Can I insert/embed an Adobe FormCentral form inside an Adobe Muse widget?

Embeding a form to the main page is easy but I can't seem to insert the HTML or copy and paste the form INSIDE a widget such as the acordian or tabled form?
Any sugestions or links to help videos?

The form isn't a Muse widget form, it's an 'Adobe FormsCentral' form that you can enbed into any wedsite. I still haven't been able to inset it inside a widget (any of the widgets) by following your instructions?

Hi! I'm doing a cv template for my company so that Human Resourses can send to candidates. I made the form and I have a page for the "professional experience" area. This page is enough for a recent graduated student but not for a senior candidate (that has more experience). Can I insert a "ADD" button on this page where it creates a reset copy of the "professional experience" page where the candidate could add more professional experience? Thanks

Yes, by using JavaScript to create a new page by spawning a template page. The downside is that is will only work with Reader 11 (and Acrobat) and not previous versions of Reader. It also won't work if you need to Reader-enable the document so that pre-11 versions of Reader can save the filled-in form. If these limitations are not a problem and you need more help, post again.

Why can't users save data in fillable form created in Adobe Acrobat X Pro?

I have created a fillable pdf form in Adobe Acrobat X Pro and have everything working great. When I send it to users they can fill in all of the information, but they can not save the data in the form. I have followed these instructions before I send the form to the users: (Acrobat Pro) Type in non-fillable forms (File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Additional Features.
The form includes text fields, radio buttons, e-signatures (x).
I have researched for days, spoke to countless "Adobe Chat Room Techs" and still have no idea what I am doing wrong.
I am so desperate for help. Any advice would be appreciated.

I've created a form in LiveCycle Designer & Acrobat X, and saved it.
However, when I open it up with Adobe Reader XI, I get the following message

This used to be a relatively simple process, and now I'm completely confused with how I enable saving forms that others have filled out.
If I'm understanding what has been written in this thread previously, this is now normal functionality that doesn't require special settings like it had previously.
Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Adobe interactive form inside SAP GUI

Friends,
We all know that Adobe interactive forms can be called from portals and updated by the users. Is there any possibility that the Adone interactive form can be called inside SAP GUI and updated in the same manner?

Yes you can generate adobe intetractive forms as ABAP report programme outputs. There ares some standards forms available. Please search by FP*.

Read values from Adobe Interactive Form inside the webdynpro

I have problems to read the values of the fields inside de adobe. I read an article on saptechincal that told:
You can see the Adobe form that we have designed, enter the data as shown below and press the submit button. (As I said earlier an activex control will be installed on to the client machine, you can see the activex control in the internet explore go to the menu: ToolsàInternet optionsàgo to the programs tab àPress button Manage add-ons.
You can see an activex control named u2018SAP ACFu2019, if you donu2019t have this control you will not see this page: Note you need to have adobe acrobat reader 7.1 installed, I have used version 9, the activex control was not working properly so down graded my adobe reader to 7.1)
This is true ??? I have the Acrobat reader 9.3 and i saw that also have the SAP ACF installed.
The value of the property displaytype on adobe interactive form on webdynpro is activeX or native.

I change the value of the attribute but again i can read anything from the adobe form. So let me explain what i'm doing.

Objective: I have to create one webdynpro with an adobe interactive form for create new clients on r/3 system.

1. I create de the view with 2 elements an interactive form and one submit button.

2. Create the context of the view with the following tree:

> context (node)

 > ADOBE_DATA (node)

 > Clients (from KNA1 table) (node)

 > KUNNR

 > LAND1

 > NAME1

 > ORTO1

 > TELF1

>PDF_SOURCE

3. Complementing the properties of the interactive form:
datasource = clients node of the context
displaytype = native
pdf_source = pdf_source attribute of the context
templatesource = name of the form

4. Create the form, and add the data source to the interface of the form

5. On the form bulider i add and subform on the hierarchy tab and the all the fields of the interface to the form and
automatically the value of the fields are binding.

6.Add a submit button from web dynpro native and add the event click to the button. Then i change the value of the layout type and save e activate the form and the interface

7. The next step is create an action for the button submit for the event "onSubmit". So i create the function and start coding this code:

9. Activate and test the application and when the program try to add a reference to the element node always returning a null reference and the application dumped.

So please help with this situation i can't understand what is the mistake.

Update table after filling an adobe interactive form inside a workflow

I have the following workflow problem:
I made a webdynpro application that incudes an adobe interactive form. An user fill this form. After filling the form he will press the submit button. The data will be introduced in the custom table and a workflow will be started.
Inside the workflow, I attached the form filled by the user. After attaching it I introduce a user decision step in order to see the content of the pdf attachment, modify it and send again. So, the person that will execute the workitem has to open that pdf and fill some additional fields. The information should be updated in the table and then send to other persons. I don't know how to update the table with the new values that are inserted in the form in that decisional step and send the updated form to the other users.

You cannot do that through decision step with attachment. You have to do with task registation in t-code SWFVISU. so the work item will come to UWL once the approver clicks the work item it opens and entered his comments, You have to caputer the comments and pass these comments to the workflow container element from there you update to your custom table.

Filling out an Adobe FormCentral form

Hi all,
This might be really simple but I've created a few forms in FormCentral and I've included the 'help text' on a few fields. When I save the form as a PDF and open with Adobe reader, I get the purple bar across the top stating 'Please fill out the following form', however the help text does not show up anywhere to give guidance?
Is this a particular view setting in reader?

Maximum number of columns that can be inserted in a HTML DB form

i am creating a new page - form on a table with a report. the table on which this form is being created contains 170 columns. but while creating the form i select this 170 columns and when i click finish, i get the following error
ORA-20001: Unable to create query and update page. ORA-12899: value too large for column "FLOWS_020000"."WWV_FLOW_PAGE_PLUGS"."PLUG_QUERY_COL_ALLIGNMENTS" (actual: 333, maximum: 255)

The maximum columns that can be selected is 128.
is there any way in which i can insert all the 170 columns.

You have a table with 180 columns and ALL the 180 columns are NOT NULL?! That is a very, um, unusual table. You might want to revisit your data model.
You could store your form values in a HTML DB collection as you navigate thru the application. When all the mandatory values are filled in, provide a Save button that creates/updates your database table from the collection. Of course, a HTML DB collection can only store 50 columns, so you will need 4 collections.
The PK could just be a hidden form item on the first page. If you use the collection technique I suggest above, you dont really need to pass it from page to page, it is available in session state after the first page is submitted.

Adobe Printing Form in new Adobe Acrobat Window (not SAPGUI)?

I'm having a problem with an Adobe form and maybe you can help.
We have two SAP systems in place: system A is a 4.6C system and system B is a ECC 6.0 system. I have written an ABAP report that runs in system A and
calls a function module (RFC call) in system B. In system B the Adobe form is generated and shown in the SAPGUI. Due to some unknown reason after some
time the users get a short dump "connection closed". In order to avoid the short dump I would like to change the current logic in the following way: the
ABAP report still runs in system A, the Adobe form is still created in system B but not shown in the SAPGUI anymore but in an Adobe Acrobat Reader window.
The SAP session in the meantime would jump back to system A (to avoid the dump) and the Adobe windown/session would remain open.
How could such a system behaviour be achieved?

Hi Michael,
I don't know whether this solution will work or not in your case. But still you can try this:
In Adobe Acrobat reader go to Menu->Edit->Preferences. In this pop-up select Internet, Here you will see a checkbox "Display PDF in browser". Uncheck this checkbox.
Hope it will open the form in Acrobat instead of SAP GUI.

Can Adobe Interactive Forms do calculation

HI GURUs,
I am new to Adobe Forms.
Two quick questions:
1. Is it doable to create drop-down list for selection in Adobe Forms? For example, listing different sizes for shoes selection.
2. Is the Form able to do calculation as Excel does? beccause we need to verify total money spent is less than maximum entitlement.

How to populate dynamic table in Adobe Livecycle form with cfpdfform?

after two days search on the above topic without results I hope someone here can help me.
The problem:
I have an Adobe PDF form created with Adobe Livecycle Designer that has a dynamic table inside it. The table Table1 consists of a Header Row with 4 cells of text and a data row Row1 with four cells each one having a Textfield Cell1, Cell2,Cell3 and Cell4.
Table1 sits inside a subform mytable. The subform is made to flow and the Row1 has the Binding Repeat Row for Each Data Item checked.
Everything is enclosed within the standard subform form1.
Whe I use the following code, I supposed that the table should have two rows..because it is said it will be dynamic:

What happes is:
The testout.pdf displays just one row,with the values 1,2,3,4 the second row is only visible when I export the data as xml but not within the PDF.
Please can someone enlighten me?

When populating your pdf fields, you can loop through all the records in a query like so...

</cfloop>
This will handle two rows or thirty rows just the same. In this case my fields in the pdf have the row # as a suffix.

I Created context like ROOT(cardinality 1:1)->DATANODE cardinality 0:n. This context is for drop down and in wddoinit i did like this.

i populated the value in drop down.
Its working fine but the problem is how to fill the default value in drop down. because i want to bind the default value which im getting specify value from the table.because each row
im getting different values, like first row
CAR
, that CAR want to fill as a default value in drop down and second row as
BIKE
that BIKE want to fill as default value in drop down ( example drop down contain car , bike , cycle).
In adobe form i binded like this

i dont know whether this one is correct or wrong .
im getting default value as empty.

Adobe Interactive Forms without Web Dynpro and ACF???

Hi All, we would like to build an interactive forms solution based on the Adobe software integrated into WAS. However, the customer requires a true thin client application with no additional installation on the client. Integrating Adobe Interactive Forms into Web DynPro however requires the Active Component Framework (ACF) to be installed since these forms are integrated into the page within an ActiveX container.
So the question is whether there is a way to use Adobe Interactive forms including the Adobe Documents Service within WAS but without(!) using Web Dynpro?(the full blown Adobe LifCycle Forms solution is not an option). Any suggestions on this are highly appreciated!

Hello everyone,
I would like to add a couple of points from the SAP Product Management perspective.
Adobe has a number of stand-alone products that are the foundation for what SAP can now offer thanks to our partnership. This is exactly why we decided on a partnership that provides us with established technology, which is now integrated.
It is true that Web Dynpro is the main SAP way of integrating the interactive functions of the solution. We made this decision consciously, because the development and run-time environments provide very useful features that reduce the need for manual coding, such as the possibility of passing the data back to the backend using the Web Dynpro context. The automatism we offer here needs to be implemented from scratch with any other solution, including the Adobe stand-alone one.
While it is true that the ACF constitutes a certain limitation for the reasons you mention, Adobe will remedy this in 2005. The Reader/Web Dynpro integration will be available later this year for multiple platforms (OS, browsers) and will not require ACF anymore.
If you do not want to use a full-blown Web Dynpro application for your concrete scenario, consider developing an application that provides nothing but the interactive PDF form to the end user, to be filled in using the stand-alone Reader. The submit of the form data (with or without the PDF itself) could then happen via HTTP or e-mail.
