Can Macbook pro 2012 with GT650M support 3d vision via bootcamp

can Macbook pro 2012 with GT650M support 3dvision via bootcamp
For sure GT650 is 3d vision supported, but anyone ever made test that you
can watch 3d movie via windows under bootcamp on new macbook pro
Thanks..

After updating NVidia driver newer than 267.76,
I got black screen after Windows Logo shown during reboot.
After countless annoying tests,
I installed the newest NVidia 285.79 driver without problem finally.
My original prefered display configuration:
link the primary monitor with HDMI port
I already followed the GeForce Driver Installation Guide, step by step,
http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=169555
but there's still black screen after reboot.
THEN, I TRIED TO USE mini-DISPLAY PORT INSTEAD AND REBOOT AGAIN,
video signal was connected to my DELL 2707W(only DVI port)
by MiniDP to HDMI adapter/HDMI-DVI cable.
The display is NORMAL NOW !!
Root Cause assumption:
Maybe the driver newer than 267.76 always regard miniDP as primary signal output port,
even if you set the HDMI port as primary.
I think this is a serious bug, but no solution after mote than 30 driver updating.
The following configuration worked on my Mac mini 2010 system:
mini─miniDP to HDMI adapter─
HDMI cable to HDMI splitter─┬HDMI-DVI cable─Dell 2707
                                              └HDMI cable─ 3D projector
but I found that the configuration can't play 3D video...
So I changed the configuration to:
Mac─miniDP to HDMI adapter─HDMI-DVI cable─Dell 2707
      └HDMI cable─ 3D projector
For your reference.

  • Intrepid ValueCAN3 usb2 type device not supported on Macbook Pro 2012 with USB3

I cannot use an Intrepid CS ValueCAN3 with a USB2 interface on a Macbook Pro 2012, which has a USB3 interface.
I am running Windows 7 Pro, Service Pack 1, under BootCamp 4.0
I keep my Window 7 Pro updated with Windows Update.
I called Intrepid CS, and they said there are issues with USB3 and support is needed by some computers that have USB3 interfaces.
The ValueCAN3 is an automotive diagostic tool, that interfaces to Windows computers via USB2.0.
    More info at:
    http://www.intrepidcs.com/
    fhttp://www.hkaco.com/CAN/intrepid/ValueCAN3.pdf
The ValueCAN3 uses a FTDI serial-to-USB chip to handle communication.
FTDI chips make it easy to add a USB interface to a device.
    More info at:
    http://www.ftdichip.com/
Other devices, such as USB 2.0 flash drives, work fine.
Are other having problems with USB 2.0 devices on a MacBook Pro 2012?
Is anyone using a device that uses the FTDI chips?
    Anyone have ideas to try?
I want to use this Macbook Pro for both Mac OSX and Windows.
I tell people I wanted a high-end Windows Laptop, so I bought a Macbook Pro to run Windows on it.
I have also call Apple for support, but they claim that this is not their problem to solve.

I was told that the Intrepid tools (ValueCAN3 and Intrepid neoVI Fire) that use a FDTI USB to serial interface, would work on Windows 8 on the Macbook. I wanted to avoid Windows 8. I broke down and installed Windows 8 Pro on the Macbook, installing over Windows 7. The two devices now work - but the trackpad does not work. I saw a reccomendation to install trackpad++, along with PPA (Power Plan Assistant), it does not work for my macbook pro 2012.
When will Apple support Windows 8? (an answer that will not be answered here)
The problem is basically Windows 7 does not support USB3, so I installed Windows 8 which does support USB3.
Now with Windows 8 Pro installed, the trackpad does not work.
I also cannot run the Windows Experience Index.
    Status Summary:
I can use the USB3 ports under Windows 8 pro.
Intrepid USB2 based interfaces work now.
Trackpad does not work under Windows 8 Pro on the macbook pro (2012) using Bootcamp 4.0.
And Yes, I hate Windows 8 Pro. Windows 7 works, Windows 8 - I just don't get it.

  • New MacBook Pro 2012 with battery health at 92%

    Hi everyone!
Few weeks ago I bought brand new MacBook Pro (2012, 13"). After 12 cycles the battery health significantly decreased to 92%. Quite unexpected, isn't? Could you advise me what can be a problem? AC adapter, socket in my wall or something else?
To answer your questions, I did not put the battery below 10% during this time.
Thanks in advance for any hints!

You have to take the computer to the Apple store to have it checked out.

  • Does macbook pro 2012 non retina support 16gb?

Does the macbook pro (mid June 2012, non retina) support ram of 16gb?
Will it be capable of it or would it slow the computer down.
Even though the website of apple says that its maximum capacity is 8gb,
what happens if I install 16gb into it?

You are welcome. The models have been tested by outside RAM vendors to operate with 16gB. There may have been an update since that eating, but doubtful.
You can check at http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/Apple_MacBook_MacBook_Pro/Upgrade to see if they recommend more RAM.

I'm looking for a laptop that will last me a couple of years which is why I'm upgrading to SSD without losing performance. I usually game on my Mac so I want a laptop to handle that, handle programs in the background and writing or reading without losing speed, I also need a laptop that has fast boot time.
I will be using the laptop mainly for school and running programs such as iWork and mircrosoft office as well as websurfing and video streaming thanks for any advice.

I hope others pipe in with their comments, but the first suggestion is to visit your local Apple Store and try out the units. Trying them out can make a difference in your decision.
This is how I'd try to make sense of this:
    MBP 13 2012:
Solid all-purpose portable at a decent price, and even has a 240GB SSD. If you don't load it with tons to videos, this will more than fit your needs as a student and websurfer. A little heavier than the others here, but it's a solid package that's stable. Great if you need to use the CD/DVD.
    MBA 13 2012:
Also good, similar specs, notably lighter. Notes are easy to take, and easier to carry on long campus treks. If you're not near a power source, the battery life may be a concern. If you need a CD/DVD, you can connect it when you need it - but it's extra. Servicing a MBA is more difficult.
    MBR 15 2012:
Beautiful display, packed with performance. No DVD/CD drive, NVIDIA performance is unproven, kind of pricey, the first generation of a device; it's going to get better over time. Can't be serviced in any way by the user; the Apple Store is your only option. Now's not the best time to get the MBR.
    MBR 13 2012:
    Same comments.
I'd say the MBA is a good pick. Few moving parts, therefore more reliability. Low heat. You can always attach a CD/DVD drive via USB. Intel Graphics is solid; no problems there. Plenty of capacity for your needs. And the display is bright. MBA 13 or 11, IMO.

  • Macbook pro 2012 not fully supporting samsung 4k monitor

    hi
I bought the Samsung U28D590 monitor to use it with my Macbook Pro Retina mid 2012 model. though it connected comfortably, but the feel of the screen resolution was very poor. I checked it up with the setting, it showed me "best to fit U28D590 " and also showed 60 hrz. but somwhow, it looked like i was using a normal monitor, never felt like using a 4 k display.
    Is something wrong. Need help.

You have posted to an iPad forum, I have requested the mods to relocate your post to a forum that you may get better answers.

  • HT3669 Can MacBook Pro work with my HP Photosmart C4680 printer?

Will I ever be able to print in colour from my MacBook Pro using my HP Photosmart C4680 printer?
At last it solved my problem! When I first tried to print a document in colour all I produced with my new MacBook Pro was words and pictures in shades of grey! I downloaded software and updated drivers but still only shades of grey! I hadn't named my computer as HP Photosmart C4600 series from the drop down list. At first I saw only Apple printers listed and hadn't realised that I could scroll down below all of them and find the correct HP printer series listed. I thought because my computer had recognised the printer as HP Photosmart C4680 as soon as I connected it, showing that as soon as I pressed 'print' I didn't need to do any more than update the software. HP's help page got me there successfully in the end! I am soooooo pleased!

I noticed that you said you uninstalled the printer, but you didn't mention resetting the print system.  Resetting the print system will reset the drivers the Mac has installed and make them work like they should.  Give this a try and see if it gets the printer working like it should.  The document below will expalin more about doing this.
Basic Printer Troubleshooting Steps for Mac
If that doesn't help, see if you are using the AirPrint driver, or the printers driver.  By default 10.8 uses the AirPrint driver if the printer supports it, so I'm betting that's the driver you're using.  If it is, try using the driver for the printer itself.  To do this, access Print and Scan.  Click the + sign to add a new printer.  Select the printer from the list.  Click the dropdown next to Use and select the 7515's driver.  Let me know what happens.
I am a printer tech for HP.

  • I want to buy a new macbook pro 2012, can i sell my old macbook and put some more money to buy the new one???

I want to buy a new macbook pro 2012 with retina display, can i sell my old macbook and add some more money to buy the new one???
Is there any deal like this?

Apple has a rebuy and recycle program, but you won't get much for your old MBP from that program. Your best bet is to just sell it yourself (I used eBay) and use the money you get to buy your new computer.
    Good luck,
