Can anyone suggest an app to download for SMS messaging for iphone 3G as the message application factory installed is pretty useless and doesnt keep your sent messages in a sent folde and has no folders unlike most messaging features on other phones.

Why do you need a Sent folder? iOS's Messaging interface lays each conversation out like a chat or IM. Personally, I find that much more convenient.

Do you have enough free space on your iPad for it to run efficiently? With iOS 8 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free. For a 16 GB device that is 2.4-3.2 GB free. For a 32 GB device that is 4.8-6.4 GB free. For a 64 GB device that is 9.6-12.8 GB free.
Try quitting all apps and then reset the iPad. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Do this for all apps that appear there. Then reset the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot. -
My iPad was logging me out so I have reset it - it retained all apps but I cannot now log into iCloud and when downloading apps it defaults to the wrong email details so the iPad doesn't recognise it to update - can anyone suggest how to resolve this
Have you attempted to access your Apple ID through iforgot.apple.com ?
If you have access to the internet, you should be able to go through the process of resetting your Apple ID password via security questions or email.
Assuming that you use the same Apple ID for iCloud and the iTunes/App Stores, resetting your password may help you log back into iCloud and the iTunes/App Stores. -
I was trying to update my ipod for ios 6. It got downloaded but could not update my ipod. my ipod screen is now showing one message usb -up arrow-itunes, can anyone suggest something please.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -

Can anyone recommend an app for downloading bank statements (.csv/.qif) directly on to my iPad that will allow me to analyse my money flow....no account management needed. I just need something v simple that can take my statement and produce graphs etc....thanks
1, Photos are stored within your computer's iTunes, you just use iTunes as a means for trasnferring them to the iPad. Connect your iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
If you want more control over the photos that you copy to the iPad (e.g. the ability to delete them directly on the iPad, re-order them etc) then you could consider a third-party photo-management app instead of the built-in Photos app e.g. Photo Manager Pro

3, You first need an app on the iPad that supports the type of file that you want to copy to it - the iPad doesn't have a file system like a 'normal' computer, everything has to be associated with an app. As to how you then get the file to your chosen app will depend upon what the app supports - different apps will have different ways of copying their content to/from a computer e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc. -

Download the apps on your syncing computer and then sync to the iPod. Note that you can only sync apps for the one syncing computer you use with the iPod. You can manage music and videos among different computer.

THanksYeah, I know I can restore it, but I might as well go ahead and try. I just finished a backup for icloud and itunes to make sure, I'll go ahead and restore it and set it up as new and see how that works. Seems like I have no other options at this point, I'd still like to know what they did with the Download tab in itunes store, if they removed it or if I'm just overlooking it.

I just purchased an HP All-In-One and when I went to download software it said my Mac didnt support it to contact HP. When I contacted HP they wanted me to pay to set up my computer so the machine would work. I contacted Apple and the agent told me to take it back and get either Epson or Canon as HP is not always Mac friendly can anyone suggest a good Epson or Canon All In One. I would really find a draw application "iDraw" maybe, very useful to create diagrams and overlays on photographs. Is Apple likely to add a module to ilife or iWorks? Describe exactlhy what you want to do with photos? There are some apps, like Pages, that can add text and graphics over photos. Describe what you are wanting to do or post an example from somewhere else and we may be able to suggest an app.
