You can buy MP3s from any online source that has what you want, and add them to your iTunes library.

You don't have to be "in" Safari for it to cancel logout.
You have several different Applications open, and any one of them may cancel logout if conditions are just right.
Quit the Applications you are no longer using and your Mac will run better and faster. And it will logout instead of cancelling.

From your description it sounds like your Hotmail account was compromised. Does anyone else know the password and could they have changed it?

You are doing all that you cn do right now other than to update the apps in iTunes on your computer and sync them to the iPad.
There has been a problem with the App Store updates tab for a few days now and we are all waiting for Apple to fix it.

Same here. I've never had trouble with this function before.
It opens the Photoshop application with all the menus/windows, but it never opens the actual image I chose to work on.
I'm on a Mac, using OS X Yosemite, 10.10.1 Lightroom is version 5.7 Photoshop is CS5, version 12.0.4

No. You can only buy current versions. At best you can download CS5 as a trial here:

Can I still get the student suites if I'm close to finishing university?

I would really like to buy the student version of the design & web premium suite, but I'm close to finishing university. Do I only need to verify I'm a student once, or does it ask every now and then til eventually it passes when I'm no longer a student? Also, will buying these versions effect publishing on a professional basis later..?

It all really depends upon exactly what software you really need, how often you need to use it, and any number of other factors that really must be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
The Creative Cloud subscription model is a great deal if you need to use a number of the products and need to keep reasonably current with your software versions. It might not be all that good a deal if all you use and need is Photoshop, for example.

Problem downloading the student edition of Lightroom and Photoshop cs6

I purchased the new lightroom and photoshop in August 2013. Because I purchased the student one I had to send a picture of my student ID card to prove I was a student and a bunch of other things to say which school I go to. Its now Feb 2014 and neither of them are downloaded to my computer and I never got a confirmation email back from adobe.
When It gives me the option to put my serial number in the boxes I always run short.
Has anyone else had this problem? please help me. I don't think I can return them now.

Payment plans are contracts. Contracts require personal information. The only way for your SSN (most people have one assigned by parents before age 1) to NOT appear on the contract is if your name does not appear on the contract and you have no legal responsibility.
