Call tree treeview doesnt go down far enough?

Hi,
When running an instrumentation profile on an asp.net application in VS2013 why is that the full call tree is not shown even though the code underneath the last element in the treeview definitely has my code underneath?
If I use Redgate ANTS profiler then the full tree output is shown.
The MS profiler stops after about 5 levels deep, I have tried changing the summary call depth to 10, have turned off "Just My Code", have turned off "ignore small functions" but still nothing..???
Anyone got any thoughts?

Could you share me a screen shot about the result in your side? Please also share us the result result with Redgate ANTS profiler with a different screen
shot.
If you mean that you get the result like this screen shot1 in VS IDE, it doesn't share all call trees like screen shot 2, I doubt that it is by design, we need to click the tree manually.

Scroll bar does not scroll far enough to view last page in thumbnail images

When using Adobe Acrobat, and have the thumbnails/pages panel open on the left side, the scroll bar will not scroll far enough down to show the last row of thumbnails. For example, have a 40-page document open with the Pages Panel open showing page thumbnails in rows of 3. When the scroll bar reaches the bottom, the last row shows pages 37, 38, and 39. Where is page 40? If you look closely, you can see a sliver of the top of the thumbnail below page 37. There is no way to view the thumbnail because it is at the bottom of the list, and your scroll bar has reached its end.
Is it confirmed that this is a bug in Adobe? If yes, is there any hotfix available for it?

Instrumentation Hot Path or Call Tree depth

Hi,
I have a basic question regarding the profiler in Visual Studio 2013 running an Instrumentation report against a Console Application.
When I run an instrumentation profiler report against my programs often the Hot Path and Call Tree does not contain enough "depth" or "levels" of subroutines meaning whilst I can see at a high level where time is being spent I cannot
see at a detailed level.
I have created a basic test program to highlight this problem:-

What happened to subroutine Number5() which is the subroutine that actually contains the problem?
I have tried many options in VS (including Exclude small functions option in vsp project) to try and get the call tree to "go deeper" but it wont and I find myself having to go back to 3rd party products. Am I doing something wrong?

If you remove the code "Threading.Thread.Sleep(10000)", and then add some simple code, profile your app again, could you get the information about the "Number5()"?

I've noticed that once you miss a call on FaceTime on a desktop Mac, it won't work properly again until you restart the machine.
I sent in Feedback so we'll see how that goes.

This sometimes happens if you have a case or screen protector on the phone. IF you have one of these remove it and see if it makes any difference

Is it possible to call report in KPI Drill Down. (This facility is available in Hyperion). So my client is expecting the same & what is solution
in this scenario. The report has different measure. For Example calculation of ROCE.
The report consists of PBT, Capital Employed details and want to see once press ROCE KPI.

In version 7.5 there was a 'Mark this page' link in Reports and Dashboards in SSM but this disappeared in 10.0 and has not reappeared in 10.1. If this was there then you could create the report in SSM easily get the URL and use the Associated Link to link back to it.
I've had an enhancement request in the Ideas Place 'Mark this page in Reports SSM 10' D4651 for a long time and all votes would help to get this back!

Notification center doesnt come down in landscape mode

I'v recently updated my ipad 2 to ios 5 and the notification center doesnt cme down when the ipad in landscape mode. And it appears to be missing the email notifications. Can you help me?

The touch point for the notification center is way at the very top of the screen. Where the time is in safari. You have to get all the way there.
As respects e mail, do you have fetch turned on in your mailsettings? If not, it will never know that you have a message.

After installing the latest update to Lightroom 5, I started getting this message when I started Lightroom:
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5[4407]: Oops! An untagged string (assertion failed!) got thrown far enough that we display it to the user. This shouldn't happen.
From what I've found through searches, plugins may be related to the problem.
The problem I'm having here is the lack of any information - no crash log, no reference to what caused this - in any log file. I've taken the most recently installed or updated pugins and moved them elsewhere to test and am still getting this message.
I assume that when I see "This shouldn't happen" as a message from the software, that it's a significant warning. What can go wrong / is going wrong as a result of the related problem? Is my data in danger?

Try the standard fixes to rule out a hardware problem:
- Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

You should be able to play films on windows computers, if it wasn't compatible with it (e.g. you should have got an error if you tried to buy an HD film on non-HD compatible computer).
The current version of iTunes is 11.4 - you can see if there are any updates available via the Help > Check For Updates menu option.

What happens when you try to play the film, and do other videos that you have in your iTunes play ok ?

My 2 airport extremes not extending far enough

I am trying to get my airports to extend far enough to hit my studio (garage) from house and its not quite enough. The garage is a recording studio and the walls are double thickness of a regular garage which makes it difficult.
I have a Mac Pro hard wired ethernet from the house . Is there a way to connect airport from the Mac Pro?
Airports are configured to extend signal. As soon as I walk in garage my signal drops on my iphone, is there a proper position for the airports to extend the max range?

Can you consider connecting the Ethernet cable from the "main" AirPort Extreme to the AirPort Extreme in the garage? This would provide you with a far stronger signal that trying to "extend" using wireless only.
Your Mac could then connect to the garage AirPort Extreme using either a wired Ethernet connection or using wireless.

Wireless is always quite unpredictable if you are trying to "extend" using wireless only, but the basic rule would be that the "extending" AirPort be located about 1/2 to 2/3 of the distance from the "main" router to the area that needs more wireless coverage.
It's all a matter of compromises. If the extending AirPort is located too far from the main Airport, it receives a poor signal and that is what gets extended. If the extending AirPort is located too close to the main AirPort, it gets a strong signal to "extend", but it may not reach the area that you need.
Add to that the problem that every wall, celing, or piece of furniture in the signal path absorbs a significant amount of the wireless signal....and an outside wall typically absorbs about 3 times more than an interior wall. So, the end result is almost always a product of experimentation rather than firm rules.
The bottom line.....if it is possible to connect the AirPorts using a wired Ethernet cable, that is by far the best choice in terms of performance. The "extending" AirPort will need to reset back to default settings, then reconfigured again if you decide that you want to do try this.

Try removing your case... it might be interferring with the proximity sensor.

I have had numerous issues with Itunes 64 bit 11.1.38 (and other previous versions) locking up and crashing upon start with "Itunes has stopped working" or "R6027 pure virtual function call". I have researched the answers around the forums as well as having tried some extensive and repetitious troubleshooting myself and thought I'd list them here... in order of troubleshooting...
1. Install all Windows updates and reboot. This seems to clear issues from time-to-time... I suspect Itunes expects the latest-and-greatest as far as Windows is concerned.. see if this clears your issue.
2. Uninstall all Itunes and Apple products & reboot, remove their directories, remove lingering Itunes registry entries, reboot again, reinstall using "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR" to install the Itunes executable. See if this allows Itunes to stabilize. Pelase be sure to use the following guide from Apple as far as removing the apps and directories are concerned...

3. Remove the contents of the "iphone photo cache" (or other related product photo cache) directory.
4. Try editing the shortcut properties and configure the shortcut (for all users) to run as Administrator.
