Can't add formatted code to forum message

The new message editor is nice, except for the fact that it destroys formatting of code blocks! In the old editor, we could use the
tags to maintain formatting, but the new editor has no such tag. Also, the HTML tag <pre> ... </pre> is not supported.
Since a lot of messages are code-related, and users include blocks of code in questions or replies, it would be a good idea to return the notion of pre-formatted blocks of text, so that the following example is averted:

please read this post [here|Forum Upgrade - Some Details;. The old Java code filter is buggy and caused trouble due to infinite loops. Therefore we had to shut it down.
Anyway, as you can read in my first post, a new markup should be used: Just put two {code} around your code, and it will look like this:

Unless the games were pre-made to allow you to specify some variables in the page code or some external file, you won't be having any luck... you cannot add code to the games unless you have the source files, which you apparently don't have.

Can't Add instance code

I am working on a flash file AS2 that contains some combo
boxes.
When I start the program I can right click on a button and
add instance code ie current selection is the button.
After working on the file for a while I can't do this.
When I right click on new buttons and objects and select
actions the current selection shows as the frame not the
object I want to add code too.
This is very frustrating as I basically can't add instance
code.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I think the problem was the pin current script button. Some
how I clicked this and no matter what I right clicked on it would
always take be to the last script I used before I hit the button.

When you like or comment on a photo in a shared stream, a notification is sent to all the Apple devices of the photo stream’s creator and subscribers. You can delete comments you added to a photo by placing the pointer over the comment and clicking the Delete button that appears.
Usually the problem is the other way round - how to prervent spamming all subscribers to a shared stream from being alerted to each comment on a photo in the stream. Quite a few subcribers have cancelled their subscriptions to shared streams, because they have continously been sent alert messages and could not disable them. It can get rather annoying - there is no way to silently add a few comments to photos and then send only one alert.

The iPhone does not provide a setting to add a signature to SMS messages. The link the poster above provided only sets a signature for email accounts. Right now it is the same signature for all accounts, however it has been shown that iOS6 will allow for separate signatures for different accounts.

Can't add .ACSM files to ADE, message: "Error! Check activation"

I am using Adobe Digital Editions 4.0.3 with a NOOK Simple Touch, running on a 64-bit 2009 Windows 7 machine. Recently I have been unable to download my library ebooks to my Nook. The electronic library I am using (a derivative of Overdrive, I think) only allows the download of books in the .acsm format. However, recently, I am unable to open the books in ADE. Instead, the only option I have is Adobe Reader. When I select the 'Browse' option and choose ADE and hit 'OK', nothing happens and it doesn't show up as an option. When I try and manually add a file to my ADE library, I get an error message saying 'Error! Check Activation". The only thing I even got halfway working was when I downloaded ADE 1.7.2. I got the .acsm files into the library (still, I had to add them all manually through the ADE interface). However, my NOOK will not open these files, even when using ADE 1.7.2. These are the things I have tried:
-Downloading an e-book (in .acsm format) from the Digital Editions free book selections. Same issue
-downloading and redownloading Adobe Digital Editions 4.0.3 (and removing the other program)
-Downloading and redownloading Adobe Digital Editions 1.7.2 (and removing the other program)
-Deauthorizing ADE (Every time it just says "Unable to erase authorization. Please try again after some time.")
-Adding a book in ADE 1.7.2, getting ADE 4.0.3, transferring the book to the newer software, deleting 1.7.2, and syncing my nook with 4.0.3. Nook says it's not authorized
-Doing a factory reset of my NOOK
-Unblocking the .acsm files by going to Properties>General
-TRYING (and failing) to automatically associate .acsm files with Adobe Digital Editions. Like trying to open a downloaded file with ADE, I get no response when I browse and select i
(SIDE NOTE: my Adobe IDs all match. I know that is also not the issue).
I think the issue here is that something is preventing .acsm files from opening in ADE, and nothing in particular is wrong with my NOOK. My only guess (which is probably misguided) is that Windows can't process my request for ADE to be the program to open .acsm files because it's in the x86 program files folder and not the default Program files folder. I've never heard of that being a problem but I can't think of another reason.
If anyone has any ideas, please give them to me. I am actually typing all this for my grandmother, and she is going crazy without her library books.

On the deactivation issue- I just had a similar issue where I could not deactivate and had to manually deactivate by deleting the activation information from Windows registry. That might help you as well.

How can I add encoding code before column link works?

I have a question that may be silly. I want to pass multiple parameters of a row in an interactive report to another page through column link by specifing URL. It works OK. However, I found some of the parameters such as address in the report including character "#" or ".", parameters behind these characters cannot be passed by APEX. I know I need to encode it, and I know how to encode it. But I do not know where to add PL/SQL code so whenever user click the column link, the address can be encoded at first then to pass to another page?

How can I add text to a reply message on Mac

When replying to an email message via the Mail.app (on Mac), I would like my lines to have my name at the beginning of the line, and have it in a different font (similar to what Outlook does).
I was thinking of writing an AppleScript that will insert my mail, and change its font. The script will be bound to some shortcut.
1. Is there a script / option that is already doing it?
2. If not - how can I insert specific text into the current place in an existing email, preferably not by writing it somewhere else and simulating command-v?

Thanks for your reply. The line that you mention is added at the top of the message, and includes the original sender's email. I would like my name to appear, next to each line I add in the text of the original mail.
For example:
Assuming my name is Joe Smith, what I would like to have as the final reply is described below.
The lines that start with "[Joe Smith]" are my replies, to the original items in the original mail.

I can't add phising protection toolbar & get message that my version of Firefox isn't the latest, when it is.

Actually, there's another element. I get a message saying there's a update available that I should add, but when I click on that there's no update (and my preferences are set to receive updates automatically). Then I get a message about installing anti-phishing, which (it says) needs to be added to my toolbar. But when I click on that it says it can't install that because I don't have the latest version of Firefox, but I do (I just downloaded it again, just in case).

The problem is not Firefox - it's Google. They have changed the safesearch options.
The way round it is to add the word 'nude' or similar to your keywords. Then you'll get taken to an 'are you sure' type option before finally showing you your results.

its not possible to insert images in forum text, but you can attach images,docs to the forum message. To change attached files size,number of attachments and type you should have forum administrator role.
Forums come with portal are jive forums , you can check administration guides on jive forums in Google.
