Can't Click Inside Form

Hi again! I am having an issue with something I'm experimenting with. I'm looking to add a Form and Button to my site, but when adding it inside of a specific div, I can't click inside the Form field.
Test Site Below:
Rental Management Company
The highlighted area is the part I'm talking about. My theory is that I can't click inside that field because it's connected to the slider pro javascript, and anything inside the div is treated like an image or sorts. Is there any way I can get around this? Any and all help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

  • Can't click inside Footer in Pages '08

    I created a booklet in Pages '08 and even though I can see the Footer box, I can't click inside it to add page numbers.
    How can I add page numbers to my document?
    Thanks!

    How are you creating the booklet?
    Why can't you click in the footer? Could you describe what you do? Are you sure that the insertion point isn't blinking in the footer?

  • How can I click Acrobat Form button from VB (Excel Macro)?

    I may be asking in the wrong forum, but I'm at my wit's end and think just about anyone with VB experience would be able to tell me what I'm doing wrong. Is there a forum for interapplication/ VB/ forms questions?
    Suffice to say, I know very little about VB (or any of the other languages behind the software), but I've adapted code which has allowed me to get almost everything I need done, thus far.
    I'm trying, desperately, to finalize a Macro which enables me to export a lot of Excel info into individual Acrobat Forms and save them all independently. This all works fine, but there is one last thing I've not been able to accomplish: I need to remote click (or 'focus on') a button in the Acrobat form in order to select the icon button (dynamically set image relevant to each individual form, base on excel cell). The button's name, in Acrobat, is 'Photo1' and it is located on the 3rd page of the form. I've several SendKeys commands in order to save each file with a unique, row specific name.

    I'm pretty sure one of many issues is that I don't know the fully-qualified name of the field/button, or how to properly identify it in the Macro.
    I have no doubt that my approach, if it's even possible, is clumsy and unfounded, but I am (obviously) flailing around for anything that can achieve clicking this confounded button. Any help appreciated.

    It was a button option - I haven't got access to Acrobat 8 here at home, but it was something like
    Add menu item
    File - attach to email
    When the button was clicked, the email application would open with a new email and the PDF would be attached, so you could enter the recipients email address and send.

    Because I didn't create the code, rather it was dreamweaver, i believed that DW is obviously broken. Because I have a bunch of sites I made in earlier versions and when I start using a newer versions, CS5, I now can't access the editable region in any of them it seems DW is broken. So, I didn't think the code was necessary. I thought it was something that others have already experienced and resolved. However, that doesn't seem to be the case. Thanks though for helping with what appears to be broken. Hopefully it's an easy fix because there's other sites I have that this annoyance is plaguing me...

  • Can't click inside td or tr ???

    This is annoying.
    When I click inside a cell or a row on SOME tables, the entire table is selected.
    I just want to place the cursor inside the <td> so I can either enter text or insert a graphic.
    I know there are machinations I can accomplish this (command-click on the <td> then right arrow -usually works).
    Is there some setting or something I can do to make my <td>s more accessable?
    PS
    I can't figure out how to get email notifications when someone responds to just THIS question.
    I tried getting email copies of all posts on this forum and there are just too many to manage.
    Thank you,
    dan h.

    O.k. if I understand correctly you are not able to click inside of a table cell or row.
    Try selcting inside the tags in code view.
    1. open doc
    2. selct split screen mode to view both
    3. select table
    4. go to selection in code view and click inside the correct td or tr
    This should work.
    I have CS4 also and I only had this problem with previous versions, but you might want to try going into Expanded Tables mode. And maybe try to get away from tables all together, tables are substandard these days.

    Once the user has entered the URL they want to add to the form. You can use the loadXML function to implement some special text in a label...
    var linkValue = "<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\"?><exData contentType=\"text/html\" xmlns=\"http://www.xfa.org/schema/xfa-template/2.8/\"><body xmlns=\"http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml\" xmlns:xfa=\"http://www.xfa.org/schema/xfa-data/1.0/\" xfa:APIVersion=\"Acroform:2.7.0.0\" xfa:spec=\"2.1\"><p style=\"font-weight:bold;text-decoration:none;letter-spacing:0in\">The new link the user have entered is:<a href=\"" + textfield.rawValue + "\">textfield.rawValue</a></p></body></exData>";
      this.resolveNode("lblURL").value.exData.loadXML(linkValue, 1, 1);

    That is not a workflow that is supported by the Adobe forms solutions at this time.

  • Data is not being displayed into DataGridview until Clicked inside the cells

    Hi,
    On a windows form, I have a DataGridView, its columns are auto-generated every time. Data is loaded after the user click a data-load button. However this is NOT working well, the data is not displayed until manually clicked inside the grid cells. The following
    is the code. Could you please help? Thanks!
     private void ButtonTestGrid_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
                for (int i = 0; i < 10; i++)
                    this.MainDataGrid.Columns.Add(TestHelper.CreateTextBoxColumn("Col" + i.ToString(), 120));
                Dictionary<string, object>[] data;
                data = TestHelper.CreateTestData();
                this.MainDataGrid.EndEdit();
                TestHelper.LoadGridData(this.MainDataGrid, data);
                this.MainDataGrid.Refresh();
     public class TestHelper
            public static DataGridViewTextBoxColumn CreateTextBoxColumn(string name, int width)
                DataGridViewTextBoxColumn column = new DataGridViewTextBoxColumn();
                column.HeaderText = name;
                column.Name = name;
                column.ReadOnly = false;
                column.Width = width;
                return column;
            public static void LoadGridData(System.Windows.Forms.DataGridView grid, Dictionary<string, object>[] data)
                int index;
                foreach (Dictionary<string, object> row in data)
                    index = grid.Rows.Add();
                    LoadRowData(grid, index, row);
            public static void LoadRowData(System.Windows.Forms.DataGridView grid, int index, Dictionary<string, object> data)
                string name;
                for (int i = 0; i < grid.Columns.Count; i++)
                    name = grid.Columns[i].Name;
                    if (data.ContainsKey(name))
                        grid.Rows[index].Cells[name].Value = data[name];
            public static Dictionary<string, object>[] CreateTestData()
                Dictionary<string, object>[] dataList = new Dictionary<string, object>[5];
                Dictionary<string, object> data;
                for (int j = 0; j < 5; j++)
                    data = new Dictionary<string, object>();
                    for (int i = 0; i < 10; i++)
                        data.Add("Col" + i.ToString(), i);
                    dataList[j] = data;
                return dataList;

    There are different ways to bind the datagridview control to it's datasource, the question is where and what is your datasource? Is it from a database or XML file, or is it built on runtime...etc?
    Based on your explanation I can understand that the Datagridview is binding correctly in the code behind since the rows of the grid are created. Because the row of the Datagridview are created only while it is binded correctly to it's datasource. The issue
    of the display seems something different and strange.
    Try also this way by using DataTable one the common ways used:
    static DataTable GetTable()
    // Here we create a DataTable with four columns.
    DataTable table = new DataTable();
    table.Columns.Add("Dosage", typeof(int));
    table.Columns.Add("Drug", typeof(string));
    table.Columns.Add("Patient", typeof(string));
    table.Columns.Add("Date", typeof(DateTime));
    // Here we add five DataRows.
    table.Rows.Add(25, "Indocin", "David", DateTime.Now);
    table.Rows.Add(50, "Enebrel", "Sam", DateTime.Now);
    table.Rows.Add(10, "Hydralazine", "Christoff", DateTime.Now);
    table.Rows.Add(21, "Combivent", "Janet", DateTime.Now);
    table.Rows.Add(100, "Dilantin", "Melanie", DateTime.Now);
    return table;
    Then to bind the above Datatable to the grid control:
    this.MainGrid.DataSource = null;//To clear before bind
    this.MainGrid.DataSource = GetTable();

  • Very Urgent! Print Report output to local printer on button click in form

    In Sales Order Form there is a print receipt button. In current situation On Clicking the 'Print Receipt Button' it submits a XML Publisher report(PDF output) to the concurrent manager. Currently to print that report i need to go view--> requests--> view output and then print. According to my new Requirement i need to print that report directly to local printer on one simple Print receipt button click in form.
    I am trying to call the printers on server using custom.pll. The report is running successfully but it is not printing output to the local printer. I need to print the report to the local printers based on responsibility. Local printers are available on apps server. Can anyone help me on this issue ASAP.
    Is it possible to print the document using custom.pll? Is there any other alternative to print the report on simple button click in form.

    else
    l_commit_result := APP_FORM.QuietCommit;
    END IF;
    I need to complete this requirement immediately. Can anyone suggest me better ways in doing this.
    Thanks,
    Srinivas

    I solved this problem myself using shell script through custom.pll. I wrote shellscript and called that shellscript through FND_REQUEST.SUBMIT_REQUEST.It printed 2 copies to local printer.

    If you search the forums for Paul's example LockAllFields. This contains a function in a script object that you can call from the click event of the checkbox.

  • How can I make my form be a certified document?

    Hi all,
    In my form, I want to export xml by using the script "Reference_Syntax.exportData( [ STRING param1 [, BOOLEAN param2 ] ])",
    for example, xfa.host.exportData("filename.xml",0).
    However, it is invalid.
    It says that "This parameter1 is only valid on certified documents where the user has sufficient
    permissions".
    But how can I make my form be a certified document, or how can I get the sufficient permissions?
    Script "xfa.host.exportData("",0)" can be valid, but what I need is specifying the location and file name so that users can export xml just by clicking the button.
    Can I achieve this function?
    Waiting for your reply, thanks a lot!
    Ellie

    Please take a look at this discussion. Also, are your end users using Adobe Reader? If so, your document must be Reader Enabled withed LiveCycle RE to use the import / export xml functionality.

  • Can't Scroll Inside Drop Down Menus

    I just got a new HP laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit), installed Firefox 11 (now updated to 12), and discovered that when using the track pad (Synaptics Touch Pad v8.1. Driver provided by Synaptics, version 15.3.29.0 dated 10/13/2011), I can not scroll inside drop down menus.
    To replicate, go to this link: http://sacramento.craigslist.org/sss/
    Click the drop down for the category to search. Use the track pad to scroll the list. Mine closes the list and returns focus to the browser instead of scrolling the list. It then scrolls the browser window instead. This works fine in IE. Things I have tried:
    Safe mode
    Unchecking smooth scrolling
    Unchecking autoscrolling
    Unchecking hardware acceleration
    And just about any of the various combinations of the above things. I also tried restarting Firefox each time I made a change. Nothing seems to solve this issue.
    Oddly enough, if there is a text window inside the page (like the on I am writing this in), I can scroll that just fine. Once I move my mouse out of the box, it scrolls the main page just fine. I don't think it's a matter of the focus following the mouse, it has something to do with scrolling drop down boxes specifically it seems.
    Also, I should note that all the pages I have problems with work fine in IE the way they SHOULD work in Firefox.

    It's Synaptics Touch Pad v8.1. It is using a driver provided by Synaptics, version 15.3.29.0 dated 10/13/2011, and is supposedly the most current version. I have tried getting newer off the HP website, letting Windows search for the most current version, and looking at the Synaptics site, but I still end up with the same version.
    I have double checked the scrolling regions to make sure I am within them as well as all the other settings regarding the touch pad. In fact, I had to enable the scrolling regions because they were disabled by default and instead used two finger scrolling. For what it's worth, two finger scrolling gives me the same result - it does not scroll the drop down menu.
    As I said, it works just fine in IE and all other programs, so I'm not sure I understand how the drivers for the touchpad could be the issue. It seems to me it's more likely that Firefox is not interpreting the "signal" from the touchpad correctly, yet IE does. Then again, I've been wrong before...
