Can I config Integrated Weblogic what to deploy?
JDEVELOPER VERSION: Build JDEVADF_12.1.2.0.0_GENERIC_130608.2330.6668
I have a test ADF application in jdeveloper 12. In my app, I need to set project's 'Libraries and Classpath' to jars for our non-ADF Web Application.
During deploying my test ADF app to my JDEV integrated weblogic server, it is trying to deploy webservices from our non-ADF Web Apps first.
Is there a way to configure integrated weblogic server to just deploy current app?

Try this, it has worked for me.
*Using Time Capsule via Permanent Ethernet ONLY Connection*
First verify that the ethernet cable from your ISPs modem is attached to the WAN port of the Time Capsule (little wheel icon).
Connect one end of a Cat-5 Ethernet cable into one of the LAN ports of the TC (<•••>) NOT to the WAN port (wheel icon). Connect the other end to your Macs ethernet port.
Next, go to System Prefs --> Network.
At the top of the window note what “Location” you are currently using, as you will need to return to this setting later.
Now, change “Location” to “Edit Locations”.
Click the “+” button and create a new location named “Ethernet Only”.
Click “Done”.
In the Services Pane on the left, eliminate all other services using the “-” button leaving “Ethernet” only. If you choose to leave other services listed then al the very least move Ethernet to the top of the list using the Action Menu (gear button) at the bottom and "Set Service Order".
Verify that “Configure” says “Using DHCP”.
Click "Apply" in the lower right.
You should be seeing an assigned IP Address and the Status should say “Connected”. The dot beside “Ethernet” should be green.
Next, launch Airport Utility.
Select the Time Capsule on the left and click “Manual Setup”.
Select “Airport” from the toolbar at the top.
Click “Wireless” tab.
For “Wireless Mode” choose “OFF”.
Now select “Internet” from the toolbar.
Click “Internet Connection”.
For “Connect Using” verify that it says “Ethernet”.
For “Connection Sharing” choose “Share a public IP address”.
Click “Update” and close Airport Utility.
You should now be connected to the Time Capsule by ethernet only and should have full internet access.

It seems to me that Default Domain can not find the path C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdk160_24. But it was set to be defaultDomain's path at installation. Any idea? -

Issue of deploying a fusion Web Application with integrated Weblogic server
Hi,
i'm using Jdev 11.1.1.3.0 to develop a fusion web application, with a model and ViewController Projects.
When i try to deploy this application with the integrated server, i have any issues.
The origin seems to be that it builds an application with 3 profiles. The model application is recognized and deployed as a webapp and not an ADF library as it should be..

How can i fix the model project to be deployed as an ADf library and not a webapp with the integrated weblogic server ? Because with me it doesn't do it by itself.

Error while deploying a simple ADF application on the Integrated weblogic..

I am new to ADF and have developed a simple application that interacts with the database.
I have tried to deploy the application to the intgrated weblogic server but the deployment is not successful and throws the following error:

Not able to deploy to Integrated Weblogic server
Hi:
For some reason I am not longer able to run my application in the Integrated Weblogic Server which comes with JDeveloper. This makes it really hard to debug! It seems to hang at this point:

After this nothing happens. I know it should start to deploy after this but it does not. I have already deleted the
C:\Users\rleonesi\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system11.1.2.2.39.61.83.1
directory. Which is were the DefaultDomian is located. I also looked in the logs (C:\Users\rleonesi\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system11.1.2.2.39.61.83.1\DefaultDomain\servers\DefaultServer\logs) and don't see anything obvious, although I will admit I am not sure what to look for either.
Is there a manual way to force a deploy?

It turns out I had the Proxy box checked but nothing in the host area, this still caused the problem. To fix it I unchecked the use proxy box then deleted the directory mentioned above and then restarted the JDeveloper. It seems to be working now.

Why JDEVADF11.1.1.3 can not test web service in IE for Integrated WebLogic

Testing a web service deployed to Integrated WebLogic Server.
1.When you deploy the web service to Integrated WebLogic Server, examine the contents of the log window. Find http://IP_address:port/Project1-context-root/MyWebService1
2.Copy the URL and paste it into browser. The browser shows a simple page which lists the operations available on the service.
3.Enter a parameter, and click Enter. The result from the web service is displayed.
My question:
Why only display Web Services Endpoint and Information . Can not have Enter a parameter and operations available on the service.
HttP analyzer test web service is OK.

That is because you are looking at the endpoint information.
If you want to test the service in a browser, then you can use the Weblogic Test Client.
When your Integrated WLS is running, point the browser to the following url: http://localhost:7101/wls_utc/

Updating class file in deployed application in integrated Weblogic of Jdev
Dear all,
The Jdeveloper I'm using is version : 11.1.2.1.0
When I deployed an application and then change the '.jspx' content and save, it will update the file in the deployed application in the integrated weblogic and everything works fine. (I can see the updated immediately without undeploy/deploy the application). When I updated a .java file, after compiling, it will shown the same message saying that the application on the integrated weblogic server is updated too, however, when I try clicking the page, it will show null pointer exception.
Just hope to ask if manually undeploy/deploy the whole application is needed after updating a .java (class) file or it's just some configuration issue?

I've tried to rebuild the whole working space but the exceptions are still exist. The error messages are pasted below for reference.
So to get the udpated .java (class) to work, I need to 'manually' click on the 'run' command to the task flow file and a 'undeploy -> deploy' process will be done by the jdeveloper (need to wait for a few minutes).
If no need to (undeploy->deploy), I think I can save many time a day. Anyway, Thanks for all repiles!

What is the URL to the Enterprise Manager in the integrated weblogic server included in the JDeveloper 11.1.1.4 package?
There is a server running on http://127.0.0.1:7101/ , but if I click on the first link I see on right panel "Go to Fusion Middleware Control" , it redirects to http://127.0.0.1:7101/em , where a PAGE NOT FOUND 404 error is issued. Do you have any idea about this problem?
Thanks.The integrated WLS does not have the EM installed. So you can't access it. However, you can install the EM in the embedded WLS if you like and have memory to spare.

Integrated WebLogic Server won't start

Hope someone can help asap, as I am about to tear my hair out :-) Hopefully it's something straight forward and just can't see it from staring at it for too long!!
OS: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
Same happens, with or without the WebCenter Extensions installed via Check for Updates.
Steps:
Downloaded WC Portal 11.1.1.5.0 from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/webcenter/portal/downloads/index.html
Confirmed the user I log into Windows as - Admin, is part of the Administrators group.
Confirmed no CLASSPATH variable set
Installed, specifying MW_HOME as C:\Oracle\Middleware
Set ide.user.dir = C:/OraJDevUserFiles in C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\jdev\bin\jdev.boot to avoid any Win directory spacing issues
Confirmed Administrators group has full control over both directories: MW_HOME and C:/OraJDevUserFiles
Run C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\jdeveloper.exe
Run --> Start Server Instance (IntegratedWebLogicServer) (no need to even go as far as creating an application)
Message in log pane is as follows:

1). Odd thing is C:\OraJDevUserFiles\system11.1.1.5.37.60.13 doesn't exist if I go to Windows Explorer, although JDeveloper suggests it is. If I do File-Save As from JDev for the log file, I can navigate through the system directory it thinks exists! If I try and save the log file somewhere that does exist, e.g. C drive, it doesn't appear there in Windows Explorer!
2). What's causing the domain creation to fail in WL??
I get different results if I run JDev from here: C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\jdev\bin\jdev.exe
C:\OraJDevUserFiles\system11.1.1.5.37.60.13 is immediately created once launched
If I run the Integrated WebLogic Server, the domain is created correctly and everything apears within C:\OraJDevUserFiles\system11.1.1.5.37.60.13
If I then try and run the Integrated WebLogic Server via C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\jdeveloper.exe again (now that the domain has been created the other way!), I then get different errors in the JDev log:

Any ideas please??I had already uninstalled/deleted folders several times but no difference.
Oddly, to add into the mix....it didn't work, then uninstalled/cleaned-up/installed and then worked...I restarted machine and it no longer worked and back to square one?!?! uninstalled/cleaned-up/installed couple more times since but always the same issue, as described in original post. Very odd!
No difference whether a project has been created or not - thought I'd just make it simple with description, as this doesn't seem to affect outcome...

How to make integrated weblogic server use log4j

I tried to configure for 1 day during according to guides and informations on net. But i can not make it works unfortunately. Just after i start wls, encountered this:

i copied log4j.jar, wllog.jar into my %DOMAINHOME%\lib : http://www.2hotfile.com/image.php?di=BYB3
Even i copied commons-logging-1.0.4.jar and com.bea.core.weblogic.commons.logging_1.4.0.0.jar files into the lib folder and then i set CLASSPATH accordingly, result was negative.
I added these lines into startWeblogic.cmd

Edited by: webyildirim on 14.Ara.2012 02:45I resolved the exception; Jdeveloper 11.1.1.4 was setted up on my pc as well. That was the cause of problem. System was looking some paths on 11.1.1.4 server folders that belong to 11.1.14 version.
Now, created server log which i defined in log4j.xml but no log line found in file, nothing logged according to log4j.xml config file and wls still writes its own log into its own log file which is under $domain_home$\servers\DefaultServer\logs\DefaultServer.log. What might be the reason?
