I am running into an interesting issue. I am trying to nest a
DataGrid in a column of another DataGrid by setting the
ItemRenderer property. But I am hitting a well that might be due to
the way setting itemRenderers are done in ActionScript or just my
ignorance.
Here's the issue -
When I set the itemRenderer property of for a grid column, it
has to be set as follows -
col.itemRenderer = new ClassFactory(DataGrid);
But if I do that, since I am dealing with the class and not
the instance of the DataGrid, how do I set the dataProvider,
columns and other properties for my nested grid? I know we can do
this in MXML but how to achieve the same in ActionScript?

A very interesting question. I should try this myself at some
point. If you were using a drop-in itemRenderer, it might look like
this:
<mx:DataGridColumn dataField="gridData" ... >
<mx:itemRenderer>
<mx:Component>
<mx:DataGrid dataProvider="{data.gridData}" width="100%"
height="100%" ...>
</mx:DataGrid>
</mx:Component>
</mx:itemRenderer>

In ActionScript, this might work, but you would need to
extend DataGrid or use a container wrapper.

How can I nest tag within each other

Hello,
I am trying to nest a tag within another tag as follows:
<h:selectitem itemValue="<fmt:formatDate value="${d}" pattern="yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss" type="both"/>" itemLabel="Today"/>d is a java.util.Date variable.
Tomcat won't accept that. What am I getting wrong?

I don't think taglibs could be other's attribute value.
Try using attributes:
<fmt:formatDate value="${d}" pattern="yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss" type="both" var="anyDate"/>

<h:selectitem itemValue="anyDate" itemLabel="Today"/>

<h:selectitem itemValue="@{anyDate}" itemLabel="Today"/>

I attached my Vi from my old project (MY OLD VI). It is worked correctly.
But I decided that use event structure instead of case structure.
I attached my new VI as a picture and as a LabVIEW VI too (network_analyzer_8510_920527 Frequency Sweep.vi )
My graphs show by pressing "case 5: button (Bottom of page right hand).
Then I want to show each of graph in a large window( in a new VI) by clicking a key (for example "show 1").

Nesting reports/report within report/Recursive reports!

This one's really annoying - Can I or can i not nest one report within another?? I have got a really complex report which I want to embed into another and don't want to go through the hassle of rebuilding it in the parent!! Here's what I am trying to do -
I am trying to create a recursive report. I have got a database which has a
table called Outlet and it has several directly or indirectly related child
tables. I have created a report to show these details for a single Outlet.
Now the issue I have is one Outlet can have several child outlets. Basically a
one to many relationship on the same table. I want to display the exact same
details which I displayed for the parent outlet - for each of the child outlet
for the parent.
And each of the child outlet in turn can have more child outlets. So
essentially I want to recurse into the same data model and layout model twice.
So conceptually I want to create a reusable report which I can call from
another report but this report must be displayed in a frame of the parent
report.
Any suggestions as to how I can do this without physically creat9ing three
levels of datamodel and layout model?
I am running the parent from command line and need the output in a single RDF file?

Create a report that shows all the details you want, then group it by ModelName. In the section expert, hide the detail line. When you preview the report you will only see the group name, and when you click it a new report will open showing the details for that group.

( I search for iChat questions when I have finished in the iChat Forum)
So the menu bar reads iChat, File, Edit, View, Buddies, Video, Window and Help
There is no Buddy List open.
There is no other window for iChat open.
In the iChat Menu you only have access to Status.
Is an item ticked in the list ?
Is this a green (Available item) or Red ( an Away one) ?
Can you access the Accounts option ? (Sitll in the iChat Menu)
Is anything in here ticked ?
In the Window menu any Logged in account should appear in the list (Between the Next Chat and File Transfer items)
It would be useful to know which version of iChat this is.
If no account is ticked (iChat Menu > Accounts) or not showing in the Window Menu, plus you cannot determine the Status and you cannot access the Preferences then you need to access your Home Folder/Library/Preferences
As the Library in the Home Holder is Invisible in Lion you will need the Finder's Go Menu > Go to Folder option (you can use it in earlier OS versions if you want)
Type in:-
~/Library/Preferences
Find the file called com.apple.ichat.plist
Drag it to the Trash and Restart iChat.
This will lose all the settings in iChat that you have changed from Defaults but there is no way around this.

I can't find the menu to deactivate a computer and activate another one, as it tells me to do in the support page

the help page tells me to go to itunes store menu and find the deactivate button, but I can't find the menu, how do I get to it?

At the top of iTunes (the program not the store screen) do you not have a Store menu, alongside File , Edit , View etc ? There should then be De-Authorise This Computer option below it :

Nested Navigation Menu, Pure CSS

Argh! Can anyone help me perfect my nested navigation menu?? I had originally built it as a single level vertical menu, but now need to add 2 more levels. I got the second level working fine, except I can't get the rollover effect to line up correctly for the life of me!
In Dreamweaver Live View, the highlighted effect (an image rollover) and the link text jumps up and to the left. When I test in IE8 or Firefox 3.5.7, the rollovers for the second level don't even appear.
This is my first time using nested ul's for a menu, so I'm thoroughly confusing myself.

I tweaked with this some more yesterday. It seems to be working just fine today as far as my spacing and things lining up. I just need to shorten Black and White Copies to Black
& White Copies so it will fit within the width of my background image. I think I simplified my rules, and changed the second-level hover rule to match the first-level one.
Martyn, your rule helped me fix my problem with the highlight hover effect not working on the second and third levels. Yeah! I just didn't know how to target those nested levels. Thanks so much for your help!

HT1420 The instructions on how to authorize a computer need links. I can't find store menu and I can't find authorize this computer.

Hi - Does someone know how to authorize a computer so it will play the songs you've bought from iTunes? I've wasted nearly two hours trying. It all began when I tried to remove a previously authorized computer which broke down years ago.
Step 1 - Log in with apple ID, go into account and click the deauthorize computers button (that's what they tell you to do if you can't connect the broken computer to deauthorize it). I managed that.
Result - Now it says I have no authorized computers. Fair enough. Except I'm trying to reauthorize the one and only working computer we own so it plays the music we've previously bought, and so we can use the iTunes store credit we still have.
Step 2 - Try and reauthorize the working computer - the one I'm typing on - it was authorized earlier today - until I had to unauthorize it to remove the defunct computer with that deauthorize all button.
Anyway the instructions to authorize/reauthorize a computer say, "Go to Store menu - then authorize this computer. " Sounds simple!
It's at this point I'm stuck - the instructions are insufficient for me.There are no links to redirect you to the correct place to authorize your computer. It just says to go to store and authorize this computer. When I press store it's connecting me to store but I can't find anything that says authorize this computer - I can just see album covers etc. On the right I can see our account but I can't find store menu or an authorize this computer button in that either. If I click on our account it says that we have no authorized devices or computers. I'm logged into our account with the correct apple ID - otherwise I wouldn't be able to read that we have no authorized computers would I? And I've logged in and out several times and tried to refresh the page.
Could someone please send me a link to the Store menu so I can click on the correct page then hopefully reauthorize our previously authorized computer. We are using Windows 7, but I don't know what version of itunes - it's a fairly recent version though.
I wish they would make removing and authorizing computers easier - can't they just put a button on the main screen or something?

Display is too big, can't see the menu bar.

I have a 32" tv that i connected it to my mac pro. I see te display, but it is too big. I can't see the menu bar. I've tried changing the resolution, holding control and scrolling, and changing the display size on the tv settings. Any suggestions?

If there are no size settings on the TV that work (some TVs don't have the correct settings) see if there are Overscan or Underscan settings in the Mac's Displays system preference.
