Hi,
It is possible to clear multiple invoices with one incoming payment, when the amount entered is equal to the amount assigned.
You can clear SD invoice related accounting document also using F-28.
If you are getting a runtime error, check whether system runtime needs to be increased in case you are trying to clear a large number of documents. Hope this will help you, otherwise, check for SAP notes. (Note no.484355 / 663610 may be of help to you.)
Cheers.

  • Incoming payment to clear specific invoice

    Hi Guys
I am wondering is it possible to post an incoming payment to clear a specific invoice.

    Hi,
Use F-28 to post the customer payment. If you want to clear specific invoice against payment then in F-28
fill all the necessary details on the screen then select "Document Number" under the "Additional Selection"
located at the right bottom of the screen and then click on the Process Open Item System will ask you for the document number, so give the customer invoice or document you want to clear payment against.
    It will be done................

  • Link incoming payments to A/P invoices

    Hi All,
I have a requirement where i need to make mandatory to link A/P Invoices with Incoming Payments.
This means no incoming payment must be made without an invoice. can anybody give me the all possible ways to do this???????????????????
Ive tried by making on account check boy inactive, but this dosnt help me out bcoz if there is any excess payment then the balance excess amout to be gone into on accout.
    Thanks in advance.......
    Sree.

    Hi,
Are you sure you need to link incoming payments with A/P invoices?  Only outgoing one would link to those invoices.
I think you must refer to the later because you are trying to stop manual payment.  If this is the case, it is doable through SP Transaction Notification.
You could search this forum first to find many threads already discussing it a lot.
    Thanks,

  • Post an incoming payment ( check ) against an invoice

    Hi
I am trying to post an incoming payment ( cheque ) against an invoice. I keep getting no matching records found ( odbc error -2028 )
Has anyone got a simple example I could use as a comparison please ?
    Thanks
    Regards Andy

I had a similar problem.  Just make sure you have the proper Invoice number and that everything exist in SAP
This error means that to create your incoming payment, the SDK needs everything created prior to make an incoming payment.   Exactly as if you would do it in SAP
So just make sure everything is there and that you refer to the right Invoice
    Good luck

  • Incoming Payment Applied to Wrong Invoice can not be unapplied

    Hi:
A Very annoying missing functionality in SAP Business One Payment Entry screen.
When you receive a payment (Incoming payment) - for a customer and apply to an invoice - but later realized that it was applied to a wrong invoice and we need to cancel the application of the payment and re-apply to a new invoice - the solution given to me by the Support Center is to cancel the payment altogether and re-enter the payment.
This will create unnecessary entries in to the customer ledger and the statement will look very odd with those entries.
I believe that this is a very genuine requirement and it is being addressed by all the small end software (like Tally, Pastel, Quickbooks etc) - when the customer moves from one of these software to SAP B1 - they expect small things like this is taken into consideration

    Receivable adjustment works like this:
    Current situation:
    Customer                        Revenue                               Receivable
    100  |                                  | 100                                100|
After receivable adjustment, it looks like this:
Customer                        Revenue                               Receivable                  Bad Debt Expense
    100  |                                  | 100                                100|                                        |
                                                                                            100                        100
Receivable adjustment does not adjust the customer balance/open items.  It only takes $ from the receivables and moves them to a separate g/l account.

  • Clear Multiple invoices document against single payment amount frm customer

    Dear Experts,
There is a requirement in the business process like we file multiple invoices to customer account and he pays the amount in single payment. So what we need here is to clear all the invoice document in customer account against that payment.
Please tell is there anyway to achieve it at FI level.
    Best Regards
    Arun Rai

    Hi,
You can clear them by defining clearing rules in OB74 for customer account type D. You should have your customer posting for collection based on a defined criteria based on some assignment number or something else that you will give in OB74..Based on the criteria that you will specify in OB74 system will match the open item invoices against their payment document and clear them accordingly. e.g you give assignment number  ZUONR in OB74 for clearing criteria..It means that all of your invoices should have the same assignment number in Invoices as of the assignment number entered in Collection or payment document. Afterward you can clear customer in F.13 ..
I hope this will help you.

  • Multiple Incoming Payments for the same Invoice

My client has an unusual situation.  They are running SAP B1 version 8.8.  They receive multiple incoming checks for payment against the same invoice.  They receive them each month, so this is not a situation where they receive installments against the same invoice.  They want to enter the multiple checks into one Payment Means document, but when they start a new row, the Due Date increments to the next month.  This will cause them to change the date on all but the first row in the Payment Means form.  Is there a way to prevent the Due Date from incrementing to the next month?

    Gordon,
Does FMS mean formated search?  My client has to enter several checks for payment against one invoice each month, so this will be a common occurrence.  I assume you are suggesting creating a formatted search that would place the current date into the Due Date field when the row is updated.  Correct?

I just want know that from which invoice reference, incoming payment has been posted.

  • Query report for details of incoming payment received based on invoice

    Hi expert
Can any one Improve this query !!!

    where T0.DocDate >=[%0] and T0.DocDate <=[%1]
For one particular invoice no 88  Amount INR 1345  the customer paid  two cheques of amount INR 1000 ( Incomining payment no 21) dated 10/10/2009 and INR 345( Incoming payment no 25)  dated 12/10/2009.
But My problem is this query showing only last one that is amount INR 345 of incoming payment no 25 of date 12/10/2009
    Regards
    Arun K Singh

    Hi Arun,
    Couple of things
RCT2 is the table which has links to the Invoices associated with a incoming payment, so you need to include that.  Also the relation is between OINV and RCT2..so check this query
NOTE: You date range for selection in the WHERE statment is Invoice Date.  You should consider using T1.DocDate which will be receipt rate.
The SQL below is just to show you the relationship between the tables.  Based on the results requirement you will need to work with your JOINS
SELECT T0.DocNum as 'AR Invoice Number',T0.DocDate as 'Posting Date', T1.CardCode, T1.CardName,
T0.DocTotal as 'AR Invoice Total',T0.VatSum as Tax,T1.CashSum, T1.TrsfrSum, T2.DocNum as 'Incoming Payment Number ', T2.DueDate as 'Check Due Date' ,
T2.CheckNum as 'Check Number', T2.CheckSum as 'Amount'
    FROM [dbo].[ORCT] T1
    INNER JOIN [dbo].[RCT1] T2 ON T2.DocNum = T1.DocNum
    INNER JOIN [dbo].[RCT2] T3 ON T3.DocNum = T1.DocNum
    INNER JOIN [dbo].[OINV] T0 ON T0.DocEntry = T3.DocEntry
    WHERE T0.DocDate >= '[%0]' and T0.DocDate <= '[%1]'

  • F-28 Post Incoming Payments (Thousands of AR Invoices)

    Dear expert,
Transaction F-28 helps to clear AR invoices by automatic creation of accounting document and line items.
It allows for additional selections such as document number, posting date, amount, reference and etc...
However, this only allow for 16 entries each time.
My requirement is posting thousands of open items by selection field Reference and post exchange rate difference.
Can anyone suggest on how to do this?
If need to write ABAP program, I would like to run the program in background due to performance issues.
I had search all forum threads, most of the threads suggest on using FM BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST, but this need to define the posting keys and posting line items. F-28 can automatically create those line items including exchange rate difference and post to correct g/l account. It also helps to clear those outstanding AR invoices which can't do by this function module.

    Dear Sandipan Das,
You are right. This is the first assumption when I search through all forum threads. But I wonder whether something will be missed out in case I run the program in background.

  • Down payment not cleared with invoice trans f-54

    Hi All,
I need help with down payment clearing with invoice. Purpose is to have open residual item for not paid invoice part.
    I made such steps:
    1. Vendor down payment request, trans F-47, (for instance) 90Eur
    2. Make down payment, trans F110, 90Eur
    3. Vendor invoice receipt, trans. FB60, 115Eur
    4. Clear down payment, trans. F-54.
The problem is that clearing document is created, but actually down payment for 90Eur and invoice for 115Eur are not cleared, and residual item for 25Eur is not created. Using payment program (F110) again system suggest to pay whole invoice sum - 115Eur - that is quite dangerous.
I will be very thankful for your help.

    Hi,
Have you cleared down payment against the invoice no. in F-54 ?
If you do so, there will be a link between  the invoice & down payment document no. During F110, system will select both the documents together.
Also check in T code FB00 (Editing options) under "Open Items" tab, whether "include invoice reference" check box is selected.
If not, then select this check box & try the transaction once again.
    Hope this helps you.

  • Can one incoming payment matches with few BP code's invoices?

    Hi,
My scenario is the HQ paying for the branch offices in one cheque but the branch offices having their own business partner code in the database. Can user make one incoming payment and select the invoices to match from few different business partner?
I realised this can be done if we use the Consolidate BP function in BP master but this will make the statement of accounts to be consolidated as well. Anyway that if this function is activated but statement of accounts does not combined? Kindly advise, thanks.
    Regards,
    MH

    Hi,
What i mean is that can all those BP's statement is not consolidated into one statement instead of separate?
Current setting is once consolidate BP function is activated, all related BP's statement will be consolidated. Any workaround to separate the statement?
    Thanks.

  • Double invoice in incoming payment

    Hi All,
The issues I have are paid/credited is filled after incoming payment canceled. and two invoices with same number in the incoming payment row detail. Checking in GL report, there is only one invoice.
    The scenario :
    1. Create advance payment # 999
    2. Create A/R Invoice # 222
    3. Link payment # 495 to A/R Inv # 222 usinglink invoice to payment feature
    4. Cancel payment # 999 because wrong Customer code
The results are the 1st paragraph. Have you had experience the same issue ? Pls share to me. Hope it could be from SAP support or maybe work around. Tks

PS. SBO version 2005A SP 01 PL 27

    Hi Jimmy
Sometimes I find that when a payment is cancelled it places an amount in the "Payment on Account field" and incorrectly updates the individual lines, even though this does not appear to agree with the Customer transaction list.
We have only been ablt to resolve this by waiting until the next payment comes it and then netting of the lines with an amount in Payment on Account to clear the Incoming Payment screen back to normal.

  • Create Incoming payment from an A/R Invoice

    Hello,
I am on SBO2005A SP01 PL39 and do not find the option to create Incoming payment from an existing Invoice. When I open an existing A/R Invoice and click on CopyTo it shows only A/R Credit Memo. I remember seeing the Incoming Payment option in the earlier patch. Does this mean I cannot create an Incoming Payment based on an A/R Invoice?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sheetal

    Sheetal,
Just to clarify, the Incoming Payment has never been available as a Copy to option from Invoice.
The Incoming Payment resides inside the Banking module.
From Main Menu > Banking > Incoming Payment ...Incoming Payment
The only time the Payment Means window will automatically open when you Add the Invoice is when the Payment Terms of the Business Partner is setup to open Payment Means window.
