Can someone explain me this?

Can someone explain me why LabVIEW embeds the graphic in sheet 1 if i specify location as "prueba"? The vi is for LV 5.0.1f1 and Excel 2000, it just creates a workbook, adds some data and creates a chart. I've tried to ask a NI engineer but i receive no answer.
Thanks,
Gorka

Hi Gorka,
I am not sure if this helps but the help file for the add Sheets method says
"Add Method (Sheets Collection)

  • Updated to Yosemite recently, keep on getting efi and kernel panics. Can someone explain what this report means?

This is the crash report I just got. I am just doing random work and this happens. I would really appreciate it if someone could explain what this means. I have fixed my computer with DiskWarrior 3 times but this just keeps happening. I also have bootcamp and it's doing absolutely fine.

You have the MacBookPro6,2—the Edsel of Macs. It may have the logic-board defect that was covered by a recall program that has now ended.
Residents of the EU may be entitled to warranty service for up to six years after purchase.
Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider, to have the machine tested. The routine hardware diagnostics used by service providers do not detect the fault. There is a specific test for this issue that Apple calls "VST" (for "Video Switching Test.") Ask for it. A "Failed" result means that the fault is present.
You may be quoted a price of about $300 (in the U.S.) for a "depot repair," which involves shipping the unit to a central repair facility and takes about two weeks. For that flat fee, anything found wrong with it should be fixed, not just the logic board.
Sometimes the replacement part is also defective, so be prepared for that possibility. If you decide to pay for a new logic board, test thoroughly during the 90-day warranty period on the repair. Some owners have reported that they went through as many as three replacement boards before getting one that worked.
If you don't want to pay for the repair, you may (or may not) be able to work around the problem by disabling automatic graphics switching. To use the discrete graphics processor, you'll need a third-party utility to switch to it manually.
Often the problems start after an OS upgrade. If the upgrade was recent, and you have backups, then you can revert to a previous OS X version.

  • Can someone explain me this code?

Hi... pls explain me this code if possible.
    try {
    wdContext.nodeStateList().bind( (Z_Hress_P0006_State_Input)model.createModelObject(Z_Hress_P0006_State_Input.class));
    wdContext.currentStateListElement().setI_Withemptyline(true);
    wdContext.currentStateListElement().setI_Countrykey(
                        wdContext.currentCountryRecordsElement().getLand());
                   wdContext.currentStateListElement().modelObject().execute();

    Pankak,
wdDoInit is a method in Web Dynpro controllers that ie executed when controller code is executed first time (initialized) its never run again in the lifespan of that controller (view controller, component controller, custom controller).
You can get some more introductory material about Web Dynpro here
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/developerareas/webdynpro?rid=/webcontent/uuid/063bc942-0a01-0010-e7ae-d138e97acb5a [original link is broken]
Also I would suggest you to buy the Inside Web Dynpro book.
    http://www.sappressbooks.com/product.cfm?account=&product=H983
This book will help to make your web dynpro concepts solid. I am assuming you know java.
Regarding the point, i don't have much idea how to give the points, I assume when you close the question you can assign the points.

  • IVR NAT - can someone explain how this works?

The CLI config guide, cookbook, and other things I have found do not explain exactly what is getting translated to what with regards to IVR NAT. I setup a simple scenario, and its all working but I am trying to understand how virtual domains and NAT in general is making it all work.
I setup two switches, MDS1 and MDS2. I put VSAN 10 on MDS1 with a single HOST and VSAN 20 on MDS2 with a single DISK. I made a common transit VSAN between them, VSAN 99 via FCIP. Here is my confused take on what is happening.
HOST can only communicate with DISK if it were in its own VSAN10, which its not. So a FCID is created in VSAN10 of 0x9a6e9f so it can talk to it. This is using domain 9a, which is a virtual domain, not an actual domain so when traffic is directed to it, the MDS re-writes it to 0x736ef8 which is a virtual domain fcid, then the far side mds notices it can get to that pwwn and maps it back to the real fcid in vsan 20 of 0x0900ef. Is this even close? I just want to understand how the "routing" is really working. I understand there is a topology table built, which in this case it is:
    MDS1 10,99
    MDS2 20,99
(I am using auto topology). Below I have outputs I captured. I had to type these in by hand as there was no way to cut/paste of of the lab I was using. I appreciate any help on this, sorry for the marathon of posts here lately.
    MDS1
    HOST VSAN10
    MDS2
    DISK VSAN20
I setup an IVRZoneset so that the HOST and the DISK could see eachother. I am using CFS and IVR NAT as well.
So it works great, the HOST can see the DISK. But I am trying to find out about the translations, here are the tables:

You found the correct command to view how the FCID is rewritten as the frame is transferred from 1 VSAN to another. The re-writes for data frame headers are done by the line cards at wire rate. Some control frames that contain the FCID in the payload are routed to the supervisor so that the payload can be updated with the new FCIDs as well.

For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the name of the crashed application or process. For example, if Safari crashed, you would enter "Safari" (without the quotes.)
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
☞ Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
    Step 2
    In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ User Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of crash reports. The name of each report starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report related to the process in question. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.

  • Can someone explain what this means or what I need to do? TIA!

You've had a kernel panic. OS X- About kernel panics. You have a model that has certain problems with the discreet GPU:
The problem is likely due to the discreet GPU failing. Download gfxCardStatus 2.3 and use it to disable the GPU. This is a temporary workaround until you get your motherboard replaced.

  • Can someone explain what this is?:S

    Hey guys,
Again sorry to be so vague in the question but i have no idea what i am dealing with here.
    http://quicktake.morningstar.com/stocknet/secdocuments.aspx?symbol=ko
On this site page i wanted the data you will see underneath the data i wanted to curl and obtain through html parsing.
The data is: the effective dates  when the coca cola english annual reports were released, also the ones from 1 to 5.
However i couldnt find the dates anywhere in the html of the page. I would like to know if there is a way to get this data?:)
Thank you so much in advance and ask me if there is anything i need to clarify further:)

The problem is that the page <http://quicktake.morningstar.com/stocknet/secdocuments.aspx?symbol=ko> builds the layout by pulling in data from additional http://... pages.
That is to say, the page you see is dynamically built from dozens of other pages.  The information you want is on one (or more) of those other pages.

  • My battery is showing that is is fully charged on system profiler however under amperage it shows 0 and when i unplug it from the charger it dies. can someone explain why this is happening and what i should do to fix it?

means you need to change your battery.
your full charge capacity is down to 0.
you've exceed the cycle count by 65 cycles.
consider yourself lucky since some batteries don't last as long as yours.
take it to apple for a new battery.
    good luck.

  • Can someone explain the message about replacing songs when importing a CD?

If this is somewhere, I have not been able to find the answer. When importing a CD, sometimes I get a message that asks if I want to replace existing songs. Can someone explain what this message means? I have tried replacing the songs and not replacing the songs, but I don't see any meaningful differences.
    Thanks!

You should sort the list on the Album column, ideally as Album by Artist. Generally all you need to do after that is fill in an appropriate Album Artist. For more details see my article on Grouping Tracks Into Albums, in particular the topic One album, too many covers.

  • I cannot find a way to sort the bookmark folders themselves alphabetically by name.I am not talking about in a view mode but in the way they are displayed when I click on my bookmarks tab. Can someone explain to me how to accomplish this.

I have a lot of various book mark folders with websites contained within each folder. I am able to sort the websites within each folder alphabetically by name but I cannot find a way to sort the bookmark folders themselves alphabetically by name.I am not talking about in a view mode but in the way they are displayed when I click on my bookmarks tab. Can someone explain to me how to accomplish this other than manually dragging them as this is extremely hard for me due to the fact that I am a quadriplegic with limited hand movement dexterity

Bookmark folders that you created are in the Bookmarks Menu folder. "Sort" that folder.

  • Trying to understand RSTP - Please can someone explain this?

    Hi Group
I am still confused about how RSTP is implemented. From what i understand the major difference is that STP
used Timers for Loop prevention whereas RSTP coordinates between neighbors via messages (proposal/aggreement) to turn on links
more quickly after topology changes and is "timer free".
However, I have not noticed any difference in the configuration from the legacy STP
configurations and the RSTP configuration on cisco devices. Or are there any differences??
I have read in documentation that RSTP natively includes features like UplinkFast, BackboneFast and PortFast. So are these features now obsolete
and not needed to be configured if you are running RSTP. (Although i have seen Portfast still configured along with RSTP on many switches)
Also can someone explain the below Points from Cisco Documentation
    1) should STP be disabled on edge ports all together as suggested below?
"STP edge ports are bridge ports that do not need STP enabled, where loop protection is not needed out
of that port or an STP neighbor does not exist out of that port. For RSTP, it is important to disable STP
on edge ports, which are typically front-side Ethernet ports, using the command bridge
bridge-group-number spanning-disabled on the appropriate interface. If RSTP is not disabled on edge
ports, convergence times will be excessive for packets traversing those ports."
    2) It seems RSTP relies on duplex setting to determine inter-switch links. What is the configuration to explicitly
configure RSTP link types? (I couldnt find this in the documentation)
"RSTP can only achieve rapid transition to the forwarding state on edge ports and on point-to-point links.
The link type is automatically derived from the duplex mode of a port. A port that operates in fullduplex
is assumed to be point-to-point, while a half-duplex port is considered as a shared port by
default. This automatic link type setting can be overridden by explicit configuration. In switched
networks today, most links operate in full-duplex mode and are treated as point-to-point links by RSTP.
This makes them candidates for rapid transition to the forwarding state."
Also i am a bit rough on my RSTP knowledge even after skimming a few Cisco documents. Can someone please explain this in simple way.
    Thanks in advance

to configure it on a device:-
    spanning-tree mode rapid-pvst
PortFast/UplinkFast & BackboneFast were cisco "Enhancements" to 802.1d STP. RSTP just incorperates them. If you want to configure portfast, the command is still "spanning-tree portfast"
    OK
    1) That is your choice - I have bitter experiance of users/IT admins just plugging hubs/switches in when ever they can. Also cabling the switch back to itself creating a cabled loop. So my advice to you is to leave STP enabled on all switch ports, BUT enable BPDUGuard - this is a life saver, if you have configured portfast.
    2) duplex auto! or duplex full (overiding)
I really suggest that you read the 802.1d standard, once you understand normal spanning-tree - RSTP will come to you.

  • Can someone explain this flashmo sample?

    Hi,
I'm a newbie in flash and looking at this sample project.
    http://www.flashmo.com/preview/flashmo_169_intro
I opened it with flash cs3, and can see actionscript on the actions layer, and can see symbols in the library. However, I cannot figure out what makes the symbols swoosh in/out in sequence. The actionscript on the actions layer does not have that, or so I figured.
Can someone explain where I need to look at?
    Thanks.
    Ben

This is another good reason for never using scenes in Flash designs--they put things where they cannot be easily found.  There is no actionscript for the animations, but there is a second scene that contains all of the animation.  If you open the secnes panel you will find a second scene that includes all of what you are wondering about.
    Ooops, sorry Rob.  ....bad timing.
