Can ARRAYSIZE be controled by ODBC?

We have an app that uses Oracle ODBC driver. Calls to the DB (8.0.5) are returning one to two rows per network packet (used a sniffer to see this). Of course, this kills performance on a WAN. We changed the SDU in the TNSNAMES.ORA - no effect. The prefetch setting in the DSN configuration of ODBC manager, does NOT seem to have an affect. Changing ARRARYSIZE in SQL Plus has a big impact on number of packets exchanged. Other than hard coding an ALTER SESSION into the app's exe - can this be changed via the DSN or on the server?

Thanks for the response - this eliminates any changes possible on the DSN. We had doubled the SDU to 4096. But the data packets with return data are only 180k. So, even with the SDU at 2048, this doesn't make sense. Something is limiting the result sets to these puny packets. Our only thought is ARRAYSIZE. Default is 15 rows, so we are confused as to why only one-two rows per packet are being returned. I guess it is possible that the app is setting their call to SQLSetStmtAttr with a array size of 1. This isn't an app that we have source code on, so changing the ODBC calls is not an option (we will recommend to vendor though).
Is there any way to 'default' ARRAYSIZE on the Instance? via an init file or srvrmgr? Seems like it is a session only.

Windows server 2008 can't access control panel and can't choose "properties" under "my computer"

Today after a schedule restart on the night I thought everything was normal with my server. But When i go to "start -> control panel" it show me "empty". And if I try to lunch "change/remove software" via search window in
"start" then nothing happen.
I know also that I can't right click on "computer" and choose "properties" in the start-menu.
Also another problem. I did install Fbackup to make schedule file backups on the night. The software worked well to launch when I had installed it, but after the night, this morning it just crash on launch.
I can also tell that I did add from 4 CPU core to 6 CPU cores.

Have you tried to see if the issue persists when you boot into Safe Mode? Since you it shows blank when accessing Control Panel, please check if the policy setting below has been
configured.
Please choose Start – Run - type (gpedit.msc) - click on (Administrative Templates) - (control Panel) -
Prohibit access to Control Panel and Show only specified Control Panel applets. If they were configured, please disable them to see if it could resolve the issue.
In addition, the issue may also be caused by the virus, please run a system scan to see if there is any virus. At this time, you can also launch Control Panel apps from the command

As you said when I using event of Begin its working fine. but while using the event of end, I am specifying date and then matnr (sort) its taking(nodes are created mean first matnr and then date) in the reverse order and when I am taking matnr and date it is placing the events(nodes) in the right order but the order date is not triggering.
can please tell me how to proceed here..

How can I remotely control what iTunes song my iMac is playing to multiple AppleTV's?

So I own an iMac that has homesharing enabled. I then tell the iMac to play to both of my AppleTV's by holding OPTION key down while clicking on Airplay, and checking off the devices that I want it to stream to filling my home with sound that is in sync in every room. Works beautifully. Only problem is that I can not then control the iMac remotely from let's say the bedroom to pick a new artist. The ATV's become dumb clients simply playing what the iMac is pumping to them. Is there a remote interface that allows me to control iTunes on the iMac to choose the sounds being broadcast to the other Apple devices?
NO. VNC is a ghetto work around to accomplish this. Yes, I could do that, but it is inefficient, and inelegant. I am looking for a remote control app with the functionality that allows me to connect to and see the device that I want to control, and then by choosing my iMac, see all artists/albums/songs, play them and let the iMac pump the tunes to the devices that I told iTunes to Airplay to.
Ideally, the AppleTV's should know that they are acting as clients to the iMac serving centrally, but when I pick up an AppleTV remote, it overrides the stream from the iMac, and then the ATV begins streaming independently from the other. I KNOW there is a solution to this...
Any suggestions?

ok... solved it. By using the Apple Remote app, you can tell the app to control your iMac (I did not know that) and that solved the issue. Now the iMac plays the song I want to all of the devices that I told the iMac to play to. Perfect.

Your Apple TV may have become paired with another remote. Hold the remote close to and pointed at the Apple TV, hold down the menu and Rewind buttons together for 6 seconds or until you see a broken chain icon on screen.

You are facing issue as you are using non compatible environment.
VS 2003 is only compatible with CR 9.1 (Bundle version which comes with VS), CR XI R1 and CR10.
VS 2005 is only compatible with CR 10.2 (Bundle version which comes with VS), CR XI R2 and CR 2008.
VS 2008 is only compatible with CR 10.5 (Bundle version which comes with VS) and CR 2008 SP0 and SP1

Can i place controls from the properties dialog of an express vi on the front panel?

I'm using the spectral measurements express vi in my vi and I'd like to put the "window" and "number of averages" controls from the properties dialog on the front panel. However, there are not outputs on the express vi icon for these parameters. Can I place controls for these on the front panel somehow or do I always have to go into the block diagram and open the properties dialog to change the values?

The way to do this is to right click on the express VI and select Open Front Panel. This will convert it to a standard subVI. then go into the subVI and replace the Spectrum Averaging and Spectrum Window constants to front panel controls by right click on them. Right click the icon and select Show Connector. Wire the new controls to a free terminal on the connector. You may have to add additional terminals if there aren't any available to wire to the new controls.

Afte install Crystal Report Server 2011, can not access control tools from web or from application.
My server OS is Windows 2008 R2 SP1. I follow the default setting. How to fix it?

Is Tomcat started? On your Start menu you should have an option to get to "Tomcat Configuration" or, under the CRS menu you can run the "Central Configuration Manager" to start Tomcat.
What URL are you using to connect to the web app? By default Tomcat runs on port 8080 so your URL should look something like this: "http://<servername>:8080/BOE/CMC" or "http://<servername>:8080/BOE/BI".
If Tomcat is running and you're trying to access it from another computer, check to see if the Windows Firewall is turned on for the server - if it is, turn it off for "Domain" access.
If Tomcat won't start, go to the folder where Tomcat is installed and then look in the "logs" folder. There should be a file called "stderr.log" which you can open in Notepad to see what types of errors might be occurring (you can ignore any errors having to do with "persisted sessions".) If there are other errors, post in the BI Platform space to get assistance.

you might consider to switch to the Mini Player (cmd-Shift-M) instead of closing the Window. The Mini Player reacts to the play back controls.
