Calendar year per week

Hi gurus,
I have a report which is having a variable calendar year per week. when iam giving the variable inputs as for Eg: 52.2008 its showing me data in week column as WEEK 52 (DEC24-DEC31), but when iam giving the variable inputs as 1.2009 iam getting the values but in the week column iam getting as # i mean its not showing me as WEEK 1(JAN01-JAN07).Please guide me accordingly.

Hi Amar,
Check whether the Text is maintained for the 01.2009 week.
If you havent maintained the text then you won't get the values.

ICal won't show or print calendar in 5 day per week view

Even though I have checked the option under preferences to view my calendar with 5 days per week, it still shows on screen and prints with 7 days per week. Anyone have any ideas to remedy this?

yes there is a problem with the web view formerly published pages timing out. that I need answers to myself.
regarding losing the option to publish in ical 4, what happened is when you upgraded your mobile me calendars it took all your published "on my mac " calendars and stored them at me.com which for now has no web view associated with them-they can only be shared by subscription.look at you ical and you'll see all your calendars now under [email protected] here's the work around:make sure her availability calendar is up to date. in ical go to file>new calendar>on my mac. give it the exact name of the one you had published. now select that calendar from me.com go to file>export-export the .ics file to the desktop-now go the your newly created "on my mac" calendar and import that file.-now with the "on my mac" calendar ical will allow you once again to publish. and if you kept the name exactly the same it should have the same web address-now if will only stop timing out!

Calendar Year/week 2014 53rd week

Hi Experts,
I have a BEx query that users use for comparison between previous and current Months, between previous and current Year and previous and current week of the year.
In 2013 we have 52 weeks but in 2014 we have 53 weeks
Users want to compare sales on weekly basis based on previous years and the current year but 53rd week on 2014 year is messing up the numbers.
is it possible to exclude or include this 53rd week from the query by using some kind of filter or variable.
Can you please help me the step by step process on how I can achieve this..
Also please advise if I use this BEx query as a source for BOBJ webi query, is it easy to achieve this task in webi and How ?

I wonder is it really the correct thing to exclude a week of your sales?
Do you want to compare week 10 this year V's week 10 last year - if so you can change your offset to -53 instead of -52.
We use a lot of Customer Exits on time, and where we derive MTD values, we make allowances in the code for 53 week years. Typically we add the extra week into August (different companies will make different decisions) so in August for last year our week numbers would be 31-34 and this year would be 31-35. Sept last year would be 35-39 and this year 36-40 and so on.

Absence Quota Generation begining of Calendar Year

Hello Experts,
Although the said requirment has been already posted in SDN, could not see any solution for this from the threads.
I have a requirment to Generate Absence Quota i.e Annual Leave at the begining of the year, precisely when i run Time Evaluation on 01.01.2011 system should generate the Quota in advance for the Calenday year.
I could generate via Report RPTQTA00 but the same is not happening in TE, even i tried with all Accrual options like Calendar Year, Monthly, Payroll Period, Base Period etc but system picking only the last day of the month or year.
I am wondering if some potential solution would have released from SAP during EHP 4 and 5

I have one senario in TIme management ....
Employee have 1year probation period ,but he is entiteled for taking leave after 1 year . that to leave should be accured for calender years after probation period. & henceforth it should accur per calender year.
For Example: Employee have joined on April 2011 ,Then his leave should be accured after April2012 upto Dec 2012 & then for next year 2013 leave should accure from Jan 2013 to Dec 2013.

Did you try to replace the calendar info on the phone with the one on your Mac? You can find this option in iTunes/Info pane, Advanced section.

Creating a fiscal date table that includes Day of Year and Week of Year column

Our fiscal year runs between 1st October through to 30th September and I'm trying to create a date table that I can use to represent this in Powerpivot (I'm using Excel 2013). I had no probably creating columns for Fiscal month or fiscal year, however I am
having issue breaking it down more than that, specifically I cannot work out how to calculate:
- day of the year
- week of the year (with week one starting on the first day of the year rather than the first Monday)
I worked out how to do the day of the year until I had to try and account for leap years which broke the formula I had! Can anyone please recommend solutions, I cannot see anything online about this. Obviously I know that it is simple to do this for a normal
calendar year but this approach doesn't work with a custom fiscal year.
Whilst it is useful for several reasons, my main reason for wanting week is so that I can plot my Pivotcharts more smoothly (although I may have missed an easier way to do that).

For my example I started with 1 column in Power Pivot called [Date]
I created the following Columns
[DayofMonth] =Day([Date])
[MonthNumber] =Month([Date])
[Fiscal Year] =IF([MonthNumber]< 10, Year([Date]), (Year([Date])+1))
[Fiscal Day] =[Date] - DATE(([Fiscal Year] -1), 10,1) +1
[Fiscal Week] =RoundUp([Fiscal Day] / 7, 0)
Change [Date] to whatever your date column is and those DAX formulas will get you what you need

Only activities of the current calendar year are shown in plannend act.

We are using the 2007 UI and I have the following problem. Only activities of the current calendar year are shown in plannend activities and interaction history.
SAP probably made a query only showing a set of data (current year) for performance reasons. I would like to change this in the last 6 months. My users can not see there activities of last week since it only shows 2009.
How can this be changed?

Business requirement is the new field should display the list entry in Infotype 2001 for the calendar year as selection option for employee. they would like to know ITEL subtype claim,
Example.employee no: EE#9941
As per screen shot you may see for EE#9941 there are 2 Leave requests.
So in the leave details the selection drop down menu option or any other way should be display 2 lines.

Circle Sunday Calendar Year

I have a real issue regarding FI Calendar year .In my case the financial runs for April to March.But there is a financial year variant maintained for Nov-Oct financial year also,which taked the circle sunday concept of period definition i.e the dates of a month say 30 Nov can be counted into the month of Dec depending upon the weekday .
Please help me out to find FM to check for a date under which month it is to be counted?

Hi,
you can use the FM <b>GET_WEEK_INFO_BASED_ON_DATE</b>, pass the date it will give the Monday date and sunday date of the week for the date which falls in.

Time type Initialization based on financial year instead of calendar year.

Hi All,
I'm facing this problem. By using time type i'm capturing the no of worked days for a calendar year. This Time Type is used for calculating Privilege Leave which will be divided by 20 in the year end for Quota calculation. But when I run PT60 for the period 31.03.2014 to 01.04.2014. The Time types are automatically getting Initialized.
Here Time Evaluation is running based on financial year not as calendar year ? How to change the same to calendar year.
Already I have searched few solution here. As per the below link
PT60 generating for financial year but not for calendar year . But i'm facing the same issue.
Please suggest me the solution for this.

The Time evaluation is running for Financial year (Apr - mar). But I need it to be run for Calendar Year. I gave PL Quota Time Type as an Example. But its happening to all the Time types.
Pls suggest me how to run Time evaluation for calendar year.
Please see the screenshot below (Time Type 9t01, 9t78, 9t80)
All the above three time types are getting initialized on April, but i want this to happen on 1st Jan.
I'll share my PCR if needed.

Changing group from calendar year to GL year

I am currently using Crystal reports with a ERP system called IQMS.
I am trying to grab data from our genral ledger year (1 of august to 31 of july) instead of the calendar year.
The data can come from either the year or the week (52 weeks). I am currently grouping items from the calendar year but cannot figure out a formula for taking say week 30 to week 29 of the next year and grouping it.
Does anybody have suggestions on how to enter in this formula?

Some DB developers really need to be punched in the throat.
1st of all weeks are messy little animals all by themselves. they don't play nice with the other date increments. The start of a week rarely coincides with the start of a month or year...
So lets just say that you are willing to live with the fact that weeks and months don't usually jive and that the use of weeks in the equation will throw of the exact determination of the GL year by a day or few in either direction... Here is what you want...
IF {V_SHIPMENTS_WEEKLY.WEEK} >= 30
THEN {V_SHIPMENTS_WEEKLY.YEAR} + 1
ELSE {V_SHIPMENTS_WEEKLY.YEAR}
The effect will be:
weeks 1 - 29 of 2009 = 2009
weeks 30 - 52 of 2009 = 2010
weeks 1 - 29 of 2010 = 2010
weeks 30 - 52 of 2010 = 2011

SSRS Line graphs, change the axis maximum and minimum by month, and change data series from calendar year to financial year

I am using SSRS and I cannot access SQL server to answer my problem, so the solution needs to be done via SSRS only.
I am currently trying to graph some data. The problem is, the months on the X axis are aligned by calendar year. I need the first month to commence with July, with the last month on the axis to be June. This also means that the year series need to be changed
from calendar year to Australian financial year.

Per my understanding that you want to show the month in the x axis as the order of the financial year(7,8,9,10...4,5,6) and also display the year in the series group as the financial year, right?
I have tested on my local environment and we can modify the query in the sql to get the financial year value based on the fields of Calendar year, details information below for your reference:
1. Modify the query as below:

when I am doing the MIGO transaction i am getting the error like this, The specified year 2011 is not the current calendar year 2012
I gone throught the t coded like: MMPV, MMRV, OMSY, OB52
As per my company, fiscal yerar is v3 (Apr - Mar)
So now i am in posting period 10(Jan)
And my OB52 settings are       1-2011-12-2011-13-2011-16-2011
In OMSY       2012-10-2012-9-2011-12
Here system displays as my fiscal year is 2012 and last FY is 2011.
I can't find out the mistake where it was. As a FI guy I know there is no mistake in FI side.

Previous period          09 - 2012
Last period in last Fy 12 - 2011
When i am trying to chage the last FY in OMSY, it is grayed out. I reveiwed some of the threads and based on that i was removed my Plants in OX18 also.
Pls guide me how to slove this..

Hi,
OMSY cannot be modified because plants are configured with the Company code.
First you need to unmap the plant with company code. Go to OX18 and delete the plants which have been mapped with your company code.
Then change the OMSY period. Once you have changed the period, map the plants with company code in the OX18.
And go to OMWD and assign Valuation grouping code for all the plants as "0001".
Please try it out in Quality server. Thanks.
