Caching Problem Persists!
Sevearl weeks ago I posted a topic about having a probelm
with our help windows being recalled when a user would hit the back
button in their browser. I tried a quick fix by inserting a no
cache tag in each of the help pages I created but it did not work.
Our developer believe it has to do with one of the javascripts
automatically created by Robohelp. Does nayone know of this probelm
elsewhere, or how to fix it???

Close, here is my sequence:
1. I open the primary application, which runs in a Web
browser.
2. I click help, and a new browser window opens to show
WebHelp.
3. I read help topics, follow links, use the back button,
maybe use the TOC and index -- all the while, the primary
application window is still open in the background.
4. I close the HELP window and decide I need to go back in
the primary application
5. I click the back button in the browser and the HELP window
reopens!
We found a work around, where when you intiially click on the
HELP link it opens the help window, but it also opens a window that
runs in the background. When you close the help window, the
background window remains open, but now the user can navigat
backwards using the back button in the browser without any
problems. However there have been some bugs and issues with this
(the app opens the correct help window, but becomes confused and
redirects to another page..)

When I publish my site on one specific page where I've added {tag_pagecontent} I get the error:

I'm trying to get a blog module going, I've even deleted the html insert bog with the tag in and re-published which then I don't get the error but as a result no blog either. But then I add the tag in again and publish the error comes back. I've used the dev console and it says that my musicians sample.css is out of date but why is it only out of date when I add in html to my muse site?

Also I've noticed when I've re-published occasionally it will show the mobile version on my desktop and not the desktop version??? no idea why that's happening so I've had to turn that off. any explanation on why that is happening would also be much appreciated.I haven't received an answer as of yet, I'll post t on here when I do. I de-activated the mobile site because it's my clients site so he needs it to be operational during the day. I hope someone gives me an answer soon.

I've been building a site in Muse successfully until today when I get this error message in the browser, publishing to business catalyst as a test bed:
Some files on the server may be missing or incorrect. Clear browser cache and try again. If the problem persists please contact website author.
Clearing the cache has no effect and I have checked the assets and there are no error symbols. This happened after trying a google translate code in the <head> and a HTML snippet on the master template, I've since removed it but that the last action I took that I can think may have had an effect.
Viewing the source of the page in Safari hash;t helped other than it shows ALOT of html (including some elements i can;t relate to in my site design) and states there are three errors:

I started this site in Muse CC and then recently upgraded to Muse CC 2014, and I had install issues so deleted the original program (this then forced the download of the new version which was not automatically downloading even though CC notified me that an update was required.

AndrewSame problem here but it has nothing to do with a cellular connection.
Created the site http://www.blackdot.com in Muse 7.4.3 with no issues. Just updated the .muse file today to Muse CC 2014 and reloaded to our web server. Now I am getting the error "Some files on the server may be missing or incorrect." when viewing the site from the latest version of all browsers (Safari, Firefox, Chrome) on a Mac and all browsers on a PC (Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Explorer), also mobile Safari on an iPad.
My connection is wired broadband, not a mobile or wireless connection. I am not using the Muse "Upload to FTP host…" option and will not be using it. I am simply exporting as HTML and copying the files to my server. I have deleted all files from the web server and recopied the updated site with the same error result. This is the exact same procedure I used to load the initial site with the prior version of Muse.
It does not seem like there is an existing solution to this problem although many others are experiencing it. It looks like I will need to manually edit each page to remove the error message coding from the html files. Any tips on how to strip out the alert message from the html?
UPDATE
For anyone else experiencing this issue, I was able to edit the .html files for my site to remove the code responsible for this alert message. If you wish to edit your .html files you must make the same edit to every .html file in your site export including the top level "index.html" and all .html files inside the "tablet" and "phone" folders if you have them.
The coding to remove is at the bottom of each .html file:
(Muse.assets.outOfDate.length||Muse.assets.required.length)&&alert("Some files on the server may be missing or incorrect. Clear browser cache and try again. If the problem persists please contact website author.")
Make sure you do not remove any semicolons or braces {} when making this edit. Just remove the text shown above. You will obviously need to remake these edits if you export your site as HTML in the future. -

The troubleshooting guide refers to error numbers but none of the failures provide error numbers.Since you are experiencing the difficulty with multiple web browser then it would need to be caused by something global such as anti virus software. Any software which will affect your web browsers ability to accept cookies and secure connections could be causing the behavior you are experiencing.
I would also recommend clearing your cache and cookies if you have not done so already.
If you can please update this discussion with the software title and version of the software, affecting your ability to download Adobe software, it would be appreciated. -

OD Master and MCXD Cache Problem
Hi,
has someone an idea how to solve a mcxd Cache Problem?
Always when I sate up the OD Master after a new installation of Mac OSX 10.4.11 Server, I get the mcxd problem after the reboot. After the reboot I have always this massage, see system.log in our system.

It should be. However I've come across a similar situation. At a site I support the local admin was creating users and editing passwords on the Replica rather than the Master. He kept getting the usual "dsDirectoryetc" errors but he persisted and eventually got the settings to 'take'. Querying the databases on both Master and Replica produced similar results to yours. It was difficult then to go back to the Master and 'redo' properly what he'd done as he'd not kept track of the changes he made. To 'fix' I simply demoted/repromoted the Replica which worked for me. Although time will tell if it turns out to be a permanent fix?

Have you changed something on your SharePoint 2007 environment recently before this issue occurred?
This issue may be related to Alternate Access Mappings settings like the following similar post, if you have configured AAM, you can check if this issue happened to some URLs, if it's the case, please add the problematic URLs as a Publish URLs for the default
zone for your web application, and also add these URLs as trusted locations, then check results again.
If above doesn't work, please enable ULS log on verbose level to get more useful log errors which time are corresponding to the errors occur.

I have an Ipod video 30g that says Please wait very low battery. I charged it for about a day and the problem persists. I've tried using some solutions on the internet and none of them worked including: holding the menu and select, holding select and play to put it in disk mode with no avail. I upgraded to Firefox 5, then noticed when a window was open I couldn't launch another one. Or launch into Firefox off an email link. Or open a new window if there was none open.
So I downgraded back to 4. Problem persists.Uninstall the ones you know about, yes.
As regards the others, it's difficult to say. All you can do is to disable them all via Safe Mode (checkmark "Disable all add-ons", then "Make changes and restart") and then re-enable them one by one checking each time until the problem recurs. Laborious I know, but the only sound way of doing it I'm afraid. -

I'm posting this even though there are threads in the forum that I have
used and contributed to in the past on this topic.
The problem PERSISTS!
The problem/situation is that in mail from family/trusted friends, after I
open the mail, there is no "Load Images" warning at the top but an
animated .gif file is in the message! (don't get me wrong, i do sincerely
love dancing bears. i just want some warning.)
Any suggerstions?
In mail preferences,viewing I have unchecked "display images and embedded
objects in HTML messages".
In mail preferences,junkmail I have "enable junk mail filtering" and
"trust junk mail headers..." both checked.
All junk mail is flagged as junk. (in junkmail,advanced and in rules).
I keep the preview pane collapsed.
I pay attention to flags and don't open junk from strangers.

I can connect with my banking websites but the login page will not come up. This is a recent occurrence and I have done virus scans and have also recently done a clean instal of Windows 7. The problem persists. I can connect to any other website with no problems. When I close FF it appears to close and Task manager shows as not running but it will not reopen. If I attempt to uninstall I am told that FF is running and needs to be closed. I have to reboot to get to close and be able to reopen.
I can connect to the bank sites with IE. However I really don't like IE.
I am using Win7 Professional on a Sony notebook VGN SZ55I don't have an answer, but I experienced the same problems trying to set up an airport express to route traffic to my stereo.
Apple Extreme router, iMac and laptop all worked just fine for months, upon installing Airport Express (step by step, according to instructions), all **** broke loose. Airport Utility was unable to see my Airport Extreme router, after hours of rebooting computer, cable modem, router, and finally a hard reset of the Airport Extreme router, it is finally recognized by Airport Utility again.
Recreated network, iMac connects to the internet just fine, laptop (Macbook Air) connects to the network just fine, but will not connect to the internet. Network diagnostics does not help, it gets to the "do you have a router? If so, reboot" stage, and never seems to see the router.

i cannot open iphoto- the message I am getting says Shut down and restart your computer, and then open iPhoto again. If the problem persists, try rebuilding your photo library. To do this, quit iPhoto, and then reopen it while keeping the Option and Command-

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

According to your post, my understanding is that you failed to open external list.
Please change the External Content’s connection properties’ Authentication Mode to BDC identity.
Then launch the SharePoint 2013 Management Shell and run the PowerShell commands to remove the error.
