Get all the message objects via their headers, don't call getContent
unless you want to download the whole message. You can get their message
id's and their header contents such as subjects, from etc in one go,
next to no time...
With message id, subject, from etc...
You can sort by subject and with the new array, the first message id
in the array might be the 20th item on the server

Hi everyone.
I am currently developing an application where I have to use a trigger (DAQmx). Now it can happen, that the user (who will operate the device later on) can activate the trigger without a valid source. After a timeout, he will get a quite strange message stating he either might want to wait longer (Error -200284 occurred at DAQmx Read). I would like to redefine this error.
So if this error number appears, he should get a message saying: "Your request couldn't be executed, since no valid trigger signal was found".

There are different ways. As you describe it, you'd like to cancel the occuring error (-200284) and show another message. I attach a vi with a view ways.

I'm using FF on another computer, and pages that I have used in the original have opened, except for Twitter. I give the PW and the message for saving the password appears, but Twitter's HP page doesn't open, instead the registration page is the one that does... I have tried with another system and the page opens, so I know the problem isn't Twitter's, but FF's... can you help me? I want to open Twitter here...
This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.
*check the permissions on the about:permissions page and in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

I get "an error has occurred in the script on this page" it comes up for no reason on Firefox and I can't remove the message, it then goes away on it's own after 3 minutes? how do I prevent this message coming up? I have Windows 7.

How to sort the messages in Browser Console by time
In the Browser Console the messages are sometimes out of order. This can be confusing when debugging an application. Is there an easy way to sort the messages by the timestamps?

It seems this has been the case for some time. I am seeing it in version 26.0. I can copy the messages to a spreadsheet and sort them there, but that's a bit tedious.Thanks cor-el. I notice this in the interleaving of Net and Logging messages. I haven't yet noticed a case where Net or Logging messages alone are out of order. Separate threads with different latency to posting messages makes sense.
From my perspective, hiding the timestamps isn't a solution. It obscures the problem rather than fixing it. I noticed the problem before I looked at the timestamps carefully. When I'm debugging, the order of events is sometimes essential to a correct understanding of what is happening. So, I hope that in addition to giving people the option to hide the timestamps, an option to sort the messages by timestamp will be added. If it were my choice, sorted by timestamp would be the default. -
Is there a way to selectively edit a conversation in iMessages instead of clearing the entire conversation? Like you can do on the iPhone for instance.

I am trying to access a message from early 2012. When I load previous messages It will only go back to oct 2012 and then the program stops and kicks my to the home page. Anyone know how I can get to the message? Thanks.

How can we specify the Mailbox for Notes?
In Mail.app, how can we specify the Mailbox for Notes (where the new notes will be resided)? It is now 'On My Mac'. I wish to change to my IMAP Mailbox so it sync with my iPhone by just checking email (not by syncing on iTunes).

Is there a way to delete all the messages for a user in CUC 8.6 ?
With Unity it was possible as an administrator, to delete all the messages in a user's mailbox, directly from the server (Windows). Now, with Unity Connection (8.6.1) is there a way to do the same ? When I'm logged as an administrator, I can see, for every user, the number of messages and the size (Mailbox menu) that they have in their mailbox, but what I want to do is to be able to delete all the messages for a specific user... Is it possible with CUC 8.6.1 ?

For resetting users you have the option of emptying the mailbox, resetting greetings, deleting voice names, resetting passwords, removing private lists and a number of other options you may choose. For installations where the user base “changes over” frequently such as schools this may be a nicer option. This option is also allowed for CoRes installations since it does not involve the removal of user objects from the Connection database.

Copy the words to the Mac's clipboard (Edit menu> Copy)
Paste into TextEdit
Next open the Edit > Find > Find window in Text Edit.
Highlight a space between two words and Edit menu > copy, paste into the Find field
Next create a return in the middle of your text and copy that and paste into the Replace field
Click Replace All.
Now Edit > Select All and Edit > Copy
Open a Spreadsheet program with Sort ability and paste into the second column cell from the top
place a "a" into the top column cell, select the entire colum
Sort desending order
Now if you need it out of spreadsheet format, then your going to need to copy just the data cells (not the entire column to avoid problems) and Paste "Special" as unformatted text into a word processing program
If you need to get rid of the Returns, do the opposite you did in Text Edit, replace the Returns with Spaces
A chore, but it's rare one needs to sort words into alaphabetical order.
FYI, I used TextEdit and the free LibreOffice (Spreadsheet and Word Processing) for the above effects. -
Can't install the software for the EPSON Epson Stylus Photo R2000 because it is not currently available from the Software Update server???
I am using mac osx 10.8 and now cant get print software for epson R2000 printer.After system update, my Epson Stylus SX 535WD was ''gone''. I tried in vain to add it as an IP printer (got the IP-address from the printer). The printer model is correctly recognized, software download starts -- but then the "software ... is not currently available..."
Resetting the printing system did not help. Downloading Epson Printer Drivers v2.15.1 from here
did not help either, downloading Epson Printer Drivers.
In the end, I re-installed the printer software from the original CDs. After that the printer showed up as a Bonjour Printer, and I could add it without problem.
But note: although the printer is installed now and working properly, I still get the old error message (...software ..not available...) if I try to add the printer as an IP printer !? -
I keep recieving this message for months since I upgraded to the Retina MacBook Pro, "Can't install the software for the Brother HL-4070CDW series because it is not currently available from the Software Update server." I am unable to install my Brother HL-4070CDW Printer. I have manually downloaded all the software directly from Brother as well as the Brother Printer Drivers from Apple, but still can not install
