Can I use custom query in DB Adapter with Polling

Hi All,
I am getting problem while using db adapter with polling. Can I use custom query in db adapter with polling.
I am using 2 tables; table 1 and table2
Structure of table1 is as:
File_name
Batch_id
Creation_date
Status
Structure of table2 is as:
Batch_id
Employee_ID
Last_Name
First_Name
Middle_Name
Group_ID
Site_ID
Dept_Num
Report_id
I have to use below query while polling to table1
Select count(*) as NOSEXP, Report_id
from table1, table2
where table2.batch_id =
table2.batch_id
and table1.Status= 0
group by Report_id;
I mean, when I use DB adapter to poll table1, I have to use above query.
Can you Please suggest on this.
Thanks in advance.

I will check for existance not based on Primary key but based on three other fields in the table. I think , by default DB adapter configured for MERGE checks for existance based on PK. Can we change the Primary Key in the mapping file after the DB adapter is configured. In that case , will it check for existance based on the fields , I mention.

    Can you use the I pad or I phone 4 power adapter with the I phone 5 lightning cord to charge your I phone 5 without damaging it?

    Yes, the iPad charger has more wattage so it would charge your iPhone faster then the square iPhone charger.

  • Can I use my old iPhone AC Adapter with my new iPad mini

    Just bough myself a new mini retina but was wondering if I could use my old iPhone 4 AC power adapter with it i.e. plug the new lightining to USB to AC Adapter.
    The iPad's power adapter is a bit bulky and anything so I don't end up taking a hundred power adapters on holiday tomorrow!
    Looking at the details they say:
    Old charger:
    100-240v ~ 50/60Hz 0.15A
    Output 5V == 1A
    New charger:
    100-240v ~ 50/60Hz 0.45A
    Output 5.1V == 2.1A

    Another option is that you can take ONLY the iPad mini's 10W charger with you instead of the iPhone's 5W charger. It's not that much bigger than the iPhone's 5W and will safely charge BOTH devices. It's really not recommended (& not considered compatible by Apple) to use the 5W charger to charge devices requiring a 10W or 12W charger. Yes, as was mentioned above, you CAN use the 5W to charge the mini Retina. It will take longer and the charger will likely generate more heat. Personally, I'd just take the 10W charger. It's safe and compatible (officially by Apple) with both your iPhone 4 and the iPad mini Retina.
    Compatibility for 5W charger: (scroll down to compatibility)

    The devices are not designed for transfer of that kind.  Use Photo Stream as suggested by another poster, or transfer photos to your computer (a good idea anyway since they will be lost if your device needs to be reset), then use iTunes to sync them to the other devices.

  • Help Required -- Can we use SQL Query to READ data from SAP MDM Tables

    Hi All,
    Please help.........
    Can we use SQL Query to READ(No Creation/Updation/Deletion  just Read) Data from SAP MDM tables directly, without using MDM Syndicator.
    Or direct SQL access to SAP MDM tables is not possible. Only through MDM Syndicator can we export data.
    Thanks in Advance
    Regards

    All the tables you create in Repository comes under A2i_CM_Tables in Database named as your repository name. So the tables names are fields of table A2i_CM_Tables. Now i tried it but cant make it.
    Now, I dont think its possible to extract all fields in tables and there values using select query. May be pure sql guy can do that or not.
    But there is no relation of data extraction and syndicator. Data is viewed in Data Manager. and you can also store data in a file from DM also.

  • How can we use Custom MessageBox in SelectionChangedEvent of LongListSelector for Windows Phone 8

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    How can we use Custom MessageBox in SelectionChangedEvent of LongListSelector for Windows Phone 8.
    Actually my problem is that When i am using Custom  MessageBox in SelectionChangedEvent of LongListSelector,when i am click Open(Left Button) it's working fine and navigated correctly,But when i am Click the No(Right Button) then it stayed in same page
    but all that page is in stuckup i mean that page is not working and not doing any event.
    My C#.net Code
    private async void userPageLongListSelector_SelectionChanged(object sender, SelectionChangedEventArgs e)
    if (e.AddedItems.Count > 0)
    if (userPageLongListSelector.SelectedItem == null)
    return;
    if (dbTenMin == null)
    dbTenMin = new Database(ApplicationData.Current.LocalFolder, "tenMInDBSchema.db");
    await dbTenMin.OpenAsync();
    var res = (sender as LongListSelector).SelectedItem as _10Min._10MinClass.minUserPages;
    var resIndex = (sender as LongListSelector).ItemsSource.IndexOf(userPageLongListSelector.SelectedItem);
    string selectedPageName = res.userPages.ToString();
    string selectedPageDesignUser = res.pageDesignUser.ToString();
    int selectedIndex = resIndex;
    CustomMessageBox messageBox = new CustomMessageBox()
    Caption = "Message...!",
    Message = "This form need offline datalist,Please load now.",
    LeftButtonContent = "Open",
    RightButtonContent = "No"
    messageBox.Dismissed += (s1, e1) =>
    switch (e1.Result)
    case CustomMessageBoxResult.LeftButton:
    string uidAndpwd = _10MinClass._10MinStaticClass.csUidAndPwd.ToString();
    _10MinClass._10MinStaticClass.csDataListPageDetails = selectedPageDataDetailsForSchema.ToString();
    _10MinClass._10MinStaticClass.csAllDataLists = offlineDataBaseDataListNam;
    _10MinClass._10MinStaticClass.csNotCreatedSchemaNameOfDBList = notCreatedDataLists;
    userPageLongListSelector.SelectedItem = null;
    if (dbTenMin != null)
    dbTenMin.Dispose();
    dbTenMin = null;
    NavigationService.Navigate(new Uri("/10MinformDataList.xaml", UriKind.Relative));
    else
    NavigationService.Navigate(new Uri("/10MinformDataList.xaml", UriKind.Relative));
    break;
    case CustomMessageBoxResult.RightButton:
    break;
    case CustomMessageBoxResult.None:
    break;
    default:
    break;
    messageBox.Show();
    Same custom messagebox code working in Phone_BackKeyPress event i am writing the code in Right Button that e.OriginalSource.ToString(); then it is working fine.
    But It is not working in Selection Changed Event in LongListSelector control in Windows Phone 8.
    Please help me,as soon as possible.
    Thanks & Regards,
    SrinivaaS.

    What happens if you leave the implementation for LeftButton empty as well , does the page gets stuck in that case also, if you press left button?
    i.e.
    CustomMessageBox messageBox = new CustomMessageBox()
    Caption = "Message...!",
    Message = "This form need offline datalist,Please load now.",
    LeftButtonContent = "Open",
    RightButtonContent = "No"
    messageBox.Dismissed += (s1, e1) =>
    switch (e1.Result)
    case CustomMessageBoxResult.LeftButton:
    break;
    case CustomMessageBoxResult.RightButton:
    break;
    case CustomMessageBoxResult.None:
    break;
    default:
    break;
    messageBox.Show();

  • Can we use custom subtype (9001) in 0105?

    Hi,
    Can we user custom subtype 9001 in 0105 to store the user ids for ESS&MSS?
    I know by default the standard function modules of ESS will look for a user id in 0105 with subtype 0001. But 0001 has been used by some other portal pointing the same back end. we cannot use the same user id for ESS.
    For ESS, can we use custom subtype for the user ids? Is there any configuration to handle this scenario? How do we link the new portal should validate the user ids in custom subtype.
    Advance thanks for your valuable input.
    cheers
    Jayanthi

    Hi Kirsten,
    Thanks for your feedback.
    Definitly I dont want to make changes to any of the standard programs. Changing the existing portal is also a major impact in the project.
    Is there any configuration option available for ESS to point to the custom subtype 0105? We are in requirement gathering phase,the DEV environment is yet to be ready.
    If you find any info, please let me know.
    cheers

                    This query is failing due to TEMP issue (TEMP SPACE out of space)
    My TEMP tablespace is 70GB and no one is using TEMP space while this query is in execution.
    PGA=16 GB.
    What i can see from execution plan is : Two large resultsets AGG (13Million) and DET (135 Million) is being joined HASH JOIN BUFFERED. Which is getting spilled to TEMP space causing TEMP outage.
    Is there any way, i can re-write this query (probably using SUB QUERY FACTORING...WITH CLAUSE) so that reduce two times access to TEMP2_SL_SNAPSHOT_ENTRIES table. TEMP2_SL_SNAPSHOT_ENTRIES is 12 GB non partition table and i cannot use any other filter to restrict rows from this table.

    Adding more information here :
    Inner sub query (Which forms DET-bottom)

  • How can I use custom repeating event in my iPad Air calendar iOS 8.0.2

    How can I use custom repeating event in my iPad Air calendar iOS 8.0.2?

    Unless something has changed, you can't. The iPad has limited ability to make repeats. However if you make the custom repeats in another program you can send them to or import them into your calendar and the iPad will respect the custom repeat.

  • Can I use apogee jam on ipad 4 with lightning 30 pin adapter?

    Can I use apogee jam on ipad 4 with lightning 30 pin adapter?

    OKAY Mikivai73, here's what I found: no less than TWO cheap alternative-brand imitation connectors that go 30-pin to lightning, failed to even make apogee jam device light up blue.
    Spent hours mucking with it.  Finally tried proper genuine apple usb to lightning connector with the OTHER cable that comes in the apogee JAM box, and it worked straight off!
    So, I am buying a genuine pukka APPLE 30-pin to lightning adaptor in the full expectation it will work, and have left questions for the Ebay guys who sold the two cheap (less than 5 pounds sterling) alternate adaptors.
    For info, I got the Ipad 4,and the cheap adapters, one looks like the real apple one, right down to packaging, the other is a stumpy little thing, no cable just a plastic connector, with 30 pin one side, lightning other side.
    That's it, I am ordering from the apple store now, can't be more certain than that.
    best regards from sleekitwan.
