Can i send mail to yahoo from work flow
can i send mail to yahoo from work flow if it is possible how do i do that ? is this program enough if yes how do i do that ? do i need to write or change any coding
Hi Neo ,
You can use Function module 'SO_OBJECT_SEND' from your BO Method.
For this Function module to work Email configuration should be done for
external addresses..Please check with your Basis team for necessary config.
Thank you

i can't send mail using yahoo?
Are you using BT-Yahoo or just Yahoo?
If you have been using BT-Yahoo, note that they have, in 2014, changed some users to BT mail through My BT and no longer use Yahoo - see BT Help online -
Can't Send Mail with Yahoo POP
Using mail program off of Panther and can recieve mail but can't send it. The error message I get is:
"This message could not be delivered and will remain in your Outbox until it can be delivered.
The sender address (my email address) was rejected by the server."
I contacted yahoo and they said it was a problem with the apple mail client configuration.

RE: Can't send mail with iCloud from Mac
OK so you have made everyone using a mobileme account switch to iCloud- I still use the mail icon on my Macbook Pro and every now and then
the server quits and does not allow me to send emails. I run the server doctor and only my address gets the green light. The smtp.me.com: my username
is always red. I have checked my user name and made sure my password is correct and still I m locked out of sending emails. I have time sensitive work that I need to send it to clients and there is nothing more frustrating than having to tell a client, I can't send an email right now. What can be done for this.
Here is what the details have to say:

maybe you can figure out why I can't send any email and possibly help me to fix the problem. I m not a fan of iCloud it has been nothing but a headache and I am tired of having to put my clients off. I am loosing money thanks to all of this.
Sweeney GraphicsIt's a bad idea to post your email address - it's an invitation to spam - and I've aasked the Hosts to remove it.
The first thing to try would be to sign out in System Preferences>iCloud, then sign back in again and check 'Mail' and any other data types you need in the list. This will set Mail up, hopefully correctly.
If you are still having problems accessing or sending mail go to http://appleid.apple.com and change your password, making sure that it complies with Apple's requirements: at least eight characters, of which at least one must be a numeral and one a capital letter.
Note that iCloud does not interact with any other email service. You cannot use it to check other email accounts, and you cannot send using its smtp server with any address other than your @me.com one as the 'From' address.
You should be able to set up other accounts separately in the Mail application: these would be unaffected by iCloud in any way. -
Z10 can't send email with ActiveSync from work Outlook webmail
First off, love my Z10. It was able to connect to my work's Outlook webmail with no problem. I am able to get calendar and work emails.
HOWEVER, I can't seem to be able to send email through my work account. When sending an email, I keep getting this red wrong way icon with the message:
Message Status: Acknowledgement for send was not received from Server.
What's wrong?
I checked through my Outlook web account and it shows my phone within Mobile Phone Details:
Access state: Access Granted
Policy applied: Default - Applied in full
ActiveSync version: 14.0
Is there something I need to ask my IT staff for?
Thanks.DueNorth wrote:

It appears as if your email is running on Exchange 2010, and if so then you can troubleshoot this issue yourself to see if your phone is even talking to your ActiveSync server when it is trying to send the emails. If something doesn't jump out at you during this process, this information should help your IT folks in troubleshooting the effort.
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/mstehle/archive/2013/04/29/howto-visual-guide-to-turn-on-exchange-activesync...
You can also test the full functionality of ActiveSync on your account by using Microsoft's following testing tool, which should point out any major issues:
https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/
In regards to your question about what to ask your IT staff for, as an Exchange engineer myself I don't think there is anything on the server side that would let you connect and download email but not send it. So I would want to see the logs mentioned above to see what was going on with the device to server connectivity, in conjunction to the error message you already grabbed.
There are some random "fixes" on the Internet such as this one which would be a server side configuration change, but again the more information you can supply your IT folks the better:

Can't send mail when away from home
10.5.2
I can't get my MacBook Pro to send email when I'm away from home but the connection doctor says it is connected to all of the smtp servers in my mail accounts.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Most, if not all ISPs, block the use of SMTP servers that are outside of their network (or not provided by the ISP being used for your internet connection) on Port 25. Some ISPs allow the use of an authenticated SMTP server only that is outside of their network, but some block all available ports that can be used with an SMTP server that is outside of their network.
These restrictions are in place as part of an overall effort to prevent spam emanating from the ISP's domain.
Earthlink has an authenticated SMTP server, as does a .Mac account, so you should be able to send messages with your Earthlink and .Mac accounts when connected to different ISPs. If not and you are using 25 for the SMTP server port for these SMTP servers, try using 587 for the SMTP server port instead for each.
You can only use the .Mac authenticated SMTP server to send messages with a .Mac account, but it should be possible to use Earthlink's authenticated SMTP server to send messages with any account.
If the ISP you are using for your internet connection is very restrictive in this regard, there isn't much you can do except for contacting the ISP being used for their requirement when using an SMTP server that is outside of their network, or send via webmail access for the account using a browser. -
Since the end of November, I can't send mail via Hotmail from Mail.
I have had my Hotmail account set up in Mail for a number of years and it has been working fine. Suddenly, since the end of November, I can only receive emails but not send. If I try to send it says 'connections to the "smtp.live.com" server timed out'.
I have tried specifying different ports, erasing and re-setting up the account - nothing has worked. Please can someone help?Did you set up your SPF record in your DNS? If not you can find more info about that here

Something like this is what you'll probably need
"v=spf1 a mx"
Good luck -
Can't send mail out of my iPad and iPhone using my office work mail account.
I can't send mails out of my work mail account on IPad or iPhone. I usually get error message that the server does not accept relay messages. I only get this problem on IOS devices only but on other platform I don't . Please can anyone help fix this?
Hi there Stonecold2323,

I have often received the alert box that the selected server can not send the mail and I have to change the server,or wait, or restart mail to get it to work. This is annoying, but I have dealt with it (although I'd like to know what's going on). But, now, it seems I can't send mail at all, from any server, with a restart or otherwise. It's been happening for the last day.
Can anyone lend a hand? Is it a problem with Apple? I've chosen a variety of different servers (I have many e-mail accounts set up). I've relaunched. Tried to send from various e-mail addresses (although my .mac is my default). No luck.
Thanks for the help,
J.We have the same problem here and for a few weeks we've resorted to signing in to a browser email program as mac mail's password isn't recognized by the server.

Send mails to Agents from Infotype 105 External mails / SAP Inbox
Hi,
1) Whenever there is a change in the Address the change has to be notified to HR Business partner (HRBP) and Manager (MGR)
a) The mail has to be sent to the Extermail id.
b) OR it has to be sent to the SAPID (Inbox)
2) These mail ID /SAPID will be taken from the INFOTYPE PA0105, where two custom fields will carry this Mail / SAPIDs
3) Sending mail To external mail id is been done using the Function module in the rule (Inside the function module i have written a program which will collect the mail id from PA0105 and send mails)
4) Huv can i send mail to SAPINBOX from there if i have SAPID instread of external mail IDs.
Please help me to solve .
Richard ACheck the Business Object that is relevant to you
ADDRESS Address for sending documents
ADDRESSEMP Employee Address
BUS4001 Addresses of companies and organizations
BUS4002 Address of natural oerson
BUS4003 Address of "Person in company"
After selecting the Business object check which event is getting triggered when you change address. If no event getting triggered try toi configure in SWEHR3
You can take reference of the following Wflow Template
01000015
01000080
You can just use SAP User Id in mail if email address is maintained in SU01d.

I had an imap account in my iPad and my iPhone 4. They worked just fine till about Christmas. They act like they are checking the mail and it shows there is mail to come in, but it just goes back to saying checking mail. Can't send mail either.
Update to above question:
Hello All,
To anyone with the same problem described above, on THEIR iPad (if it is running iOS 7.0.2):
Go to Settings; Mail, Contacts, Calendars; DELETE your *******@btinternet.com e-mail account, that you originally set up either using 'Other', or the 'BT' option which I am sure was in the list previous to the iOS 7 update.
Then ADD a NEW account choosing YAHOO from the list of options. DO NOT USE 'OTHER'.
Enter the correct details just as you (almost certainly) had already done in your previous attempts using 'other'.
When you see the 'verifying......' and 'the blue ticks' you should be able to exit settings and open your mail app and then receive all your 'old' e-mails again, AND be able to SEND as well.
All my 'old' e-mails, were NOT found in the 'old e-mail' folder though. THEY are still in my inbox.
So this fix worked for me.
After I deleted my account from 'OTHER' and put it in Yahoo, I like other people also ended up with more folders.
I hope this works for you on YOUR Apple devices.

Can't send mail, get message: the smtp server rejected the password. I tried lock and unlock keychain. I tried unlock captcha. Gmail works okay, it is Mail that does not. Help!!
Hi
You need to check with your ISP whether or not the send mail server (SMTP) requires a password. Some do, but many do not. When you know the correct password to send mail, then you need to tell Mail as follows:
Mail menu > Preferences > Accounts > Select the account
Click on the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) combo box, and select Edit SMTP Server List...
In the Account Information tab put the server name
In the Advanced Tab, set up the authentication information from your ISP.
Good luck

Thank you so much for your time and help Csound1 I really appreciate it.
Mac mail works perfectly fine so I don't want to screw it up by altering anything there.
However, I've checked to make sure I didn't miss anything on Outlook, but it still won't send messages. I don't know if I need to fill the "Unqualified domain" field? -
