i use vs2008 to develop asp.net
Crystal report xi r2 can't show control image , not show print , export and all control image and when i click
print or export image it error but other control are work. i run web application by debug mode in vs2008
please help me to solve this problem.

Hi,
You are facing issue as you are using non compatible environment.
VS 2003 is only compatible with CR 9.1 (Bundle version which comes with VS), CR XI R1 and CR10.
VS 2005 is only compatible with CR 10.2 (Bundle version which comes with VS), CR XI R2 and CR 2008.
VS 2008 is only compatible with CR 10.5 (Bundle version which comes with VS) and CR 2008 SP0 and SP1

Is Tomcat started? On your Start menu you should have an option to get to "Tomcat Configuration" or, under the CRS menu you can run the "Central Configuration Manager" to start Tomcat.
What URL are you using to connect to the web app? By default Tomcat runs on port 8080 so your URL should look something like this: "http://<servername>:8080/BOE/CMC" or "http://<servername>:8080/BOE/BI".
If Tomcat is running and you're trying to access it from another computer, check to see if the Windows Firewall is turned on for the server - if it is, turn it off for "Domain" access.
If Tomcat won't start, go to the folder where Tomcat is installed and then look in the "logs" folder. There should be a file called "stderr.log" which you can open in Notepad to see what types of errors might be occurring (you can ignore any errors having to do with "persisted sessions".) If there are other errors, post in the BI Platform space to get assistance.

hi, Now i am using crystal report 2008 evalution with VS2005. In my ASP.net Application Viewiing reports using Crystalreportviewer PrintMode=ActiveX (not in PDF).If i am trying to print using Printcontrol.cab..in the client machine the activeX control is not installing in client. Its works good with crystal report bundle with 2005. with crystal report 2008 its not working. I want to know how i configuer web.config and others. Help me Pls.

Hi,
With Visual Studio 2005, the Icons at the top of the CrystalReportViewer do not show on Web Application Project. However, If I have a web site project, they are all shown. Please note that I found number of posts that people not seeing the icons after the deployment but my case is the development environment. Once I pass the first hurdle I may face further problems like the other people, so If you happen to know answers in both situations, please share your knowlegde..
PS: I created two new types of projetcs and have just a CrystalReportViewer on the default page. Data is shown fine but the icons are missing (red X placeholders instead of icons) in Web Application Project. Very straight forward test.

We havent tried that. We changed the link in the web part to access an html page that claims that the report is loading. It states in the html that if the page doesnt load to "click here" which redirects to the crystalreportviewer. Its a temp fix for it. One thing we are looking at is the 64 bit version of the Sharepoint integration kit. That may contain a reportviewer webpart.

Is there a link for paid support .. all I need to do is the following for a client:
1) Install Crystal report 2011 on a Microsoft 2008 Server R2.. my error message is above.
Resolve the error on start up of Crystal reports..
It's already been over 1 week .. and I can't seem to get a live person on SAP that can help me... once this is resolved I think I will be ok.
I have CR XI on running on another server with no issues.. I don't know if the above is due to a service pack issue, security issue on installation, ... its a production server so I just want to resolve this quick.
Any help you can give me on getting alive person that I can talk to will be greatly appreciated.

SAP Crystal Reports 2011/2013 doesn't show Company Data Base

I have CR versions 2011 and 2013 in several clients, and I can't connect to SAP B1 through the integration component. The behavior is that when I fill all the fields, I can't see the Company DataBases; if I type it manually and click "finish" I get the "conexion failed" error. With version 2011 it was working and then stoped working just like that. With 2013 has never worked. I've read in several forums that this error is recognized by SAP since early 2008 versions, but only talk about future "fixes". I've checked if any fix for 2013 is available but no lucky, it seems that fixes is a mess with CR.
See screenshot. Any ideas how to fix this? is this really a bug?
I have SAP 9 PL 9.
UPDATE: My SAP Partner Support has told me this error is caused by the version of SQL I have (which is 2012) and that SAP will release a patch to correct this soon, is this correct?

We currently have BOBJ set up, CMC/INFOVIEW, and crystal linked to SAP BI...so I thought we'd installed everything we need, I guess this is more for portal...b/c now our goal is to see what crystal reports look like in BI portal instead of infoview.

I can't append control image to report on 1 page with appended text report

I am attempting to create a report which is simply header, experiment information, and two graphs of data. I am using a Easy Text Report and Append Control Image to Report. I have successfully printed out this report, but on two separate pages. The header info is on the first page, and the graphs on the second page. This doesn't seem to be a margins problem, as the header is very brief and the graphs aren't that large either. I would like to make this into a one page report. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nevermind. I neglected to see the Append Report Text.vi. That solved everything.

So the source for the image is referring to a filepath, ie
X:\ rather than a
web path, so you`ll only see the image on your computer
connected to the X
drive. You need to change it to a web relative path, and then

How can I show an image before my animation starts playing

Hey there!
First of all, great work on making Adobe Edge...! I can see real potential in the use of this program!
I have started to work on an animation which will work as a splash-screen before the users see the actual site. (Yes I know... but the client wants it like this...)
The problem I have now is that the animation plays after a few seconds and that during these seconds it shows the content of the website. Besides that I still find it pretty difficult to actually position the animation the way I want.
I am using a plug-in for wordpress so I might not be in the right place to find help.
I tried fixing this with a pre-loader but this is also too slow. Is there any way I can force the animation to play sooner or to make sure they can't see the content before the animation has played?

It's also in my reply above. What I did is add an other div to my website which overlaying the complete content.
Then you add in the animation a line to hide this div before the animation starts playing like so:
So add this to the stage in "CompositionReady" --> jQuery("#div").hide();
This will make sure that the animations hides the div before playing so you will see first only the overlaying div and once the animation is ready to play, this div will hide and the animation will start.

You cannot time with an advanced or shared action. Isn't a rollover image (which you can time) a valid alternative? You could use the timeline in combination with an action Continue, but I don't know the precise circumstances of your question.
