Can PAuserid be used in PL/SQL service

Hi all,
I would like to make the 9iAS username available to a PL/SQL procedure called in a service. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Can it be passed as one of the arguements ?.

Hi....I've found the following information on online mobile studio (section building- applications) (http://studio.oraclemobile.com/studio/sites/otn/help/index.html).
I don't if this works for all the ASWE releases.

I'd like to create a function which returns multiple values that can then be used in an SQL Select statement's IN( ) clause
Currently, the select statement is like (well, this is a very simplified version):
select application, clientid
from tbl_apps, tbl_status
where tbl_apps.statusid = tbl_status.statusid
and tbl_status.approved > 0;
I'd like to pull the checking of the tbl_status into a PL/SQL function so my select would look something like :
select application, clientid
from tbl_apps
where tbl_apps.statusid in (myfunction);
So my function would be running this sql:
select statusid from tbl_status where approved > 0;
... will return values 1, 5, 15, 32 (and more)
... but I haven't been able to figure out how to return the results so they can be used in SQL.

Right click 'computer' in your PC/laptop (whichever). Click 'Manage', then 'Services and Applications', then 'Services', you should see 'Apple Mobile Device' running or stopped. If you couldn't find 'Apple Mobile Device', it means you haven't download iTunes into your PC/laptop (whichever).

Could you please help me to resolve this issue.
I have SCOM 2012 installed to monitor environment with Exchnage 2010 SP3. There are 2 sites with Exchnage servers within the organization. There are 2 mailboxes being created to test both sites.
I am getting following alert:
Alert: WebServices connectivity (Internal) transaction failure - The credentials can't be used to test Web Services.
description: The test mailbox was not initialized. Run new-TestCasConnectivityUser.ps1 to ensure that the test mailbox is created.
Detailed information:
[Microsoft.Exchange.Monitoring.CasHealthUserNotFoundException]: The user wasn't found in Active Directory. UserPrincipalName: extest*****@****.local. Additional error information: [System.Security.SecurityException]:
Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.
Diagnostic command: "Test-WebServicesConnectivity -MonitoringContext:$true -TrustAnySSLCertificate:$true -LightMode:$true"

I have tried the next steps:
1. Verified that mailbox is exist and it's not locked (same for the second mailbox)
2. Deleted those mailboxes and created a new using new-TestCasConnectivityUser.ps1 verified that this mailbox is visible on all DC's accross the forest (both mailboxes)
and that temporary password was accepted;
3. Cleared the cache on the SCOM 2012;
4. Still getting the same alert

Can CRM be used to replace SM service desk?

I have this question for a long time that is whether it is possible to use CRM functionallity monitoring CHARM related
change requests since they are CRM type tickets.
We use txn crm_dno_monitor to access change requests (CR) so far. Can we use CRM web client OR other CRM txn to do them same thing, even replace the SM service desk?

Not sure what CHARM is but that t-code CRM_DNO_MONITOR looks very much like data an agent can track in the CIC agent inbox.

Can't select the new Azure sql service tiers when creating a new database or upgrading an existing one

Hi all,
I have set up the preview for the new Azure SQL tiers on both of the subscriptions we have for Azure. The one under my MSDN subscription to and a pay as you go subscription
The pay as you go subscription works fine but when I try to upgrade an existing Azure sql database or create a new one on my MSDN subscription it doesn't give me the option of the new tiers.
Using the new portal it says I need to sign up to the preview, but I already have and when I go to try to add a new subscription to the preview for Azure SQL it says all my active subscriptions are on the preview.
Any idea what the issue could be?

Can an ESB used as Request - Response service system

We have a requirement where a ESB should reply back.
Eg: If a value of given field is
A: route message SvcA to and return it reply to invoker
B: route message SvcB to and return it reply to invoker
Both these can be achived but other requirement is
If the value is neither A nor B then
Transform request to response schema and return to the invoker.

This is exactly where you should use the esb for
route and filter the data.
so if understood you correctly, you should just add the routing rules to the routingservice, and depending on the content (so use a filter in the routing rule) you could either route and transform to either one of the svcdA/B

Message Mapping in HRAS - can it be used for ESS ?

We came across this functionality for EHP2 (after activating business function HCM_ASR_CI_1)
called "message mapping" while implementing HCM processes and forms framework. It is available under HR Administrative services -->Tools in the IMG provided the business function is activated.
As per IMG documentation for this Message Mapping node --> "The tool for mapping messages can also be used in Employee Self-Services and applications of the Enterprise Service-Oriented Architecture"
Just wanted to check if anyone tried exploring this by mapping messages for ESS services outside of HCM Processes and forms framework? or Is this tool limited only for HCM P&F.

I've seen the same thing. I suspect it "will" be possible but not fully implemented just yet. You could probably do a search on the mapping table and see if it is actully used in the newer ESS code at all. It looks like they have this in place as ESS transitions over more fully to Webdynpro ABAP and making use of the decoupled infotype framework.

In SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), you can create a calculated measure in SQL Server Data Tool (SSDT)/Boniness Integrated Development Studio (BIDS). Sometimes you may need to create calculated measure by using AMO in a C# or VB project.
In this article, I will demonstrate so how to create calculated measure using AMO in SSAS?
Prerequisites
Before create calculated measure using AMO, you need to ensure that the following components were installed in your server.
The multidimensional database AdventureWorks Multidimensional Model 2012
A SQL Server with SSIS and SSAS installed
The AMO libraries installed:
X86 Package (SQL_AS_AMO.msi)
X64 Package (SQL_AS_AMO.msi)
Solution
Here is the detail steps to create calculated measure using AMO in SSAS.
Open SSDT and create a new SSIS project.
Drag Script Task to the design surface.
Click SSIS-> Variables to open the Variables window and add two variables that used to connect to the server and database.
Create a connection to connect to SSAS server.
Rename the connection name to ssas.
Double click the Script Task to open Script Task Editor.
Add Connection and Database variables to ReadWriteVariables textbox and then click Edit Script button.
Add AMO reference in the Solution Explore window.
Copy the script below and paste it into the script.
