Calling Javascript in InDesign using Java

Hi All,
I am creating Java project that invoke "InDesign" Application and runs particular javascript from any Browser.
I am able to invoke "InDesign" Application throught Browser but unable to trigger the javascript.
How to do it please help me.

You will need to use a PDF Java library like PDFBox or iText or PDFClown,
etc.
In each library it's done differently.

Call Javascript Function in my JAVA Applet

I would like to be able to call a javascript function in my Java applet.
I know to call JAVA function with a javascript function but not inverse.
Someone can help me please ?

There are some java scripting example given on forum or in sdk.These all example start with app.
when I debug these java script using ExtendScript ToolKit 3.6 It give error on app (undefined app).I think this app ia application object.

While this script run sucessfully when i put these script in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS5.5\Scripts
and to run these script use Scripts panel (choose Window > Utilities > Scripts), then double-click the script name in the Scripts panel in indesign application.But In this case first i start indesign application and then choose Window > Utilities > Scripts then double-click the script name in the Scripts panel.
I want to create Indesign Application (instance) using JavaScript.When I run or (debug) my JavaScript in any javaScript tool like ExtendScript ToolKit 3.6 then Indesign application should start, like in Apple Script.

Like in VB to create indesign object we use CreateObject("InDesign.Application"). In javascript how create object say "app" of InDesign Application.
For example if i write

in a simple text file and save it with .js extention and to open this double click on this it give error undefined "app".

I have an oracle stored procedure below, it has been tested in PL/SQL without errors. During testing, in_c_file_type="F"; out_n_seqno_freeformat=120139596 and out_n_seqno_commaseprated is null (empty in value column).
When I run the program in Eclipse (windows xp), error messages is below: (It stopped at line 'cstme.execute();' )

Not able to call BPEL web service using RMI call from different machine

1. I have created a smiple Helloworld asynchoronous BPEL process
2. I am able to call that BPEL process using java program (RMI call) which I have written in JDeveloper 10.1.3.3 and the java program is running in the embeded OCJ4 instance of JDeveloper sucessfully.
3. Now I am trying to run the same Java program in my unix machine where oracle application is installed.
4. I have set all the CLASSPATH for required jars which I have used in JDeveloper and also kept the jar file in Unix machine.
5. The java codes are complied successfully.
6. But when I am trying to run it , getting the following exception:

actually , I have laready given print stataement for the data in the context property file that you can see in the output. Today I am also able to call the bpel process using the same java program from my DOS command promt(cmd). Don't understand why the problem is occuring in unix.

I have kind of the requirement. The clinet is asking for connecting the SAP RFC using java application. The build Jar or .war or .Ear for which are going to develop should be compatible for running on any of the Applications server like they have Tom cat, weblogic, websphere server.
so the .jar for or .ear file which we are going to develop should be able to run accessing the RFC/ BAPIs from any of these servers other than SAP WAS that is what their target.
Please give me your suggestion, which is better approach. currently their SAP system is 4.6c . So presently it is not possible the webservice approach. But they have plans to go for upgrade to ECC6.0
In that case only JCO option is possible. If use this option . Is it possible to access application which is deployed irrespective of the WAS by doing the required configuration.
Basically i am aware of the ABAP webservice work bech steps and also the JAVA coding also.
Please suggest me what is the better way to achieve this.

I see many sophisticated capabilities enabled inside Webdynpro for JAVA from use of Javascript. Further, in many cases, Javascript provides the only solution for the requirements!
From this forum, I think I hear that Javascript capabilities may be disallowed in future WebDynpro releases by SAP.
I have 3 questions related to this:
1. Why would SAP want to disallow usage of Javascript inside WebDynpro applications? What is the harm?
2. Does SAP think that customers should be able to provide these same capabilities without use of Javascript?
3. Will this same Javascript limitation exist in WebDynpro for ABAP?

1. It is to have a standard for development inside, and outside SAP. Otherwise developers will use ... who knows what they will develop... and there have been quality problems in projects that SAP has to deliver - SAP has 30,000 employees, any of whome can develop in their free time. With the current framework, all these issues have been taken into consideration.
2. SAP and the Webdynpro development team in Walldorf will continue to enhance the webdynpro framework in the forseeable future. There is an alternative if you want to use Javascript. 3. Yes it will apply in ABAP. WebDynpro is the common framework that is used for both ABAP and Java. It Java/ABAP independent "so" to say. But it works better with Java right now than ABAP.

JRE7 Update 13 blocking java applet from calling javascript functions

Hi there,
I'm having a problem where I have a javascript web app that launches an applet that communicates back to the javascript via invoking javascipt methods. It uses the method call from netscape.javascript.JSObject to achieve this. Pre JRE7 Update 13, everything worked fine, but now whenever I try to call a javascript method, it throws a netscape.javascript.JSException: No such method "..." on JavaScript object . This happens only on Firefox and Chrome; however it still works fine in Internet Explorer. Are there some new security settings in JRE7u13 that need to be addressed in order to allow javascript method calling, or is it a Java/Firefox/Chrome bug?

Quite baffling, our application that had worked and still works with other browsers and with an old version of firefox (12) stopped working with the Java 7 update 13.

Java Applet call javascript problem

On first look:
I am not sure about the Object Tag, but the Applet Tag requires the MAYSCRIPT attribute before Java can call Javascript.

i want to know whether it is possible to make a call from PC to mobile using java applets. Please give me a correct reply with proof.

The situation is like this.
We are transfering the JAR file from the PC to the Mobile using Bluetooth.
Our J2ME project is already install on Nokia's 6600 and given to the salesman's on the field. Now i have updated my software and i want to upgrade the same on their mobiles. For this i can't call all the 2000 salesman's who are all over the country (India) to my place to get the latest software installed and configure.
If i have a GPRS like solution for transfering my file from my PC to the remote mobile. I would be better. If you know any this related to this kindly reply me.
