So 1 day uptime, that is much better. We rebooted it for mirroring setup, and found that cachefs needs to fsck before it comes up. Can I not simply have it start afresh rather than attempt to keep cache directory? (Obviously I can, but I mean in a boot-friendly manner)

Apple discontinued support for PowerPC apps with Lion, I think, so you're out of luck there. No patch coming, unfortunately. Best to upgrade whatever old applications you have or, since it seems like you're using some relatively old software, scout around for replacements that give you the functionality you need.
Go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Print & Scan and select your scanner from the list--if it's not there you'll need to add it (start with the little plus icon). Once you have it in the list you can click on the Open Scanner button and a pretty barebones scanner driver will load for you. But Image Capture (as mentioned previously), found in your Applications folder, will probably do the job as adequately, or better, than your old scanner software.

In Acrobat X for CS6 on a Windows7 64-bit won't open after update. Is there a patch because unistall/reinstall only lasts till the next update?

I have Acrobat X that came with my CS6 suite. It will work fine for a few months but when a new update comes along it won't open at all. Even turned off updates and its still happening. I have gone through the process in your FAQ: Update errors for Window Acrobrat about 3 times now (Uninstall and reinstall from disk). Is there a patch that I can load to have this stop happening? I am pretty much frustrated that I have to do this every two months.

we have very large application build using oracle forms 6i
(release 2) & reports 6i & Oracle Database as back-end server.
Now we want to port our application on sql server. Is there any
patch available , so that we don't have to change anything at
application level except connection string.

But we have to make lot of changes at application level.

Is there any patch which can make 8.2 to open Newer Version VI's

Hello All.
It becomes kind of a embarrasing when everytime some one gives u an 8.5 or 8.6 version VI then u have to make him save it in 8.2 form(That is the version im using). Sometimes it becomes even harder that u save a VI not realizing that its not of the version u r using. and in ur time when u open it up u find its not readable. Is there any patch for licensed users so that VI's of latest versions can be opened up in a previous version ?

When i said a "patch" i meant a file which if added up in the directory of the older version of my labview mite open up the files of a specific newer version. Maybe "patch" is not the correct word because it relays the message that maybe something is not complete. But then it is the standard vocabulary in my workplace for a file which is not part of the original pack but is added later on for some modification. No reference to Labview being incomplete was intended. Im sorry.
Moreover i get that "u" part Sir. I know ive been posting, using tweets, for some time now and it is definitely not the right thing to do specially in such a forum. I'll be careful in the future while posting. yoU wont See me with these "U's" and "Ur" again . Im sorry for any inconvenience caused.

If I understand correctly, then to add a new Section to a site, you have to subclass SubSection and somewhow integrate that into the system?
I would be my expectation that you only need to subclass SubSection when you tried to introduce a new type of SubSection.
The title & all other natural language Strings should never be hardcoded in Java code, but rather taken from some external storage (Database, XML, flat files, ...).

Is there a patch to enable Photoshop Elements 10 to import NEF images from a Nikon 7100?

I bought a Nikon 7100. The NEF files taken with the Nikon 7100 cannot be imported into the organizer. The error message is "the files selected to import did not contain any supported file types. The file is damaged or is in a format that cannot be included in Elements Organizer." The file is not damaged as the Nikon NX 2 program had no problem importing the images. Elements 10 was able to import raw NEF files from my D90 with no problem. Is there a patch to enable Elements 10 to recognize the format of Nikon 7100 raw NEF images? If not, is there another photoshop product that will import NEF images from a Nikon 7100?

For the 7100 PSE11 or PSE12 will work as support was added in ACR 7.4.

We've been working with Forms50 and Reports 25 under win95 for
quite a while and have noticed occasional problems:
- A program abort due to page fault protection under win95.For
example, R30DES32 : R30LIB.dll.
- You issue compile all and get and error that forms is not
able to go to (goto error button).
- A compile error that requires login in and out and
recompile to fix.
I wonder if
- there are any patches available for Dev 21,
- i have a memory shortage problem,
- these are (especially case 1) win95 problems.
Please help will be welcomed ................!

There is no difference in terms of usage and features between a trial version and a licensed version.
Could you tell me do you get any specific error message when it crashes, or does it crash while using a particular feature, or is it random?
Can you also try with a different user account (admin) on your MAC, check if it behaves same there?

The E-M1 was first supported by Camera Raw 8.3 which is only compatible with CS6 and CC. It is not compatible with CS5 or lower and never will be.

Join the Cloud
Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all the Raw E-M1 files to DNGs then edit the DNGs in CS5

BookCamp will not help
PowerPC is the processor that Apple used prior to switching to Intel. It is a very old version of Apple for which support has been dropped.
It is not Windows which is what BootCamp will allow you to install.

Yes. you should keep your media in iTunes, and indeed you should also keep a backup of your library as well. if you have the device set up for manual management then the content would remain on it when deleted from the library, but you would have no way to restore the device if there was a problem.
