Can't display java applet in IE?

when I open the Internet Explore to display my applet,It' not display anything,only several small word in left corner:
Load:SaveCert can't be instantiated.
SaveCert is my class's name. Why?

Try running the applet using the appletviewer by typing:
appletviewer SaveCert
at the cmd prompt inside the directory where your class file is saved.
If this does not help, then u have some problem in your applet.
If it does help, then u might need to change your browser setting to view the applet in the browser.

    I Just updated to safari 5.1 via software update.  It will not display java applet window on http://www.goldprice.org/live-gold-price.html ,i can view it using firefox. I have done a Safari reset, done a new install of 5.1, ran disc utility, unblocked popo up winows and restarted machine

    1). restart system with original start up disc, holding down "c" key.
    2). using time machine restore from non "lion" operating system. this will kill p.o.s. lion.
    3). once back in non 10.7 OS be careful not to install via software updates, sarafi 5.1
    4). sarafi 5.1 like lion *****.
    5). if you have sarafi 5.1, degrade by typing in this: support.apple.com/kb/dl1939
         a). a very large software update that degraded my sarafi 5.1 back to sarafi 5.05
    6). streetsmart.com and java worked fine for me after this fix.

  • Displaying java applet using webseal authentication

    Hi all,
    i'm facing a problem about displaying Java applet using Webseal junction for accessing  an application Server based on Websphere.
    I've defined a webseal ACL on accessing a http url that contains link to Java applet: after webseal authentication, the homepage is loaded; in the home page are presented links to java applet, but when I try to load these applets, it seems not working.
    If I load the same applets without Webseal authentication, it seems working.
    Is there any sort of configuration to make for applet regarding Webseal?
    Thanks in advance

  • Can't load Java applets in Safari

    Ever since I installed Snow Leopard, Safari can't load Java applets. I get a blue Lego brick with a question mark, and a message telling me that Java was not found.
    Firefox is unaffected, and I get the same error whether Safari is open in 32-bit or 64-bit mode. Programs written in Java, such as Vuze, are unaffected.

    Create another admin user account log into it, and see if the problem persists. If not, the issue's within the original account, usually amongst preference (plist) files. If so, then it's system-wide and reinstalling the 10.6.2 COMBO update, repairing permissions, and restarting should do the trick.

  • How can I enable java applet plug-in and Web Start applications via terminal?

    Since the last Java update to Snow Leopard, I have found that the system periodically disables the Java applet plug-in after a period of disuse.  I know I can go to /Applications/Utilities/Java Preferences and just click to re-enable Java.  But I want to write a script which will do this periodically for a couple hundred Mac users where I work.
    My question is - how can I reenable the Java applet plug-in and web start applications via Terminal command?  Is this possible?  Is there a plist file that can be modified, etc.?
    Bob Reed

    It is my understanding that Apple's most recent Java update automatically disables Java after a certain period of time that it hasn't been used.  We don't want users to have to keep re-enabling it.  So we wanted to find a way to do this via script either run by a Casper JSS server or stored locally on each workstation.   With the guidance provided by Mark Jalbert above and some text from a script written by Rich Trouton, I was able to make a script (with some minor changes) and a launch agent to re-run the script upon login.  So the preference is always enabled.
    For your reference, the script content is:
    #!/bin/sh
    # DYNAMICALLY SET THE UUID FOR THE BYHOST FILE NAMING
    if [[ `ioreg -rd1 -c IOPlatformExpertDevice | grep -i "UUID" | cut -c27-50` == "00000000-0000-1000-8000-" ]]; then
    MAC_UUID=`ioreg -rd1 -c IOPlatformExpertDevice | grep -i "UUID" | cut -c51-62 | awk {'print tolower()'}`
    elif [[ `ioreg -rd1 -c IOPlatformExpertDevice | grep -i "UUID" | cut -c27-50` != "00000000-0000-1000-8000-" ]]; then
    MAC_UUID=`ioreg -rd1 -c IOPlatformExpertDevice | grep -i "UUID" | cut -c27-62`

  • Display Java Applet without autodownload..?

    I bought book Java 5. There is note about java applet autodownload for diplaying applets for other computers without Java. But link for version 4 isnt working. Exist another link for applet autodownload for windows xp or is there another option to solve that?
    Thx for answer.

    You can go to this page http://java.com which will download and install the software necessary to run prewritten applets. This does not install the software needed to create and compile Java code. To do that, goto http://java.sun.com and select from the downlaod links at the right side of the page.

  • Can't load java applet? help please?

    I am trying to load a java applet after an upgrade - but security settings are blocking it - please help

    Java is no longer supported on Mac OS X 10.6.    The security of Java has been found to be so bad, you are lucky to get any Apps that work wtih it.    You need a minimum of Mac OS X 10.7.3 to run the latest Java applets and that using Java from http://www.java.com/  See the user tip here to optimize Java under 10.6.8

  • Can't Get Java Applets

    When I log-on to my favorite website, I get only a map but no moving details. I was told that I need to get Java Applets. When I use, Windows, I have no problems. Any advice?

    Hi: I was using an Apple iMac, Model iMac 6.1, version Mac OSX, Version 10.4.7 w/ 2.16 Ghz. The site that I cannot get correctly is: www4.passur.com/jfk.html. When I access it using Windows 98, I have no problems. Using the Mac system gives me problems. The site appears but the time is frozen and the aircraft that are supposed to be shown arriving and taking-off are not shown. I tried removing the pop-up blocker but to no avail. What is the problem? Now, I'm back on Windows 98 and have no problems. This is why all my friends have Windows. We feel that Windows is much more user-friendly in many ways. Do you prefer Mac?

  • I can not get Java applets to run on my MAC

    I am running OSX 10.9.1, Safari Mountain Lion 7.0.1 and have Java 7u51 and can not figure out how to get applets to run.  I am taking classes for work and they all use applets.  Any ideas how to enable applets?  Blogs have recommended using java preferences but I can't find that on my computer.

    Rivasrraa,
    since you’ve installed Java 7u51, you should have a Java pane in System Preferences. When you select it, a Java Control Panel window will appear. In the Security tab of that window, you might need to set your security level down to Medium and/or add the applet site to the Exception Site List to be able to run your applets.

    This line:

    is odd - what are the question marks doing there? They should be naming the user's directory. Have you used non-ASCII characters for the directory name?
    If so, you might want to try installing under a different user.
