I tried to apply the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Promotion today at Best Buy...

Well today I had another unfortunate experience at Best Buy. I tried to use the below deal that begins today:

1) I went over to the gaming kiosk to trade in my games. The employee told me I have to do this at the customer service desk. I've never had to do this at any Best Buy. I always trade in games at the kiosk since USUALLY I'll get someone knowledgable with video games and the current promotions.
2) I go to the customer service desk and told the girl I want to trade in CoD: Ghosts and Black Ops II. I also want to use the $10 coupon promotion and apply it to a CoD: AW preorder.
3) The girl tells me that I have to do this online. The coupon fine print obviously states it is in-store only. I try explaining this is an in-store promotion.
4) She told me I must be talking about the $10 rewards certificate for preordering. NO. Look in the ad, they are two different promotions.
5) Then, she told me that I cannot preorder this game in-store. "We must have run out of copies." I've never heard of a standard edition Call of Duty game run out of preorders before. Especially on a new system (PS4) where they need their userbase to be huge.
6) At this point I was fed up. I asked if there was someone in the video gaming department that had more experience with the promotions and trading in games. The girl told me that they do not have any video game specialists at the store.
I seriously cannot believe a Best Buy store can be this clueless. How can someone run a business like this? Sadly this is not the first time I've ran into problems with Best Buy.
Has anyone had any luck using this promotion? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???

It shouldn't be so difficult to pre-order an upcoming game, so I can imagine why you'd be frustrated! It sounds like the rep you spoke with might not have been familiar with either the game trade-in or pre-order process, although walk-through guides and training documents should have been readily available at the time of your visit.
To take advantage of our current Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare trade-in promotion, customers simply need to trade in a copy of either Call of Duty: Ghosts or Call of Duty: Black Ops II and reserve a copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare at their local store. Both the trade-in gift card and coupon can then be applied at the time of pickup, with the $10 pre-order bonus certificate being awarded 15-20 days after pickup. Since the Atlas and Atlas Pro edition are online-only items, they are not eligible for this offer.

Missing DLC for Call of Duty Advance Warfare

I bought Call of Duty Advance Warfare today but did not get the free DLC, the rep asked my email for the DLC but when it rang up it showed 4.99 for the DLC . I was not sure what the 4.99 charge was but appears that it was for the free DLC.

Also haven't received Dragon Age Inquisition yet, but it has yet to be 20 days. I miss having a separate rewards site to keep track of all this as it was much easier than the present format. The way orders and point searching is integrated is not very clear.

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Preorder problem.

I preordered my copy of Call of duty Advanced Warfare PS4 on Oct 26th at the Bestbuy store. I put $5 down on preorder and my purchase history showing order {Removed per forum guidelines.}. I just went to midnight launch and I was going to use $10 call of duty ghost trade in promotion coupon and coupon wouldn't work when they scanned it. They void the transaction and restart the transaction. I"m afraid that they cancelled my preorder because on my new receipt it's showing order {Removed per forum guidelines.} and they cancelled previous transaction to restart new transaction. Can you guys find out if I"m still eligible to receive my $10 reward certificate for preordering call of duty or can you give me $10 certificate on my bestbuy rewardzone account?

As long as both your initial pre-order deposit and My Best Buy membership information are reflected on your final sales receipt, then there's no need to worry! Remember that both base points and any applicable pre-order bonus certificates can take 15-20 days to post, so you won't necessarily see record of them right away. Pre-order bonus certificates also don't always appear as pending, and instead are simply available for use at the end of that timeframe.
If you still haven't seen record of your purchase at the end of that 15-20 day window, let us know and we'd be glad to look into the situation on your behalf at that time.

Call of Duty : Advanced Warfare issues

Hello guys,
I bought a MSI Gaming Series Laptop on around August 2014; here are its features :

(except I got 8GB instead of 12 on the website)
So my problem is ... I have terribly LOW FPS on Call of Duty : Advanced Warfare (maybe the post has been replied yet on another topic); let me explain it to you quickly :
-So I launch it on Steam and everything seems to go well
-Then; when I get into the Campaign Mode even the cinematic is lagging for real, I get also some problem with the sound synchronization (it launchs while the game is freezing and lagging and then... nothing happens; the game continues to play the cinematic without any sound)
-I also tried Exo Mode and Multiplayer Mode : the same issue is going on.
About the updates I've already done :
-Windows Update
-AMD driver is up to date
-DirectX
I also downloaded the game with Steam (I also checked if it is complete; and it is) and it's located in F:// partition maybe it could have change something.

Have you checked the game is running by dGPU in CCC? Go to start -> power -> switchable graphics applications settings. Set the game run on high performance.

Hi sony,Yesterday I had downloaded the DLC for COD :Advanced Warfare "Havoc", and i bought it, there is 3 files all named Havoc DLC, i downloaded one and it got stuck on waiting to install, im thinking it might have downloaded the incorrect region but im not entirely sure, im not too happy that i have to wait another 3 hours to download this DLC again. My pre order pick up was a nightmare. I traded in a couple games before I picked up and everything went pretty smooth. It initially took a few extra minutes to complete the pickup transaction for my COD. Get to car and pull out my game and its the X360 version not the XB1. I don't know how she got that mixed up I traded in two XB1 games and she even said XB1 on her way to the back. I go back inside and it takes her a while to find "my" copy so she pulls one off the shelf out front. Then she has issues with my GCU, preorder deposit, and coupon. Finally everything goes through on her third try but her total is incorrect. I have bought enough games to know how much a full price game is with GCU after tax. Long story short I end up paying for tax on a $60 game instead of a $48 game. I also lose .68 I had on a gift card applied to the original transaction. With all her voiding and redoes I am sure I will end up having to contact support for my $10 RWZ preorder bonus. I just don't understand how GCU works flawless online but instore I have to jump through hoops for my member benefits. This dibalce took an hour and I look like an idiot for arguing about $3 and end up conceeding just to get out the store. I end up paying $18.44 instead of $15.67 which was my balance owed after deposit/discounts. I think from now on when I order from Best Buy it will be shipped to my house. Two orders in the past seven days and somehow the store screws something up.
Why couldn't she just give me my game instead of making my life a living nightmare?

As you're probably aware, it typically takes 15-20 days for both base points and pre-order bonus certificates to post. If you do not see record of your purchase on BestBuy.com after that timeframe has passed, let us know and we'd be the glad to look into the situation on your behalf at that time. Call of duty Advanced warfare

I have downloaded the new dlc today and I am having problems with the game I have a game on exo zombies the new carrier map and every time it takes me to the main menu and says disc read error 'imagefile 41' it also does this on multiplayer so I can not play on the game which I paid like 100 pound for including the season pass this is disgusting

You need only one dlc file. You can delete all with status "waiting to install". The second dlc (4.8GB) is for the disk based game and the biggest one (5GB) for the digital. I played a couple of multiplayer matches on a new maps with no issues. You can try to reinstall game again.
