Can Email Start Point process NOT return attachments?

I'm creating a process starting with an email start point, and it does not need to return attachments, only receive them.
When it completes, the email that comes back has a subject line of "Errors from Livecycle ES", and the body says:
LiveCycle ES has tried to process your request and encountered the following error: No results after invocation. It could be a problem during invocation.
Is there a way to simply send a confirmation email back to the sender, with no attachments?

You are receiving the attachment back because the email submission failed.
If an email submission is sucessful, no attachment is returned in the results email.
Sorry...I don't believe there is a way to control whether or not attachments are sent back.

Can one start Integration Process on it's own?

Hi,
we have requirement where Integration Process should make RFC call to R/3 system. And the return from RFC is then processed further in Integration Process. Actually there is infinite loop & wait steps in IP, within this infinite loop, we want to call this particular RFC (which has some business logic in it) and this RFC will send some data from R/3 and based on return we want to process further. How can we start Integration Process, which has send as first step (rather then recv).
We want to automate this process rather than to initiate within R/3?

We can not have Send as the first step in IP.You need to have a Receive step as the first step in any IP.
also to answer your question,you can not run IP individually,it needs to receive data from some source system.

Nevermind. The solution was simple. Just download all his email into Apple's Mail.app and use the add to address book feature. Worked perfectly. Thanks anyway.

Hi Alex,
The Process Flow and Start Process button are not enabled because you have selected the Task Definition item('Display Name Age') in the Processes and Tasks table. Please select Process Defintion itme('prcNameAge' ).

Its like many issues, things just happen some times, but the more info you can provide will maybe help isolate the issue. You still haven't answered my other question about whether you can log into gmail directly from their site and send attachments. Even google servers go down sometimes. Sometimes an attachment is too large to be sent. Sometimes an internet provider has restrictions or limitations. Try other services, other connections, other photos that you may have sent in the past. All of this would help.

Can oracle starts ctxsrv? Not using shell command

I am wondering if ctxsrv can be started by oracle procedure calls.
Once I restart oracle, I don't have to start ctxsrv manually( sometimes just forgot to do so ).

Go to the services in the control pannel, then select the perticular servide select there the service select properties with right click, and then change the Service start type from manual to automatic.

Can't start Photoshop - 'Could not open a scratch file'

Hi, I recently installed Photoshop CS5, however every time I open the application, I am receiving this error message at the loading screen:
"Could not open a scratch file because the file is locked or you do not have the necessary access privileges. Use the ‘Get Info’ command in the Finder to unlock the file or change permissions on the file or enclosing folders."
I've looked online for solutions everywhere, but I've obviously been unsuccessful and I'm at the point where I have no idea what else to try, other than a clean install of my OS, however that is a last resort as I currently do not have an external hard drive to transfer my files to do so. So far I have tried these things:
Reinstalled Photoshop many times, even the CS6 BETA is giving me the same error.
Deleted preference files within /Library/Preferences/
Used the cmd+alt shortcut when starting Photoshop to select a different scratch disk location.
Used the cmd+alt+shift shortcut to delete the settings file, which I cannot do as the error message mentioned above appears before the window for deleting the settings file does.
Tried rebooting several times, even into safemode and I still get the same message.
Tried changing the permissions on the Applications folder, Adobe folder, CS5 folder and CS5 application, however they are all set to 'read & write access' for me. I am also set as an administrator.
Cleaned my cache of any unneccessary files.
I have also repaired my permissions using Disk Utility, but that didn't solve the problem.
I have a 2010 Macbook Pro, 4GB RAM running OS X Lion 10.7.3 with 2 patitions on my harddrive (OS X and Windows 7). I have 15GB free on my OS X partition currently, which may not seem like much, however I have run Photoshop CS5 previously as a trial and other versions of Photoshop and the small amount of harddrive space has never affected the software's ability to create a scratch file.
The strange thing, however, is that I can use Photoshop CS5 & CS6 on a guest account that I created recently, which means that the problem I am having is permissions based. Logging into a seperate account is a good enough solution for now, but it is incredibly tedious to keep changing accounts just to use Photoshop.
Has anyone got any other ideas? As I mentioned previously, reinstalling is a last resort as I currently don't have the neccessary resources.

I managed to fix this myself, almost by accident, after failing every method suggested that I came across.
My problem was due to 'read only' access being set to some folders in ~/private/ on my main account, meaning that Photoshop could not create an important, temporary scratch file in this location.
To anyone else who comes across this thread due to having the same problem, here's the solution:
Open finder, then go to 'Go' in the menu bar and select 'Go to folder'
In the window that opens, enter '/private/' and click 'Go'
Then, right click on the folder 'tmp' within /private/ and select 'Get info'
In here, scroll to the permissions section and change the relevent user permissions to 'read and write'
Before closing this window, click on the gear icon underneath the list of users and select 'Apply to enclosed items' and hit 'Ok' in the next window.
Finally, repeat steps 3 - 5 for the folder named 'var', also within /private/ and you're done. Photoshop should now open as intended!
Although this solution was ideal for my home laptop, giving 'read and write' access to important folders like these can probably lead to lowered security so please do it at your own risk.

I have a generic question. My mom received an email telling her to reset her password because of a hacker. I'm concerned that the email itself may be false and want to know if she can trust it. By the way, finding a way to contact customer support is torture. This isn't a question concerning any product, I just need to speak with someone. I hate these hoops I had to jump through to get somewhere that isn't really related to my question. I'm sorry that this isn't related to Adobe Reader.

I just had to go thru the process of coming up with a new password for Adobe. I think that these hackers steal this information from sites like these and and overlay the username /password on multiple other sites to see if you use the same info.
So I advise not to reuse passwords from one site to another.
- especially at sites that don't take security seriously!

Can't start my Adobe Applications - returning Error 150:30 after updated Mac OS to 10.9

I have just updated my mac to OS X 10.9 and my Adobe CS4 applications won't open, returning error 150:30. I understand this is licensing related. I have been browsing various forums to get a fix for this, and I haven't found anything that works to date. Can somebody offer any advice on this, and is it something that has been seen before. I should mention that I updated straight from 10.5 to 10.9.
Should I go about reinstalling CS4 from the disks? Is there a simpler fix? I would appreciate any help or specific knowledge that anyone can tender in this topic.

Email receiver QPAC does not retrieve attachments other than .jar

Hi,
I'm currently experimenting with the email receiver QPAC. Unfortunately, I didn't succeed in convincing the QPAC to retrieve attachments. The QPAC's testing-tab indicates "Attachment Count:0" for .xml, .pdf, .xdp and even for image type files. Weirdly, .jar-attachments are retrieved indeed!
Also the QPAC seems to mix emails using the subject of one mail and the body of another, if there are multiple emails on the server. Furthermore, the field "received date" always reads "null".
Has anyone had the same problem using the email receiver QPAC?
I'm quite frustrated after a week of testing. :-(

Apparently, I quite misunderstood the way the email receiver QPAC interacts with Workflow server. :-) Sorry for having bothered you with silly questions. Now, I got the workflow working!
Still I get the 'cannot coerce object' exception. The example workflow stalls executing the task 'Str -> Form'.

Question about Email Receiver QPAC you told Rob to provide a patch. Does this patch solves the 'cannot coerce object' problem?

Emails saved as rtf do not include attachments

I am using Lion 10.7.2 and just noticed that when I try to save an email as rtf, do not saves attachments despite having checked the due box in the 'save as' dialog.
This problem also happened to me when snow leopard was launched and solved about three months later with a newer mail version.
Does anyone know is this bug with mail is already fixed? I can't find a newer version of mail than 5.1.

I checked what you say, I chose a message with pictures. If I open the rtfd text with Nisus, I dan hardly see a part of one picture only. If I open it with TextEdit, I can see the whole message + pictures.
My find is that Mail.app saves text in frames, so other apps may not correctly read the whole text and the attachment, even if there, are not displayed. TextEdit behaves OK.
Therefore it is important what app you use to open saved message.
There may be other attachments, which cannot be of course saved in a document, e.g. a zip archive or so.

I have OAS 4.0.7 installed on standalone NT 4.0 (SP3) machine
and the machine DOES NOT have a network card. I use the
Microsoft loopback adapter and TCP protocol. I can connect
to http://my_machine_name:8888/. When I clicked the OAS Manager
icon to go to that page and try to start the ORB processes, I
received this error message:
Can't start ORB processes.
OWS-20214: The OAS processes cannot be started.
Is this due to improper setup the TCP or something else?

Numbering: Import v Image v Sequence - How do these work? Can they be set to arbitrary start points?

I have been searching where ever I can but I can't seem to find a good explanation of the difference between "Import Number," "Image Number" and "Sequence Number."
In LR4 I was able to specify a start number for sequencing the image reference numbers.
I would like to be able to specify that start number and have LR remember where it left off for the next time I import so I have continuously increasing numbers across imports until the next time I need to reset.

OK. A simple experiment reveals:
Import# - Ever increasing number for each import. If this is used without another dynamic numbering (ie image#) it will append -# to the end of the filename. (ex. PHOTO001, PHOTO001-2, PHOTO001-3 etc.)
Image# - Ever increasing number for each image across imports (Half of what I was looking for)
Sequence# - Increasing number for each import. Resets to 0 each time.
The question still remains though.
Can the start points be manually set?
