Can I develop plug-in using cocoa as UI instead of ADM?

I'm just about to start developing illustrator on mac.
Is it possible to use cocoa framework to design the UI instead of ADM?
Then my plug-in code will be mixed with C++ code and objective C++ code. I don't see this from the sample code, can anyone tell me whether it is possible?

I can't say for sure, but since I know from experience it's possible to mix in other GUI toolkits, I don't see why not. You won't be able to use anything but the ADM for palettes, but for just dialogs that pop up? I can't think of a reason why not.
It'll be your headache to parent them appropriately though. AI provides a way to get the root window for the application, but you may have to do some work to find the appropriate child of that window to use as the parent for your dialogs.

Oh that sux! It's just an Eclipse plug-in, and one can have installed multiple installs of Eclipse OK, so I wonder why they're said this?
OK, because I give suck advice, I'll D/L it and install it on a spare machine and take a look. FB usually has a CF perspective does it? So what you need to know is whether FB for PHP still has the CF perspective?
Or are you asking whether you can install CFB (or CFEclipse) as a plug-in to FB for PHP, like one can with FB?

If yes, can I add my own jar files to the OEM Plug-In archive and call my own classes ?Yes, however, depending on the OEM Agent version, you will have to take different options
If you are using OEM Agent version lesser than 10.2.0.5:
You have two options:
- If you have necessary approval / license clearance to bundle jars as part of plug-in , do so.
- If not, you may need to ask EM/plug-in user to copy these jars to specific location on Agent_home
- In my case (for jdbcdrivers), I recommended the jars to be copied to $AH/sysman/jdbcdriver
- Ask the EM/plug-in user to update the $OH/sysman/admin/config/classpath.lst
(provide absolute path)
- Now, depending on how you have done the coding, i.e.,
- if you depend on JavaWrapperFetchlet - you can document that re-start of agent is required for the new
classpath takes effect
OR
- As you pointed out (reference to one of my earlier post), you need not use JavaWrapperFetchlet,
instead, use OSLineToken to invoke java (custom class) which can handle dynamic class loading.
Advantage in this is - no agent re-start.
Disadvantage - you will be invoking java process for every metric collection (quite an overhead)
However, if you are using OEM Agent version 10.2.0.5, things are much simpler. I believe, 10.2.0.5 Agent supportd additional property (which should reference to the absolute path of the jar location after plug-in deployment ) for JavaWrapperFetchlet and its done ! No agent re-start required. No java process invocation for every metric collection !!

You will need JMS combined with your j2se and a JMS implementation(like mqseries). Thats it. No need of j2ee. You can use them in Mac using OSX.

Can I develop servlets locally using IE6 without dialing out?

I have Windows 2000, Internet Explorer 6 and JRun 3.1 on my system. I also have a dial-up internet connection.
My question is, is there a way to use my browser to access local servlet generated web pages on my system without IE requesting to dial out for each request going to the servlet? Is there some kind of setting that allows me to develop on a local system? Would Netscape work differently than IE?
When I start my servlet from IE6 using http://localhost:8102/..., IE always prompts "The Web page you requested is not available offline. To view this page, click Connect." If I click Stay Offline, I get no output at all. If I click Connect, I get another prompt stating "Select the service you want to connect to and then enter you user name and password." If at this point I click Work Offline, the request is sent to the servlet and the request is processed. The problem with this is this prompting happens for every request going to the servlet. I also have to keep deleting the off-line content files so that the changed forms get displayed, not the forms stored in the cache. I have "Check for newer versions of stored pages" set to "Every visit to the page".
Is there any way that I can set up development on my system without dialing out for each request?

Yeah, IE is silly. There is no reason for IE to want to dial up if your server is local. You might want to go through IE help or Tools->Internet Options to figure out.
Netscape (atleast the version I have) will not ask you to "connect".

BC provides you templates to use to modify and sell to a client. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be there. For example, the templates are offered when you go to create a new site. BC asks if you want to use a template, import a site, etc… so your analogy doesn’t apply in this situation.

Can I develop a catalogue using Lifecycle and Database

I have been tasked to develop a spare parts catalogue PDF document with all the information sitting in a Access Database.
I've looked at Lifecycle Designer and connected to the Access Database. My problem is that I have very little experience with Livecycle and found very little on the web on how to retrieve data from a Database.
My question: Is Lifecycle Designer capable of pulling multiple records out of the Database to create the PDF catalogue or not. If it is can you point me in the right direction as far as tutorials or any other learning material?

The best would be you start reading Stefan Camerons blog.
He has manyfold articles for connecting Designer to a database.

Can I get a refund using my order number instead of a Verizon phone number?

I had Straight Talk for ages and I hated it. I finally had the funds to switch and buy a phone. Verizon had the best coverage and price, so I bought an iPhone 4S online. While I was buying it I paid for a prepaid plan. I also filled out the necessary section to have my number ported to the new phone. I checked on the port status and after about 14 hours it said it was successful. I assumed I would be able to activate my new phone with my number as soon as it arrived. When I attempted to activate it nothing worked so I was sent to a customer service rep by the automated system. He asked for my temporary number because I apparently should have received one. He also asked about whether or not I was sent a SIM card, although it's an iPhone so it shouldn't have been terribly necessary, or shipped outside the phone. I said I had neither a temp number nor a SIM so he directed me to a local store to get a card. When I arrived they said I did not need a card but that there was no sign that my number had been ported and was a Verizon number or that I had paid for the service. The only way to activate the phone I paid for was to pay for the service and port my number all over again. I am a college student and I need the $55 I paid originally back. But they have told me that I can't get it back until the second month worth of service and number port I did goes through. Even though the first one didn't to begin with. I feel like I should be able to use my order number from the original purchase to get a refund because I didn't use the service on the order. Does anyone know how I could do that or who I would call? Because the orders department apparently can't do refunds and prepaid can't help me until I have a Verizon number. And the month of service that I paid for online (the original one) isn't associated with a number any more so having a Verizon number probably won't help.

I know that there will be a home interface, EJB object interface and a SessionBean.
But the tutorials often only cover a single class, this made me unable to get a complete picture of how EJB design pattern can be implemented into a whole system.
I am now required to devleop an online shopping web application using EJB and JSP page.
I think I will need to create a lot of classes: Member, ShoppingCart, Product...etc.

Developing a 2 page form, username on the 1st page, password on 2nd how can i force FF to use the username from previous page when it asks to remember acct info?

I am developing a 2 page signup form, where the person enters their username on the 1st page and password on the 2nd.
When I test the form, FF asks to remember my password for the site - however it thinks the zipcode (field above the password) is the username on the account.
I have tried to put their username/email in a hidden field on the 2nd page, just above the password field - and that did not work.
How can i force FF to use the username from previous page when it asks to remember acct info?

This website is using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving and filling the name and password.
You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save names and passwords and other form data.
