Can't Create Bean Error

I modified the numguess example that comes with tomcat but I get a "can't create bean" error message when I call my jsp file. If anyone can see what I'm doing wrong or suggest ways to discover the problem I'd appreciate it.

Can not create directory error while creating database

i am creating database using dbca in oel but when i try to do so i get an error saying can not create directory pawii

actually oracle is installed on u01 and i am creating database in u02
but this error is not allowing me to create database but when i try to create database in uo1 the database installed successfully but this is not happening when i try to create database in another mount point u02

Can I create custom error message

I need to tell the user "NO listeners on GPIB::0:11 address, make sure instrument is connected". How do I use the Simple Error Handler to tell the user this. The error handler spits out error code 1073807265 when this does occur.

I believe Dennis' last note probably meant that he would not recommend editing the -errors.txt file to remove the code. In your case, I think the best solution is to, as you suggest, unbundle the error cluster and programmatically deal with it by launching a dialog box with your comment. You can do this using the One Button Dialog function found in the Time & Dialog pallete.

Are either of those 64 bit? If so, your problem is likely related to that.
A 64 bit Oracle client doesn't support OO4O at all, so this code will never work with that client. You need to use a 32 bit one.
If you are using a 32 bit client but on a 64 bit OS, I've found the 11.2.03 installer doesn't properly register the files. Manually registering OraOleDB11.dll may fix it, though we had to do some other registry stuff and it got very ugly. Backing up to a slightly older client should also fix the problem.

Can I create a BI Beans compliant cube using OWB?

Can I create a cube that I can browse using BI beans through OWB 9.0.4 or are there additional steps that I need to take using other tools such as Enterprise manager?
Are there any known incompatibilities between OWB 9.0.4 and BI beans 9.03.1.?
I will also pose this question in the BI Beans forum.

Cannot create CMP bean, Error: "Werent current caller"

I generated a CMP entity ejbean with JDeveloper and deployed it. I can use that bean with a client and retrieve a specific instance using the home interface's findByPrimaryKey() method.
But I can not create a new bean using the home interface's create( long newPrimKey) method. The following error occures only if the specified newPrimKey is not occupied yet. If I use an occupied key, I get an expectable "javax.ejb.DuplicateKeyException"...

The problem is that both clients and EJBs are in the same server and you are using RMIInitialContextFactory. You have to use default context and package this client in the same EAR. Please look at http://otn.oracle.com/sample_code/tech/java/oc4j/htdocs/oc4jsamplecode/oc4j-demo-ejb.html#CMP for samples. Also some EJB/client sample programs are packaged with Oc4J disand you can find at $IAS_HOME/j2ee/home/demo/cmp distribution ctory.
However the client program should work fine if your client and EJBs are running on different Oc4J containers.

Yes - I changed the password in Oracle DB admin console and jdbc.properties but I still get the same error: ORA-01017.
The only thing I can think of is that I did not run the encryption java script but to be honest I can't think what diffence this would make.
Any other suggestions guys?

Crystal Server 2013: How to troubleshoot "Can not create temp file---- Error code:-2147215357"

We have a Java7 web app, which generate PDF report by calling Crystal Server 2013 SP4.
The app is being deployed on many different servers. We sometimes got the error below when generating report:

at com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.report.application.PrintOutputController.controllerExportInternal(PrintOutputController.java:280)
at com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.report.application.PrintOutputController.export(PrintOutputController.java:152)
at com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.report.application.PrintOutputController.export(PrintOutputController.java:130)
at com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.report.application.PrintOutputController.export(PrintOutputController.java:113)
Problem is, this seems to be a pretty generic exception. It could be caused by many different reasons.
e.g. network connection problem, wrong DB login, wrong folder path, lack of folder access right, etc.
Each time we could only guess what's wrong.
We are running into it again, and this time everything seems correctly configured so far.
We wonder if there are more info we can get to troubleshoot? For example, any log file of Crystal Server we should look into? Or does Crystal Server has debug mode which prints more details to tell us what goes wrong?

How to configure tracing, and where are RAS logs? Is it configured in CMC --> Servers --> Crystal Report Services?

Pretty sure yes.

Not on App server.
For RAS, that's the problem, I am not sure where to look.......

JMStudio Error "Can not create session manager"

Hi,
I'm trying to transmit an mpg file through a simple pc to pc network, using the transmission wizard in the JMStudio, and everytime it causes a "can not create session manager" error, even when I try to transmit .mp3 file
I'm using an ip like 100.100.0.1 for the sender machine, and 100.100.0.2 for the receiver machine, and I don't know where is the problem

Um,maybe the port that you use for transmission is already occupied.
Make sure that you are not using JMStudio to transmit streams while trying to receive streams from the same port.

Increase the value in the ReportApplicationServer Services in the CMC for "Number of database records to read when previewing or refreshing a report". The value -1 is for unlimited records but not recommended for performance.

Using SDK library from C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP Business Objects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\java\lib

Hi,
We face the same problem with some BI4 reports.
The same report works well with the "Crystal Reports Viewers API", as used in Infoview, but not with the "Report Application Server (RAS) API".
This error appears after some time working on a report. If we reproduce the same report, but from zero, no problem.
