. I am trying to see if there is an option to export this data and reimport them back after cleansing the data.
I then realised while importing custom objects, the only available option is to use external id.All the site that have been entered by the users do not have any external unique id. Also there is no option to do a mass delete records within the custom object1.
I understand that the only option to cleanse and reimport them back into ondemand is using web services. I want to use web services as last option.
Is there any other option to reimport them back into ondemand using the import utility after cleansing the data.
I would like to know what is the best practice while using custom objects. Is it advisable to populate a default value in the external unique id for custom objects while creating new records. If i had populated some value in the external unique ids while creating those records, i would have had the option to update the existing records. Now i don't even that option.
I am looking for some suggestions for this issue.
    Thanks
    Swami

    Bobb,
I exported the data and mapped the row id to the external unique id. Like i said before, the external id is blank in crm ondemand when it is created. We did not have any default value specified for the external unique id.
When i tried to import with overwrite option, it does not find a match.
I get the following error message as i expected.
Row Id: AEMA-EYGFE     No matching record has been found. The import process will ignore this record.
Row Id: AEMA-F8CPC     No matching record has been found. The import process will ignore this record.
Row Id: AEMA-12CLIA     No matching record has been found. The import process will ignore this record.
Unless i do a web service update of External Unique ID in crm ondemand, the import option will not work.
    Thanks
    Swami
