If you purchased it within the last 14 days you can return it for a full refund and then purchase the 5G.

  • Approximately how many games can fit on an 8GB iPod Touch?

I realize that games can vary in size, but can someone please give me a rough estimate as to how many games I can expect to fit on an 8GB iPod Touch?

It really depends on what kind of game it is, what kind of graphics it has, etc. Monopoly, for example, takes up 70 MB, while Scrabble takes up 10, Doodle Jump, 7, Solitare, 2.7, and the Sims takes up a whopping 97. All apps are different. On an 8GB iPod, there are about 7 GB available for user data, so you could get 7000 MB worth of apps, assuming that there is no music, photos, or videos on said iPod.

  • Can someone find my stolen iPod Touch for me?

I bought my last iPod Touch at the Bakersfield, California Valley Plaza Mall Target store, but a thief stole it from me at the Bakersfield, California Truxtun-and-S Kern County Beale Memorial Public Library when I, while walking around the second floor for some exercise, had kept it on one of the patron second-floor desks still attached to my Motion Computing Tablet PC during downloading an OS update. The last post I had added to that same iPod Touch was a video of the use of a Spencer ******** sleeve with some lubrication they don't sell in their store. Yet, that video got stuck in transit in a holding cell while a new iOS update began. If that thief ever turns on my iPod Touch, my PC will notify me of that pod's whereabouts immediately. Why did that iOS update occur right at that moment when that same ******** video was to be either accepted or rejected as too obscene? My face is not in the video, which, in spite of its sexual content, might actually be educational and perhaps also business savvy. I made and posted the video because I wanted to convey my need for a real person to make love to, certainly not an object at all. The ******** sleeve makes my ***** look ridiculously like Alice in Wonderland dressed in her rings as depicted in some of the original illustrations in that fictional title's original book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll. Why did those spies get really calm and quiet all of a sudden?! Can someone please find my stolen iPod Touch for me? If that thief turns that pod on, I might get that Target refund card, which I might use to buy another iPod Touch because I love its Photoshop Express' photo-editing and graphic-design features. If I ever get another iPod Touch, however, I won't take it to the library or the bus stop, where I won't stand around using the Internet. Instead, I'll just use it as a second camera and photo-editing tool.

I have an IPod touch (8GB) I'd like to trade it in for an iPod touch (32GB) but I don't know
How much that will cost. Does anyone know how much that trade will cost?

    A 32gb iPod touch retail is $299.
I haven't traded or anything, but I think you should
    at least get $100-$125
That means you have to have $200.
However, It is almost September, this is where .apple announces new iPods.
It's pretty likely that .apple moght announce a new Touch.
Comsidering that they didn't update the hardware at All last year.
Anyway, if you want one right now, you should consider Amazon.
They have both the black snd white versions of the 32gb iPod Touch for $272.
    That's almost $30 less.
    You should definotely consider Amazon.

  • How can i get a new ipod touch for free? i broke the screen of my old one

i recenly was going on an interview and i dropped my ipod touch and cracked the screen
. what can i do? my mom broke her ipad, the one with the camera. and she got a new one!
will apple do the same thing for me?

You can take your iPod to an Apple Store and ask, but they are not obligated to replace your iPod when you caused damage via an accident. Most likely you'll need to pay for the replacement.
    Good luck.

  • My question last time didn't get answered. Can I send in my iPod touch for a new one if I have a two year warranty?

My iPod touch 5th gen isn't charging, when I plug in my charger I've always used. It's an apple product and a message pops up saying "This accessory may not be supported" The charger isn't the problem because my mom used her iPhone with my charger and her phone charges fine with it. For Christmas, I got a portable charger and I used it the day after Christmas for a little bit and it worked, but then 20 minutes later my brother wanted to use it. So I let him use it. Then I went to go use my normal charger instead and when I plugged it in that message popped up. It's been like this sense the day after Christmas and the only way it charges is right before I swipe right to turn my iPod all the way off I plug my charger in real fast before the message can pop up. I've tried resetting my iPod, cleaning out the area it charges, and few other things. I've also tried getting help from people that work with technology at some stores. They all told me I had to contact Apple Support Communities. I'm trying to contact you guys, but last time I did it didn't solve my problem. I really want to get an answer to be able to fix it or have it replaced. I'm 13 and saved all my money on my own to get the iPod have. It took me a long time to save and I really don't it to be broken and not be able to get it replaced. Someone please help my resolve this.

You late question did get answered:on the 18th of this month. Sounds like you did not like the answers. Starting a new post without mentioning yur first post wastes people time
My iPod touch 5th gen isn't charging and when I plug my working charger in that I've always used a message pops up that says "This accessory may not be supported". So can I send it in for a new one if I have a warranty?

  • How many songs can you fit on 8GB ipod touch?

Hi - I am trying to decide between the 8GB or 32GB and whether it is worth paying the extra money for the 32GB. Thanks.

Apple don't actually provide an estimate of this for the Touch, but based on those for earlier models the (approximate) numbers are
    8GB - 1750: 32GB - 7000: 64GB - 1400.

  • Can you get a new ipod touch for free if got stolen or lost?

so guys, i would really appreaciate the support from the community, and i do thank you all for helping out in answering this question.
i would like to know the when you know this would happen, why it would/would not happen, where did you get this info and how was it resolved

thanks for answering my questions cliftonfromrichmond and lllaass
@cliftonfromrichmond somethimes getting over things can occur alot of things situations. i had a friend who has been kicked out of the house for a reason, losing the apple product. it is not to get over with when it cost almost $300-$400 and don't forget everything in life is not for free. if you think i am wrong, why don't u ask a family to see how they treat their situation, if they were to lose the apple product. don't u say getting job and then go spend what ever you want. its not right! people nowadays are getting homeless due to spending and everything should be fair to the client. even though your try to save look at it this way the person needs to pay their university fees, food, clothes and all of the essential items"Get over it and move on" to me that sentence really hurts my friends feelings and myself. you think money is from a tree and you would just take. well,NO! use some common sense here. i don't want to be argressive or anything but like seriously, that is just too far, to me a youthful person would come and type that up. saying to move get over it. that is just really stupid of you to type that like seriously. i have learnt through out my experience to listen to mature adults. and it is my business due to that fact that he is living with me and this question is my FRIENDS question and i am answering his question right now!
@ lllaass well that link incorrect i do apologise. to find the call apple store. first type in the search bar 'lost and stolen' and when you scrool down you will see 'lost and stolen' please contact your apple store immediately. sorry if the quote is not exactly 100% but thank you

  • 8gb Ipod Touch does not sync, many other problems

Hello - If anyone has advice i would greatly appreciate it -
Here's the deal. I was given an 8gb ipod touch for christmas last year. The device worked for for several months, one day however it got stuck in a loop where error (9) kept coming up saying that I needed to restore my ipod to the factory settings. I did this and when it finished verifying the installation process it would give me the same error. I took the ipod into the apple store and they tested it on their computer and it worked fine on that, however the took it anyway and gave me a free new one which came a couple days later.
Since I have had the new one i have still had the same problems. I successfully was able to get my applications onto the ipod touch however when i tried to sync the music the ipod would freeze. When I checked the available space on the ipod it said that only 1.2gb remained eventhough there were no songs on the ipod at all. I tried to uninstall and reinstall itunes many times, i do receive an error message a lot on my computer saying that bonjour service is having issues and can not be accessed, but there is nothing that I do on my computer to cause this problem. My itunes again, with the new ipod touch, is asking me to restore the ipod to the factory settings again. Anyone have any idea what is going on or how it can be fixed?
    Thanks

When it tells you new hardware is found, do you have the option to search the Internet instead of a CD?
Be sure you turn off all antivirus, zone alarm, firewall etc. Go into Control Panel and check the Security settings as well as the task bar in the lower right corner. Make sure all those are disabled. Then try again.
If still no luck, or you seem to be having USB problems, verify your USB is being recognized by XP by following these steps:
    1. From the Start menu, right-click the My Computer/Computer icon and choose Properties from the shortcut menu. The System Properties window opens.
    2. Windows XP and Windows 2000: Click the Hardware tab.
Windows Vista: Click Device Manager. If Windows needs your permission to continue, click Continue.
    3. In the Device Manager section of the Hardware tab window, click Device Manager. The Device Manager window opens.
    4. Double-click the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" entry.
    5. Double-click the name of each USB Host Controller that appears under the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" entry. A window with the name of the installed USB Host Controller appears.
    6. If necessary, click the General tab. If the USB card is working correctly, you should see "This device is working properly" in the Device Status field.
If still no luck, look at [Updating the drivers on your Windows PC|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1768?viewlocale=en_US]particularly for updates to the CD or DVD drive, graphics card, sound card.

  • 8GB ipod touch has 7GB memeory

Got an 8GB ipod touch for xmas. First one wasn't working right so returned it. Second one is fantastic! Both of the 8GB ipod touch's I have had only have had 7GB of memory. Is this correct?

    Absolutely normal:

Same is true of just about any device with memory - including your computer.

  • Well its another 3rd gen. 8gb ipod touch problem. Apparently they don't exist and that really ticks me off because the apple packaging clearly stated it was an 8gb 3rd gen. and now i can't update it. Apple lied and now im paying for it.I better get a new1

A year or two back i dad just used up all of my money to buy a brand new ipod touch 3rd gen. 8gb. I bought it at a local sams club and i even still have the packaging that says it was an 8gb 3rd gen. But Apple lied to me because it is only an 2nd gen. I looked it up and they don't exist. Now i can't get any games or anything because of thier false advertisement and ripping us off (as you can't update from iOS 4.2.1). This also happened to many of my friends and other Apple customers throughout the U.S. It was an unopened product from Apple. Since they tricked us i hold Apple accountable. I demand a refund and anyone else in this delemma please share your story. APPLE OWES ME A REFUND.

I see that you have the same problem as guys in the sites I found.
    http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/54866
    http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/55334
    http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/55180
I think most of them manage to came out either with FULL REFUND, with 75-90% DISCOUNT for iPod 4G purchase, or FREE iPod touch 4G 8GB.
I'll tell you this, it's not Apple who lied to you, it's the misled DEALERS. I've been collecting evidences and it seems from the beginning (the time of press release) until the release of iPod 4G, Apple never stated that they intended to release iPod touch 3G in 8GB.
See this image of Apple online store back in early 2010 :
The 8GB model were only UPDATED with iOS 3 however the true NEW iPod touch at that time (Apple hadn't used the terms Generation yet) was available in larger capacity. The iPod touch 8GB wasn't RENEWED but rather RE-RELEASED with lower price as previous 8GB iPod touch were more expensive. If you still not convinced enough to believe it, well search the youtube and watch Phil Schiller's presentation in 09/2009. He shown 8GB model (he didn't say new) would only experience updated price of $199 but later on, he pushed the 8GB aside and explained the NEW larger capacity models would be granted double capacity and improved performance
Hence, I'm truthfully sorry to say that the one whom to be wronged isn't Apple but dealers themselves for false advertising. I suggest you to bring up your complain to the dealer with valid evidences because if you don't, I'm afradi you might lose your chance due to the time being.
