Can I regulate my x-/y-scale on Waveform Graph?

In my program I indicate several signals successively with different frequences. I managed it with a case-structure. Can I give the WaveformGraph scales, automatically the associated attitude.
I won't set the scale always manual.

You can use the Y and X scale range property in a property node to set these properties programmatically.
Take a look at the following screenshot.

Working with dynamic scales in waveform graph - display problem

I want to use the same waveform graph in the frontpanel for different measurements. These measurements contains 1 to 8 curves, some of them I need to autoscale and others I want to use fixed scales. I wrote a method containing these functions and the functional behaviour is how I expected. But when it runs several times, LabView cannot correctly manage the graph display. Some scales are behind the graph or two scales are at the same position.
Perhaps you have a look at my example VI (LV 7.1), I generate a random Waveform and want to display a random number of curves and some of them in fixed, and some in autorange. The more I run the VI, the more the waveform graph display gets wrong. Does anybody know a solution?

Ben, thanks for the link. Christian's suggestion is right and describes a similar problem.
I solved the problem now on an other way. Each time before I change the visability of the scales I reset all settings to the default (startup) values by property nodes (YScale.Maximum, YScale.Minimum, All Visible...). Then I make the scales which I don't need unvisible, link the graphs to the prefered scales and set the Min/Max or autoscale.
Important: I got 4 scales on each side. When I want to use eg 2 scales on the left, I need to make visible scale number 1 and 2. Scales 3 and 4 can then be set to unvisible (in other words in an incrementing order).
Makeing scales visible and unvisible is a little bit nervous on the screen. So, during that process I bring a picture of the last waveform on the top of my screen and change to the graph view when all settings are done.
Now I got a really great waveform viewer with the possibility, scaling some graphs by autoscale, others by fixed scales, using up to 8 scales selectable on the left/right side, user definied colors, names and units.

How can I get the cursor value from a waveform graph

Is there a way to get the value of cursor position on the waveform graph so mathematical calculations be performed on those values. We can see the value in cursor legend, but can we extract those values for future calculations in the block diagram somehow.

Right-click on the waveform graph icon. Select Create>Property Node>Cursor>Cursor Position. That spits out a a xy cluster for the current cursor position.
If you have more than one cursor, you can either set up a loop and set the Active Cursor property node (right click the property node and select "Change to Write") or you can pull everything you ever wanted to know about every cursor with the Cursor List property node.

If I understand your question correctly, you'd like to programmatically change the scaling of your graph.
If this is indeed what you're planning to do, there is an easy solution to this. You can use a Property node for the graph, which you can create by right-clicking the graph terminal on your block diagram and selecting 'Property node' from the Create menu. With this property node, you can programmatically change the features for your graph, including the scaling. Just play a bit with it, it's extremely versatile.

How can I add a color bar scale to a CW3DGraph

I am using the CW3Dgraph control (parametric surface plot) in a LabVIEW program I have written to graph the the strength of an electromagnetic field over a sphere. The plot color map style is set to use the "color spectrum". I would like to add a color bar scale to the graph so the user can determine the approximate field strength by the color of the plot. Is there an example that could help me with this, does anyone know how to add a color bar scale, or is there some other way to indicate to the user the color's level?

How can I customize the scale of my waveform graph to suit my waveform?

I am trying to display a sinusoidal waveform on a waverform graph. I want to make sure that the graph displays only 5 cycles of the sine wave and thus changes the x-axis scale accordingly. Hence this would mean that me plot remains the same no matter what the frequency of sine wave I input, only the scale changes. How can I do this? Also once this is done, is there any way in which I can manually change the scale while labview is running to change to plot?

How to get a fixed plot area in a Waveform Graph even if the Y scale's precision change

Because I'm stacking many Waveform Graph. I want them to look the same. When I change the precision of the values in the Y Scale. The plot area doesn't keep its initial width. In the example provided. I'm changing the precision and you can see it moving. Is there a way to keep the width fixed?
I noticed that there is justification for unit label. But I didn't got the expected behavior.

The menu item is only in LabVIEW 6.1 and above because the plot area did not autoscale in earlier versions so I'm not sure exactly what kind of problem you're seeeing. Here's the original example in 6.0 format and when I run it, the plot areas stay aligned as the precision changes. Could you maybe post an example that demonstrates the behavior?

Quick question :
how to scale Y-scale in XY Graph (height about 470 pix)
so that I can see all integer numbers from 1 to say 32.
See picture. I try to use property node, but it seems that height of this XY
Graph doesnt allow me to see all numbers.

Hi,
Please see the attached Vi where I have used YScale.MarkerVals[] property node to write 1,2,...,32 values to the Y scale. Notice that the graph height is less than 470 pixels.

Negative scale on a Y log scale waveform graph.

I have a problem with my waveform graph : I would like to set Y negative scale in a logarithmic mode. How can I do that? It seems to be impossible (always set to '0' if a set negative value)! What is the problem ?

Can a waveform graph's display parameters be changed in an exe from outside that exe?

I have a kind of strange Q to post here:
I've got a quite stable test execution system still based on LV 7.11. Amoung others it has a waveform graph that shows curves for different test measurements. All be done in the exe, mostly via Refnums of that graph and property nodes in subVIs that (re-)configure the graph to show the respective signals, descriptions, scales etc. Worked fine for many months, if not years.
This morning I got a call from production floor that they got strange displays. Turned out that some of the properties of that graph became misconfigured, Example: X-sxale is now at autoscaling and the x-scrollbar is invisible. So I got a black bar when displaying ~350 s of ECG data instead of ~5 s. This never happened before and happened similar on at least two (independent) machines. They only share a mySQL-database, some shared folders on the LAN to store results, a LAN-based printer and a common source for an ini-file for test configuration.
They also had problems printing the test reports this morning.
Is there any configuration outside of my exe (for LV runtime?) that could have coused this?

I have to side with Coq Rouge on this Q.
It is possible to "reach-out and touch" if VI server is enabled on those machines but the possibility of malcious code finding the invokations required to pull that off.... unless you have a competitor that has you in their gun sights .... are remote.
There have been a couple of posting here where people have noticed odd things happening with window focus etc. In my case it seems like Windows is clcikcing my mouse for me. I have only seen this on teh Windows XP machine that I allow to get updates.
I believe the system logs should record signs of updates etc. The machines affected should be chcked.
I admit the above is of little use, but maybe it can inspire you.

I have embedded a Graph in Reports 9i.
Even afte i provided the Scale parameter as
Minimum = 0.00
Maximum = 50,0000
Increament = 10,0000
The Y-axis scale is diaplayed as 10k, 20k, 30k
i want to disply the scale as 10000 ,20000, 30000 How it is pssible ?

in the FQA-Document for Graphs on OTN (http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/reports/htdocs/faq/graph_faq_with_style.html) there's the same question (By default the Y-axis scale in my graph reads as 1K, 2K... Can I modify the scale to read 1000, 2000...? ) with the answer.
