Calendar export doesn't work in IE

Hi,
Our clients use Internet Explorer and with the standard setting (menu Tools, Options, section Security) "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" marked it is not possible for users to make an export of their calendar with UWC.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem without unmark the setting "Do not save encrypted pages to disk"
We use messaging server version:
Sun Java(tm) System Messaging Server 6.2-8.02 (built Dec 21 2006)

Creating a keyboard shortcut for Calendar's Export- doesn't work

I created a keyboard shortcut in Calendar to easily export calendars (let say option-ctrl-E).
When I launch Calendar the shortcut doesn't work. But after I opened the File Menu, then the Export sub-menu, the shortcut DO work as expected.
As I need this for an Applescript (there is still no Export… command in Calendar's dictionnary!), it's quite annoying.
Interestingly, I don't have the same problem when I create a shortcut for "Calendar Archive…".
I know I can of course use GUI scripting in AppleScript, but it's quite annoying.
Any idea?

I can offer a workaround:
If you need to automate creating a Calendar Archive, just copy all the .caldav, .calendar, and .group folders, allong with Attachments from ~/Library/Calendars/ into a folder called Calendar. Package it up in a folder with a .icbu file extension and add an info.plist file to that folder with the following information:

E71 w/ Outlook 2003 Calendar Sync doesn't work

I upgraded to OVI Suite from PC Suite and like some features but Calendar and Notes doesn't work anymore. I use Outlook 2003 on Windows 7. Here is my system information from OVI Suite:

I'm having the same problem. I have an e71 that connects using BT and I can't get it to sync the calendar and tasks, notes, or bookmarks. It's super frustrating. Here's my info, any solutions would be much appreciated:

The phone software is the latest, according to the Ovi Suite. When I click on "Sync -> Sync Now" the options for Calendar and Tasks, Bookmarks and Notes is disabled (I can sync all the other functions like contacts, messages and music.

What do I do with my iWeb site on Mobile Me? The iCal calendar already doesn't work at the moment.

I am so behind the times....sorry. I know Apple now has iCloud. So where does that leave me with an iWeb designed website and it's hosted on mobile me???? The iCal calendar is already not working for some reason. Is it true that the iWeb program is going away all together? Is there no way to transfer it to the iCloud? Why would they come out with iLife 11 with iWeb if they have no intentions of continuing iWeb????? HELP!!!!! I have to make sure the site is active. Well, it leaves you still being able to host your site on MobileMe until June next year. iCloud and MobileMe will exist together until this time. This gives you time to find alternative hosting for your site.
iCloud will NOT be providing hosting, which is exactly why Apple gave MMe users plenty of notice that this would be happening so that they could prepare and move to other alternative hosting.
What you need to do is have a look at web hosts such as GoDaddy and HostExcllence and purchase a domain name from them as well as hosting and you can upload your website here with no problems. Either publish to a local folder or use the iWeb built in ftp to upload.
iWeb is an application and if you have it you can still use it. It works with Lion and Snow Leopard. No you don't have to re-build. Continue to use iWeb.
Yes, iLife 11 was brought out, but did you not notice that iWeb and iDVD were not updated as part of this? They upgraded GarageBand, iPhoto and iMovie but not the others, so even though it is iLife 11, it is still iWeb 09.
Your website will be okay hosted on MobileMe until June next year and after that you'll need to upload to another host. iWeb will continue and you can still use it - you don't need to re-build all your sites.

Windows 2003 calendar sync doesn't work with iTunes 7.6

I updated to the new iTunes 7.6 yesterday and found out that calendar sync didn't work. I tried everything that is suggested by the Apple.com support web site. None worked. I didn't have any problem with my calendar with iTunes 7.5. I hope Apple could resolve this issue ASAP as I need my work calendar be synced on my iPhone.

Hi, I just bought my iPhone a couple of days ago and am having the same problems.
I have a Macbook at home, but need to be able to sync with my work computer for contacts and calendar. At work I'm running on Windows XP Pro SP 2 and MS Outlook 2003 SP 3. I've made sure to update all MS software. I'm running on iPhone 1.1.3 and iTunes 7.6.
My contacts sync fine, but, so far, no luck with my calendar. I've gone through the trouble of completely deleting everything off my calendar and am trying "test" appointments to no avail. What's really frustrating is that I've logged out of my ID on this computer and logged in using a test ID. I can successfully sync a test appointment following those steps.
Tech support tells me that since I'm successful under those conditions, it must be a corrupt entry on my main calendar. But, as I've mentioned, I deleted everything I can find off my main calendar and am still not able to get it to sync successfully.
This is quite frustrating.

By the way, There are pictures in the Org units box, int he print previw it's ok, but in the generated pdf there is no picture in the box. Maybe this is related to the first problem

Hi N.
Unfortunately the problem looks to be that you are using secure HTTP to access your photo ("https://...").
This will cause trouble for the PDF Export add-on to read the image.
Suggestion 1:
Are you able to provide the photo URL path without using HTTPS? Your content server link already contains an encryption, there is no need to also secure the communication channel at the transport layer (by using HTTPS). I am not sure if the IT Policy will allow this, but it is definitely the best choice we have.
Suggestion 2:
Log a support ticket explaining the details of this issue. Keep in mind that because you are using an old version of STVN, this suggestion might take longer to get resolved.

IMovie for iOS 2.0 export doesn't work. Anyone else have this problem and how do you fix it?

It seems that I can export projects that are very short (less than a minute) but anything longer than that simply shows the export progress bar and then never makes any progress. I've left it sitting there for an hour and it never moved. This also means I can't upload anything to YouTube. It was working fine last week when I exported a five minute video in 1080p, but now I can't even export a three minute video in the lowest quality option.
I'm using iMovie 2.0 on my iPad and iPhone and the issue is present on both devices, even though it was working fine last week.
I have already uninstalled the application, reinstalled it, and it still won't export any of my projects.
Oh, and Apple removed the ability to open iMovie iOS projects in iMovie for Mac because that feature made way too much sense.

Mavericks mail export doesn't work

I've been trying to export a gmail "mailbox" from Mail 7 so I can use it elsewhere. Mail (and Google) show it having hundreds of email, but when I export it produces a mbox file of about 400kb. Obviously not all the messages. It isn't an alias or symlink. There's a plist and table of contents, but no messages. I don't have the old Mail, but IIRC it produced a mbox with all the messages. This behavior is occurring on both a MPB and iMac, running the just recently "upgraded" Mail. What's up??

I ran into the same issue and found a work-around that does the trick:
For my example, I wanted to export a folder on my Gmail account labeled as '2009'.
1. Go to Mailbox > New Mailbox > Select "On my Mac” for location, create a folder called “Export”
2. Create a sub-folder that matches email you want to export (I tried just dragging a folder over from Gmail: It created the folder, but no messages were copied)
3. Select all messages you want to export, copy them into your new folder (On my Mac > Export > Folder name (2009) )
4. Export new mailbox via Mailbox > Export Mailbox
Rinse and repeat.

Outlook Connector shared calendar lookup doesn't work for non-admins

Non-admin users are not able to retrieve a list of users from the GAL with Outlook Connector. I, as an admin, do get the list. Here is the the access log for a non-admin user. Note that in the RESULT, nentries is always zero.

I reviewed the document and I believe the VLV browsing indexes are setup and functional. I've also checked the ACI entries and they look correct. (The document doesn't mention the ACI entries for proxy authentication.) As I said, an admin user can retrieve names from the GAL, a non-admin user cannot. The only difference in the access log is the returned nentries value.

IPad calendar syncing doesn't work

Since a few weeks (I feel since the update is available iOS7) calendar synchronization between my iPad and iCloud does not work ... Note that I do not wish to update iOS7 .. I hope Apple does not cause the malfunctioning to force me to do the update ...

How do I copy photos from iphoto to an sd card. Copy doesn't work and export doesn't work.

I have tried to copy photos to an SD drive on my macbook pro from iphoto. Copy does not work and I get an error when I try export. Can this be done?

what version of iPhoto are you using?
what system version are you running?
what happens when you try to drag and drop from the Finder? Any messages?
what fixes have you tried?
where is your library located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?

File/Export doesn't work

I'm using iPhoto 6.0.5, when i click File/Export, nothing comes out, please help.... sob.

Update:
I tried again and got a partially rendered image on my desktop.
I selected 6 images and exported them, one of the six was partially rendered the other 5 were rendered fully. I found that one of the titles did not match the title of the thumb nail and the title that appears in the Information box in the side bar of iPhoto. This happens when I edit the title in the information box in the side bar. It appears that I have to edit the title from an original photo or export it then change the title and reimport the photo into iPhoto. When I reimported the photo then exported, the title was fixed but I got a partially rendered photo, I had to export it again replacing the photo on my desktop. Very strange I was able to export and entire album with 98 photos flawlessly but exporting a single photo or a small group I get at least one partially rendered photo.

Premiere Pro CS4 export doesn't work Dynamic Link Error

I am on Windows XP and have upgraded to Premier Pro CS4. I have under a 2 minute video that will not export (combo of photos and avi files we shot and a couple purchased avi in the NTSC format). AME sits on a "Waiting" status with no sign of movement. After an hour I turned it off. Tried to open AME and add the sequence, when I get the Adobe Dynamic Link Error - at least I get an error. What is this? I have no extra items on the timeline and have deleted the other sequences out to see it that mattered - no. I have done the updater and have the latest updates - still nothing. What am I missing? What should I be looking for? Help Please.

Antivirus isn't an issue and I have a lot of space.

I bought an iMac few days ago. I would like to sync ical on my iMac with my professional calendar I use in my company (from outlook web access).
I was easy to manage it on my iPhone (I just add a new "exchange" mail account and ask for a calendar sync only) and it worked very quickly.
But I cannot do it with the iMac, and I don't undersatnd why?

Iphone 3g: Clicking phone number in calendar doesn't work

Clicking on phone number in email will prompt for calling the number but the same doesn't work in calendar. Is it a known issue ?

Adding my agreement to this issue. Since iPhone recognizes phone numbers everywhere else, it's very disappointing that it doesn't work in calendar. This is probably the most important place for phone number recognition. considering there is no cut/paste feature, this means I have to write down the number on paper and the manually enter into the keypad, very inconvenient!
When this is addressed, it will be very important to include recognition of additional numbers and characters used for conference calls, like the blackberry has done for years.
