Hi there.
Sorry if this might seem like a stupid question but I'm trying to save money lol. I have two test stations, each station has it's own computer and power supply. The power supply powers a certain device and the computer communicates with it via an USB to RS422 serial converter. I am using the 2 analog outputs on my NI-USB 6008/6009 DAQ to control the 2 power supplies. AO 0 to control the power supply on station #1 and A0 1 to control the power supply on station #2. I can control these 2 power supplies just fine with one computer connected to my DAQ. But i need each computer to be running tests independently. I only have 1 DAQ but 2 computers, is there way to use this DAQ on both computers???

No. Because there is no way you can take one USB-DAQ and plug it into two computers at the same time.
You would probably be better off having one PC that communicates with the USB-DAQ and have your application on one computer talk to the other computer to pass commands and get back data from the USB-DAQ, probably by way of TCP/IP.
I would actually make an application that only handled the USB-DAQ operation. Then have the program that runs on each computer be the same and talk to the USB-DAQ application which would act like a TCP/IP server. The program that is on one PC would call the IP address of the other PC. The program that is on the same PC as your USB-DAQ server would just call the local host to establish communication.

If there is no Manually manage music setting, it must be a 1st or 2nd shuffle, not a 3rd or (current) 4th gen shuffle. The older shuffles act like simple playlists. You can only associate that shuffle with ONE iTunes library at a time (just as a regular playlist in iTunes belongs only to one iTunes library).
So, the answer is no. However, you can put the songs on the shuffle currently into the new computer's iTunes library, then sync the shuffle to that library.
For songs that you purchased from the iTunes Store, you can re-download them on the iTunes Store Purchased screen. You can also use iTunes to transfer songs you purchased from iPod to computer.
For other songs, you cannot use iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer. But there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
Once the song files are on your new computer, add them to the iTunes library by dragging the them (or the folder containing the song files) to the iTunes window. After confirming everything is there, you can sync the shuffle to the new computer's iTunes library.

Yes. You will need to configure Time Machine preferences on each computer to backup to the same drive. Note that you cannot connect the backup drive to both machines at the same time.

I just bought a new laptop and had to download itunes again but when i hook up my ipod it tells me that that ipod is already synced with another computer (my main desktop comp.). Is there a way to use my ipod with two different computers, or can you just use one computer at a time?

You can use more than one computer, but you'll have to load your iPod MANUALLY if you do, otherwise it will keep erasing things to match the library it's hooked up to.

How can I use sysnonym to hide two different views?

My question is how can I use 2 different users to login and they point to different views. However, in the program level, the view name always stand for "Test_View".
I try to meet the requirements and do the followings:
Step 1: In user A account, it creates two different views and also grant select to User B and User C respectively.
Step 2: Login User B and create public synonym called "Test_View".
Step 3: Login User C and create public synonym called "Test_View".
I encounter the problem in Step 3 which is public synonym called "Test_View" is already exist. So, anyone can tell me once login and it will depend on which view you can see on program level.

As 399811 told you, you have to create private synonyms.
"CREATE SYNONYM ...." instead of "CREATE PUBLIC SYNONYM ...."
the private synonym has to created in each user.

Alfonso, let me give you a warning. What you want to do should work, but does not work well for me. Here's my story:
I have Time Machine (TM) backing up a MacBook Pro to a Time Capsule (TC) on my home wired network. First backup (BU) took 24 hours. Subsequent incremental backups were very fast and convenient. All was working well.
About 6 weeks setting up TM/TC, I had to take my MacBook in for repairs. Being paranoid, I wanted a second backup, so I connected the computer to an external LaCie drive via FW800. Second BU also took 24 hours, even over the MUCH faster firewire connection. That really hacked me off, so I got CarbonCloner and made a bootable image on another external LaCie drive over FW800. That took only 2 hours.
I got the computer back from Apple after repairs and directed TM to start backing up to the original TC drive (no changes to the drive during repair). The TM software decided it had to do another initial backup! As I write this, it's been running 36 hours and has completed only 19 of 76 GB. This is MUCH MUCH worse than the first initial backup.
I want to like this TM software because of the convenience, but it is really crap and unusable in my opinion. With my setup, I simply cannot switch to a second backup drive without triggering another lousy initial LONG BU process. Frankly, I really regret buying TC and trying TM.
I used to use Retrospect with great success with the two external LaCie drives, but they went into the toilet when EMC bought them and spun them out. The quality of the software has really suffered and it is very buggy now.
So, unfortunately, it looks like my best strategy is to use CarbonCloner and the two LaCie drives.

Yes, I have the software installed on 3x PCs. Only two can be signed in at a time. When you try to sign into a 3rd you will have the option to sign out of all other devices. It works great but this is kind of a pain if you switch back and forth regularly.

May I suggest/request upping the maximum number of PCs you can be signed into to say 5x computers? This would still be an individual license where you're only using 1 at a time, but signing out and back in constantly is getting to be a pain.

What happens if I enable iTunes Match in a different account on my Mac Pro. I am already set up with iTunes Match because I was travelling and I wanted to use my iPhone on the road but not fill up the storage. I turned off iTunes Match in my primary account (user of course) becuase I have all the "original" music in that library. Log in to both user accounts and launch iTunes. Turn on Home Sharing from the 'Advanced' menu at the top of the screen.
Leave iTunes running and use Fast User Switching to switch between user accounts. You will notice that each user's library of media is available to the other user and you can copy media from the other user to the current user's account.

Actually I am totally new in ADF world and I am trying to implement some applications in ADF.
I created an UI based on some 3 tables(there is foreign key relation between them) and some other tables. I am able to modify and save my application if there is any data in all the tables.
My Actual issues are
1) I removed all the data from the tables. There is a submit(CreateInsert) button, what I expected is on click of the button I should see all the fields in editable mode. But I was able to see only few fields and also in readonly mode. So here my issue is how can i create and save these data.
2) Consider on my landing page I have just CommandLink/CommandButton. After clicking that page I should get the above screen in create mode(I mean to say all fields in editable mode). How can achieve this?

Can I use my Nike+ with 2 Different Computers: my home mac and work PC?

I use my Nike+ with my Nano on my home iMac and track my runs on Nike+.com. Works great. However, I travel for work and will be back on the road next week with my work PC. I don't have itunes loaded on my work PC (not allowed - its not "corporate" software).
So, will my Nike+ and Nano store a week's worth of workouts till I can get home and connect to my home iMac? Is it possible to somehow upload to Nike+.com from my windows PC without loading iTunes?
I want to track all of my workouts, even when I travel.

I have the same question. On a regular basis I use my Nike+ with my desktop. However, I travel quite often and run while out of town, and would like to also use my laptop to send my run info to Nike+. I have looked on the Nike+ website and also found no answers. I do not want to sync my music on my laptop to my Nano, only the run info.
