I have requirement where i have to call the ABAP Webdynpro application by passing the parameter from the ABAP ,
Can this be achived.

Please explore transaction BAPI (incase you are not aware of it yet).
If you exposed a remote way to submit (any) report using an internal table which that "any report" can use, then chances are good that your ABAP proxy would be a bit of a security hazard...
Or am I missing the point here?
Perhaps you could explain the scenarioa bit, and then appropriate solutions can be suggested.

Yes - this subject would make an interesting blog and I hope to get round to it soon if no-one beats me to it - that's a dare :-).
We offered this at the US Teched (BEM250) and it was very popular with good feedback. We're repeating it in Japan, Amsterdam and Bangalore.
I'm not realy sure what is meant by R/3 workflow. Workflow has always been part of the basis and since SAP NetWeaver it has been part of that. It's not a 'product' (the name SAP Business Workflow is a bit misleading in this respect) so there's no separate licensing involved. ABAP Web Dynpro came in SAP NetWeaver 2004s, which is after the R/3 era.
So Gajendra is asking about either
1. workflow and WebDynpro executing in a NetWeaver 2004s system in tandem with an R/3 (say Release 4.6C) or
2. workflow embedded in R/3 4.6C calling a NetWeaver 2004s Web Dynpro or
3. workflow and Web Dynpro in a Business Suite application which is build on NetWeaver 2004s (i.e. ERP 2005).
Phew...
Anyway composition 1 is best done using XI. Composition 2 and 3 are both recommended but 3 is the easiest.
The simplest solution:
a) Use the Universal Worklist (UWL) as the inbox.
b) Use table SWFVISU to generate a configuration for the UWL for an ABAP Web Dynpro application (described by Sandy).
c) The Web Dynpro application must expect a parameter called WI_ID. This is the work item ID and is the 'handle' to the process. Within the Web Dynpro you can use this handle to view the process/task context (workitem container) and even modify it. You can also use this to signal that the work item is completed. All of this is done using the SAP_WAPI function modules. (the answer to Raja's question).

Call WD Java from WD ABAP

My requirement is to call WD java in portal from WD ABAP .
I Searched and found it is possible by using PCD Path but i am not able to do .
I tried it and now called application is opening up but full portal opens up in a separate browser , i want only that Iview should open in same browser.

on this system is ABAP and BI JAVA installed.
is it possible to export the ABAP part ONLY and use this for a new installation ??
Thisnew installation must include ABAP and BI JAVA.

Yes this is possible. Under the link http://service.sap.com/instguides follow to the system copy part and there you get the documents pertaining to the export of only ABAP part from the dual stack.

CALLING BUSINESS OBJECT FROM AN ABAP REPORT

Hi friends,
 I have a business object to which a Custom Function Module is assigned in one of its method.This Function Module calls a Bapi to update a Service Order.I need to capture the status of Idocs regarding success or failure from the function Module in the ABAP Report.I would like to know if there is any way to call this business object from my report and get the status of IDOC.

sorry I think i was not clear in explaining .I am calling a BAPI to update 'Priority' field of service orders in a custom function module(remote enabled) and I have assigned this bapi to a custom business object. Also I have developed an ALE interface thru BDBG transaction which automatically generates custom basic idoc type,messsage type ,Ale i/b and o/b function modules.
Actually my requirement deals with a report where we have list of service orders in an internal table and pass each service order to update Priority field.
Is there any way to create an IDOC from the report and update the priority field and pass back the status of IDOC.
I have tried calling ALE O/B function function module generated thru BDBG transaction in my report but as a result i am unable to get any of the message whether idoc is created or not.

Passing data from report to abap webdynpro

Hello,
I'm calling an abap webdynpro from an abap report through CALL_BROWSER MF.
I need to pass data from a report to a webdynpro. It is a table that I want to pass. I've tried to user memory ids, but as I was suspecting, it doesn't work.
Is there a way of doing it?

Call to function from ABAP WebDynpro.

I am trying to call function module from WD ABAP. the function is calling to a sap transaction (IW22) with parameter.
My code is:

You can not call a transaction from Web Dynpro. Anything that invokes the SAPGUI can't work from within Web Dynpro. Consider instead building a URL to the SAPGUI for HTML or if you are in the Portal or NWBC performing such navigation using the Object Based Navigation Portal APIs.

ABAP WebDynpro: Call a URL with POST-parameters?

Hi all,
I want to call a URL from an ABAP WD method with additional data. I know that this is simply possible via the Window Manager, passing a URL. Adding additional parameters inside the URL is of course also possible using "&" and "?" separators.
Is it somehow possible to call such a URL out of WebDynpro with additional POST data (e.g. an XML datastream)?

Calling a local Webservice from ECC ABAP - Am I on the right track?

Hi all
In my NW2004s landscape I have an ECC system (ABAP 6.40, Java not configured/linked) and an XI system (6.40). My requirement is to call a Webservice (WS) from the ECC system.
I've converted an existing Java class (that contains 3 methods) to a webservice (WS) using NWDS. This WS has then been deployed to the XI system as it is the only one with a JAVA system. I'm able to view and test the WS methods using the Web Service Navigator on the XI system. The wsdl for the WS that was generated has the following format "http://<server>:<port>/<webservice name>/<configuration name>?wsdl (No .asmx extension as per most of the examples on SDN...not sure if this matters).
My understanding is that I should be able to create a client proxy in my ECC system (via Enterprise Services in SE80) using this wsdl and I can also configure a logical port throught txn LPCONFIG. I should then be able to utilise ABAP to call this webservice?
I've found the blog "/people/thomas.jung3/blog/2004/11/17/bsp-a-developers-journal-part-xiv--consuming-webservices-with-abap detailing this (for a 6.40 system)... but when I attempt the program I get a soap 111 error code Unallowed RFC-XML Tag(SOAP_EINVALDOC).
Am I on the right track? Is it possible to call the Webservice from ECC ABAP?
There are no dumps for me to analyse and I've also tried putting on RFC trace with no success.
Could it be that the WS is not correctly formed even though it works fine when tested from the WS Navigator on the XI system?
