It sounds like your phone is not recognzied in iTunes anymore. I recommend the troubleshooting steps from the article named:

Here is an overview of the troubleshooting to be done:
1. Update iTunes
2. Check the USB cable
3. Verify that Apple Mobile Device Support is installed
4. Restart the Apple Mobile Device Service
5. Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed
6. Check for third-party software conflicts
If the issue persists, try uninstalling iTunes and its associated apps with either of these two articles depending on your operating system version and its associated softwares:

But I am able to use data on other phone.

New software update for iPod touch 4th generation? PLEASE HELP!!

Ok so here is the problem: I have the iPod touch 4th generation with software version 4.3 (I have had my iPod for about 7 months) and recently within the past week or so I have started experiencing multiple crashes with many different various apps and games. Just random games crashing and then I noticed it happening with the Facebook app and even Safari on my iPod! I had to get off of my iPod and come on the computer to type this message out because Safari would crash every single time I tried to type this on my iPod! So at first I figured it was the apps and games' problems, but then as more and more began to crash, like Facebook and Safari, I figured it is the Apple software version 4.3 acting up. So I was wondering, is Apple working on a new software update for iPod touch 4th gen.? Or is this a rare problem? Is there anyone out there having this same problem? Or anyone at all that can PLEASE help me?! MANY THANKS!

No one would know what Apple is working on, unless they announce, which they very rarely do.
Have you tried the basics from the manual?
restart.
reset.
restore.

That is not what it says. Read the message again. It's telling you it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode and it must be restored.

If your iMac is an Intel iMac, UPGRADING your OS X version involves paying for the next UPGRADE level .
You maybe able to purchase and upgrade your OS X version to OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.

Install RAC 11gR2 and Apply Patches with OUI New Software Updates Option

Has anyone tried the installation with the New Software Updates Option?
I will install 11gR2 RAC Grid and I plan to do the following steps:
1) Install Oracle Grid Infrastructure Patchset 11.2.0.2
2) Do all the configuration with OUI
3) Create ASM disks
4) Install Oracle Database 11.2.0.2 Software Only
5) Apply Oracle Recommended Patches 11.2.0.2.2 (12311357) and 12431716. (ref. MOS doc [ID 756671.1])
6) Create RAC Database (advanced option) with DBCA
With these steps:
Grid and ASM disks would be configured without the recommended patches, but the database will be created with the patches applied.
I would not like to do a "Software only" install of GI and then apply the patches because later I would have to manually do all the configuration steps.
If I use the OUI Software Updates Option to apply the patches, will OUI do all the patching and then let me configure GRID with OUI ?

which model MacBook Pro do you have, and which version of OS X is installed on it?

How do you close apps you hve looked at with the new software update?? You used to have to double click the home button and the apps would come up to delete bu that doesn't happen anymore.

The apps in the multitaskbar should appear like pages on the whole display. To close them, just swipe from the bottom to the top. you can select single apps for closing, when you swipe them like you would swipe your homescreens.

No. The problem is that when you changed Apple IDs you did not update your Apple ID to reflect the change, so your phone is still associated with the old ID. You will need to un-associate it. The update is currently temporarily available on via FOTA (and not via Nokia Suite). There was a small problem with automatic user data restore with Nokia Suite after the update, which is currently being investigating. If you already updated your device with Nokia Suite, you might have to trigger the userdata restore manually from "tools->restore".
