Why is it, if we run 'MAIN' Window without defining 'Text Element'(/E), it displays the contents twice.. The same doesn't happens with other 'Variable' windows..

Hi Main window is different from Var window.
Var window will call only once .
But main window it will call many times, it will go to Driver program and come back to populate the data.

  • Executing Call Scripts without CTI inegration

    Hello Experts,
We are implementing a scenario where our client wants to conduct market surveys based on call lists generated in campaign management.
    We are now able to:
    1) Create Segments
    2) Create Campaigns
    3) Assign Call Scripts to the campaign with channel telephone
    4) Create Call Lists and show them on the agent screen
My guess is that in a scenario with CTI integration, the agent needs to press the "dial" button to bring up the script and log an interaction recrod.
However since we do not have this intergaration and we removed the "dial" button from the screen.
I would like to know if there is some other way that we still can show the script after a call from the call list is selected, so that after the agent makes the call manually he can fill in the answers on the screen and after he ends the call can save a transaction as an outbound call.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
    Kind Regards,
    Alex van Vondelen

    Hi,
I think after the Agent confirms the customer the agent has to navigate to the work center "Script". It will not automatically populate because CTI integration is not there. Please have a look at the following thread.
    Campaign & interactive script
However, you could create an alert to alert the agent that they should navigate to executing the call script. This will be probably the best you could do.

  • Call text element and command in smart forms

Hi, I have create a smart form that have one text element and one command. The command is for do a page break.
I have seen that you can call the smart form from a program doing:
    1.-'SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME'
    2.-call function fm_name
That is not ok for me because I want to call to the smart forms manually as befores it done with sap-script, open form, write , close form...
What function Have I to use to call to the text element?
What function Have I to use to call to the command?
Someone have and example calling a smart form from an abap.
    Thanks in advance.
    MANUEL

Hi Vinod, I do not understand very good that you propose.
I explain more details of I have to do:
I have a abap program that read and write some data, I want to pass every line of the report to smart form, and in some lines comes a break page that I have to force also in the smart form, the idea
    LOOP AT ITAB.
       IF ITAB-LINE EQ '<BREAK>'.
    BREAK PAGE IN SMART FORM
       ELSE.
    PASS ITAB-LINE TO SMART FORM
       ENDIF.
    ENDLOOP.
In order to do that I have created in the smart forms one text element X_LINE that represents every line and a command NEWPAGE that force page break.
Is possible to do that I want by the way that you propose?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Text element is not getting printed in the output

    Hi all,
I'm trying to print address from table KNA1in address window through a text element.
    The corresponding code being :
    In Delivery Prg,
Data : lv_kna1 type STANDARD TABLE OF kna1,
lv_adr6 type STANDARD TABLE OF adr6.
    DATA : WA_ADR6 TYPE ADR6.
      SELECT SINGLE * FROM KNA1 WHERE KUNNR = VBPA-KUNNR.
      SELECT SINGLE * FROM ADR6 INTO WA_ADR6 where ADDRNUMBER = kna1-adrnr.
    CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_FORM'
    EXPORTING
       ELEMENT                        = 'DELIVERY_ADDRESS'
       WINDOW                         = 'DELIVADR'
and calling the same text element 'DELIVERY_ADDRESS' as follows in the Script:
    /E           DELIVERY_ADDRESS
    /:           IF &LV_KNA1-TELF1& <> &SPACE&
    IL           Tel.: &LV_KNA1-TELF1&
    /:           ENDIF
    /:           IF &LV_KNA1-TELFX& <> &SPACE&
    IL           Fax : &LV_KNA1-TELFX&
    /:           ENDIF
    /:           IF &LV_ADR6-SMTP_ADDR& <> &SPACE&
    IL           E-mail : &LV_ADR6-SMTP_ADDR&
    /:           ENDIF
But,this text element is not printing in the output.
Any pointer on this would be of great help.
    Regards,
    Vamsee Priya.

    yes, it is.
I'm trying to get the e-mail address from adr6 table with the corresponding address number  from table kna1.
so I created two tables as below:
Data : lv_kna1 type STANDARD TABLE OF kna1,
lv_adr6 type STANDARD TABLE OF adr6.
    DATA : WA_ADR6 TYPE ADR6.
      SELECT SINGLE * FROM KNA1 WHERE KUNNR = VBPA-KUNNR.
      SELECT SINGLE * FROM ADR6 INTO WA_ADR6 where ADDRNUMBER = kna1-adrnr.
now, I'm trying to fill e-mail adress from lv_adr6. but the problem is lv_adr6 is not getting filled.
data is coming to work area wa_adr6.
SAP is not allowing me to write the below statement:
    SELECT SINGLE * FROM ADR6 INTO LV_ADR6 where ADDRNUMBER = kna1-adrnr.
Now, will any move-corresponding statement from work area to its table works?? Is that logically correct??

  • Issue with printing of multiple text elements in main window

    Hi experts,
I have developed a sales order form in SAP script.
I hv got two text elements in the main window. n i m calling these two text elements by using two write form functions in d print program.
The first text element is gettin called n d relevant fields in dat particular text element is being displyed. (Window - Main)
My problem is dat the second text element for the same main window is not gettin called n its relevant fields r not gettin displayed.
Plz help me to solve the querry.
    Its urgent.
    Thanks n Regards,
    Purva

    Hi,
Are you testing that from in same client where you developed, else make sure that after each change you need to transport the form to testing client.
second thing is check with code did you mention the same text element in window editor and in the program.
    Reward if useful,
    Thanks,

  • How to change general attribute of text element

    hi
who now how to change general attribute of text element on screen dinamically? I wish to change text value dinamically for example.

    Hi Denis,
I am not too sure on what you want.
If you require that the text value be different based on some conditions you can declare as many text elements as conditions and call the relevant text element.
But I dont think that you can assign dynamic texts to a single text element.

  • How to call new window and text element without changing print program

    Hi Friends,
I have requirement like this . i have a standard print prog and custom form. i want add 2 to 3 extra windows in the form and i have to print some data. but how can v do this with out changing the print program. i know that to pick new fields through subroutines. but how can v call new windows and new text elements with out changing the print program.
usually in the print program we write as follows.
    write_form
    window = 'HEADER'
    textelemtn = 'HEADER'
can we accomplish this one also through subroutines or any other way is there.
can any one pls suggest this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Rahul

u  copy the standard print program and make custom program.
write your own codes in it.
assign this program in the place of standard print program.
    Reward points, if helpful.

  • Dump error when clicked on text elements in SAP Script window

    Hi All,
There is an inclusion in SAP Script. I have written the code in driver program. I need to pass the value to SAP Script in the requested position. But when I go to SE71 > Form Name > Change or Display > MAIN Window > Text Elements > I get a dump error.
    Category               ABAP Programming Error
    Runtime Errors         DATA_LENGTH_TOO_LARGE
    Except.                CX_SY_RANGE_OUT_OF_BOUNDS
    ABAP Program           SAPLSTXK
    Application Component  BC-SRV-SCR
    Date and Time          30.04.2014 20:00:08
    Short text
Invalid partial field access: Length is too large
    What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLSTXK" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
    What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
         administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
    Error analysis
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_RANGE_OUT_OF_BOUNDS', was not
          caught in
procedure "TOKEN_COMMENT" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
In the executed program "SAPLSTXK", the system attempted to access the field
"ITF_TOKEN" of the type "C" and with the length 255 using the length 272.
However, a partial field access with a length specification that is
larger than the field length is not allowed.
    How to correct the error
Reduce the length used to access the field.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
        keywords:
        "DATA_LENGTH_TOO_LARGE" "CX_SY_RANGE_OUT_OF_BOUNDS"
        "SAPLSTXK" or "LSTXKFRN"
        "TOKEN_COMMENT"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
        1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
        (Unconverted)".
        2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File

  • Text Element in SAP-Script and Box

    Hi Gurus
Q1.what is the meaning of text element's in sap-script.e.g.
    /E INSPECTION_STATION_INFO
    /E SAMPLE_INFO
    /E PHYS_SAMPLES_HEADLINE..
I have to use these elements in my script.i am not able to understand what does it mean?
Q2.how we can draw a Tabular format in Script?
    Q3.How we can draw Box?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    Text Elements
You can define text elements (window texts) for each window. On the Form: Request screen, choose Edit ® Text elements.
The print program accesses text elements by name, formats them and prints them in the respective window. That is, the program can decide which text elements should be printed in a particular window. It calls these text elements by name to print them. You must therefore change text element names in the print program if you make any changes to text element names in a form.
In the layout of a text element, you can use only the paragraph and character formats defined in the form.
Example of a text element in an order confirmation:
    /E ITEM_LINE
    IL &VBDPA-POSNR&,,&VBDPA-MATNR&,,&VBDPA-ARKTX&
    / &'Customerarticlenumber 'VBDPA-IDNKD' '&&'Position
    / 'VBDPA-POSEX&
This example shows a section of a main window of a form, with an item line of an order confirmation. The /E in the tag column is used to identify the text as a text element, ITEM_LINE is the name of the text element.
    Default Text Element
At the start of a window, you can define a text element without the /E command in the paragraph format column. This text is always printed at the start of the window. It is not necessary to insert this text explicitly via a print program.

    Use the following code
/: BOX XPOS 1 MM YPOS 2 MM WIDTH 20 MM HEIGHT 40 MM FRAME 10 TW.
Box is the command used for printing box in script.

    1. What is the purpose of text element in scripts. When do we use it ?
    2. Is text element window specific or only pertaning to main window ?

    Hi,
text elements control the output of all data in sapscript forms windows.
A text element starts with /E in the format column (switch to 'old' non-visual tect-editor to see) and has a name in the text line.
The print program will fill the variables used as &symbols& in sapacript and then call the function WRITE_FORM for the element.
In the main window, elements can be called repeatedly to output table-like data - usually the text elements are called something like ITEM_LINE then.
Every window has a so-called default text element that has no name and is triggered without function call when the window is displayed. The default text element is the first one in the window. It is not preceded by /E. In other words: What you find on top of the window, before the first /E text element, is the default text element and is output without WRITE_FORM function call.
It is quite well explained in documentation
