Can not enable PHP support for project...
Hello All,
I can create a Flex/PHP project but when I go to the project - Properties - Flex/PHP Support I get the following message "The currently displayed page contain invalid values" and the page never opens - which makes it impossible to see said values. OK, right click on project, go to 'add/change project type' and change to a flex project. Go back to 'add/change project type' and select 'add flex and php project type', which shoots you back to Properties - Flex/PHP Support page. Now I've got the fields available for editing, but no combination of values or the order in which I submit them will validate??? I'm running Flash Builder as root and I recieve this command line output everytime try to validate or select a project via the "PHP Project name:' drop down list:

Thanks for your help; the problem is fixed. I believe your suggestion targeted the source of the issue, but I ended up upgrading my OS so it's really hard to say. Also, I'm running the standalone version of FB for PHP.
For any interested folk:
- first I updated Java on my machine but the no luck... got this:

Seems like the apple distribution of Java 1.6 is either different between 10.5 and 10.6 or my install of Java 1.6 was faulty; someone knows, just not me.

Can not enable fonts for User library in Font Book
Hi all,
For some reason I can not enable the user library in the font book using the options in the font book. This means that the User Library is "off". I have tried the following but none of them have worked:
* Reboot.
* Delete the Font preferance file.
* Undo the font book via booting in safe mode and then rebooting in normal mode. Delete the trash which contains the font cache.
* Manually insert fonts into User>Library>Fonts and restart.
* Manually empty user fonts folder and re-insert fonts back in.
* Delete the user fonts folder and re-create it and insert all fonts back in
Have also tried a few combinations of the above but none of them have worked. I do not want to use the system library fonts folder as this machine is on a network and the users should not have admin rights to their machines.
I have also checked the user rights to the user fonts folder and all seems ok there.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem so that I can enable the User font library?
Any help would be much appreciated.

SlackI have found that for me, on both a PowerMac G5 and an Intel iMac, both running 10.4.8 with all updates, turning on FileVault reliably causes the problem. I.E., if FontBook is working fine on an account which does not have FileVault turned on and I turn on FileVault, then the User collection in FontBook is greyed out and Enable "User" doesn't work. If FileVault is on, none of the suggested work-arounds that I have read about in these discussions or in Apple's support articles help.
Sometimes, turning off FileVault is sufficient. Other times, I must turn off FileVault and follow the work-around in http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302551 . Sometimes, I must turn off FileVault, throw away the FontBook preferences and restart. -

It sounds like you have Soundtrack Pro installed but you cannot select your external audio device as an input. I recommend the troubleshooting steps from the article named:

Update to the latest software versions
From the Apple () menu, choose Software Update and make sure that you have the most recent updates for your versions of Soundtrack Pro 3, QuickTime, Compressor, Pro Application Support, and other important system files. Note: Be sure the application is in the Applications folder and is named Soundtrack Pro before running Software Update.
Check compatibility and driver versions for third-party devices

Try a different Multitrack Project or Audio File Project
Sometimes project files can become damaged, causing unexpected behavior in Soundtrack Pro. To create a fresh project, choose File, then New and select Multitrack Project or Audio File. Test to see if the issue is resolved in the new project.
Delete the User Preferences
You can resolve many issues by restoring Soundtrack Pro to its original settings. This will not impact your project files. To reset your Soundtrack Pro user preference settings to their original state:
Quit Soundtrack Pro if it is open.
In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder from the menu bar.
Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field.
Remove the "com.apple.soundtrackpro.plist" file from the Preferences folder.

You don't have to remove everything that was installed with Soundtrack Pro, so follow the steps below to completely reinstall a fresh copy of Soundtrack Pro. Note: Make sure that you have your installation discs handy before beginning.

Open the Terminal application and enter the following commands one at a time and an administrator password when prompted. Note: The commands are case sensitive.

When finished installing, choose the Apple () menu, then Software Update to update your software to the latest version.
Open Soundtrack Pro to verify that the issue has been resolved.

This was possible (drop dead easy) through MCX. It was one checkbox. If you are supporting older machines, you might still be able to push out MCX settings. My experience with 10.8.x is that MCX is inconsitent at best.
In Profile Manager... Best suggestion is to look at creating a custom profile. For what it is worth, this is the default MCX setting if the Simple Finder option was set on a user. Note the InterfaceLevel = Simple.

Since updating to Firefox 3.6.15, I can no longer print coupons from SmartSource. The error message is that Java is not detected. The check box is longer showing in the Options/Content of this version of Firefox, so I can not enable it.Same PC as I used to post the question. I have a problem with my iPhone 5 stopped working the sleep / power and simultaneously refused to obey the HOME button. I can not use either one or the other. I can not enable or disable the device, display lights up when you plug the charger. same display works fine as it is surprising. or maybe someone knows what is the reason for this? is there any way to solve this problem?
More than likely its a hardware issue, I have never encountered such a problem and best bet is to just go get it replaced. If you have insurance on your device apple will replace it as long as there was no water damage, if you dont have insurance they will charge $200 more or less. Hope you get it fixed

I can not install the firefox for android from the android market. It is showing me that the app is incompatible with my device and no other information is provided. I am not sure whats the problem with that ! Is it incompatible with the device or the android version ?

Setup can not find a supported product
&Setup can not find a supported product3 I have an XFi XtremeGamer and I tried to update the console launcher and received the error that setup could not find a supported product. I have had this machine for 2 years on XP, and I used the autoupdate feature on the website. This feature found the device on my machine and listed a few updates including the console launcher. I would think if there was a problem, the autoupdate would issue some kind of error. I was able to update the driver on 2/7/08 without any problems using the autoupdate with the website, and I did install the wave studio suite yesterday with autoupdate without issues too. I have made no hardware changes to this machine. Device Manager lists the device as working properly. I do have sound from the card. I tried to download the launcher.exe package with the same result. It would seem that I would have had more issues if the card wasn't installed correctly including the?autoupdate feature not?working and not finding the card and other autoupdate software packages not installing correctly.
