Can't edit certain column [MySQL/phpMyAdmin]
Hi there,
I got a little problem with my new website. The thing is that I got web page that edits entries in my phpmyAdmin database.
This works with the only exeption that I can not edit the column "uhrzeit", everything else works like a charm. ;-)
here is the php-code of that site: (I highlighted where ever the "uhrzeit" column appears)

Thank you very much for your help!
I barely understand ur script because it's not fully in English but I guess I could say u are trying to update the ortner_terminate table right?I think for the date u should change like below.
$date = date("Y-m-d", strtotime($_POST['datum']));
if ((isset($_POST["MM_update"])) && ($_POST["MM_update"] == "form1")) {
$updateSQL = sprintf("UPDATE ortner_termine SET datum='$date', was=%s, beschreibung=%s, wo=%s, Uhrzeit=%s WHERE id=%s",
GetSQLValueString($_POST['was'], "text"),
GetSQLValueString($_POST['beschreibung'], "text"),
GetSQLValueString($_POST['wo'], "text"),
GetSQLValueString($_POST['uhrzeit'], "text"),
GetSQLValueString($_POST['id'], "int"));
mysql_select_db($database_Ortner_db, $Ortner_db);
$Result1 = mysql_query($updateSQL, $Ortner_db) or die(mysql_error());
Well, I could say u are trying to display the data on form once u clicked the option from list menu. U have to change the termin_edit recordset by filter it as below.
Not using the URL parameter since u are trying to view the data on the same page.

How can I restrict certain columns in SharePoint?
I have created a SharePoint list. Is there any way to create a column where only specified users can edit it?
Hello,
What version of sharepoint you are using?
As scott said no OOTB solution but you can either write code or buy third party tool. I know about "ListFieldIterator" which can iterate all fields in list and allow us to provide security at column level. Here is some ref link for you:

Hope it could help

Can't edit certain photos in iPhoto'11
I am running iPhoto'11 under OSX10.7.2 and seem to have run into trouble with a lost connection between some of my thumbnails and their respective preview files. Trying to open the photos to edit them brings up the dreaded triangle with an exclamation mark in it.
I have also noticed that these same photos synced to my iPhone 4S, have their correct thumbnails but open up photos from completely different albums that I haven't synced (no exclamation marks this time)!
I have followed the instructions noted in this forum to rebuild my library - which didn't help. I've also noted the suggestion to rebuild the library using iPhoto Library Manager but would prefer to sort out the problem within iPhoto without having to resort to a 3rd party solution if possible, so that I can leave the photo file structure as is.
Has anyone got any thoughts as to how to fix these problems?
Thanks.If rebuilding the Library with iPhoto's own tools didn't work then your choices are limited:
Restore from your working back up
Rebuild with iPhoto Library Manager
That's it. -
Help! Can't edit certain areas of a document.
Hi! I am new to using Indesign. In making name tags for a class reunion and someone gave me files that I can edit and save. The problem is I can only seem to edit areas that have a solid blue line around them. Some areas have a dotted line around them which I am unable to edit. I'm sure it's something easy, but this is the first time I've ever used Indesign so I'm kind of learning as I go :-)
You have a moderately complex InDesign file; InDesign is a complex piece of software and you lack some basic principles; I see more problems ahead.
It appears that all the names are highlighted in pink. This denotes that your system does not have the font used for these names.
Look at the Paragraph Styles panel (Window > Styles > Paragraph Styles or F11)
Are there any styles listed other than Basic Paragraph? -
Named iterator can not accept certain column names
i have a table named S as
table S
s# varchar2(50;
sname varchar2(20);
now when i try to retrieve the values of this table through named iterator i must supply the same name as java variables in the iterator.
but column "s#" has # character and java does not support this character for a variable name . how shall i achieve this in a named iterator .
this is giving me translation error
#sql iterator IterS (String s#, String sname );Fahad,
I assume the code you have posted is SQLJ. While I don't use SQLJ -- and hence, don't know what a "named iterator" is, is it possible to use a column alias for the "s#" column? Perhaps the following query:
select s# as ss, sname from sOther obvious suggestions are:
1. change the column name
2. use JDBC (instead of SQLJ)
Good Luck,

Create PDFs that can be edited in Acrobat Reader?
All,
Is it possible to create a PDF (designed in Indesign CC 2014/Mac, and exported as PDF in Acrobat Professional XI) that is then a) editable in Adobe Acrobat Reader XI (11.0.09) and b) is of the quality and has fonts embedded to act as a print quality PDF?
We seemed to have achieved this last year in a somewhat cumbersome manner but now on repeating the same process (Comments) Adobe prompts you to upgrade to Professional. Have features been disabled? Is there a way of doing this still? An efficient way?
We are trying to create a series of advertisement templates that the client can just edit certain text in.
Adobe, if you are listening... in the absence of not being able to email you directly, please help us out!1. My mistake, for clarity the Client needs to edit the text in Adobe Reader XI (11.0.09).
2. I know that, but Client is insisting and I am looking for a definitive answer to end the matter
3. Yes I know, however we have advert templates that may contain a headline such as 'Property For Sale in <xxx> Area' and body copy that says: 'Thinking of selling your <xxx> Area property? Then contact your <xxxxx> branch...' (with <xxx> indicating areas the client needs to input text into a print-ready PDF in the correct embedded font, styled as per the brand guidelines (font size, font, font colour, justification) in Acrobat Reader XI (11.0.09).
4. That's what I thought, RE typographic control. To be clear by using the forms method it is not possible to style type? Nor is it suitable for high quality printing output?
5. This is an interesting point as yes our Client would need to save the files they've edited in Reader, so what issues would be faced?
6. We tried making the text editable whilst retaining the typographic style via Comments, but it involved exporting and drawing individual text boxes in a manual way.
I have suggested the Client upgrades to Acrobat Professional, besides that what would you suggest?
Much appreciate your support, -

Web dynpro screen with multiple rows with columns that can be edited
Web dynpro screen with multiple rows with columns that can be edited individually:
Hi
I am busy creating a screen in web dynpro for ABAP which we would like to make available via Portal ESS (Portal 7).
I need to add 'n type of table (or almost something like Excel) or something in which someone can type a few paycode numbers (there should be lets say 10 blank rows in which info can be typed in and if I click on a button or so, more rows must be added if necessary. Then in the other colums stuff like amounts must be entered which one should also be able to edit then and there.
Can anyone assist in what I can use for this? There does not seem to be some existing element that I can use.
Help will be appreciated.
Regards
DebbieHi Debbie,
Whiel Creating table you need to be care full that use chose INPUT FIELD as the CELL EDITOR. Just guessing that if ur table is not editable u might have choosen TextView as default cell editor type.
check link for details on TABLE UI
[http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/EN/b5/ac884118aa1709e10000000a155106/frameset.htm]
easy way is to first add UI ELEMENT TABLE to your VIEW, then right click over it & select create binding from context. After you have a pop up where you can select what columns you want what should be its cell editor etc.

How can I edit the SamAccountName column from the list or be able to edit it?
Hello,
In my view for a SharePoint list, I see three columns for SamAccountName. This list is for listing staff as a directory, so there are phone numbers, names, emails addresses, division, department and such. The SamAccountName
column for some people has incorrect username or is blank. When I edit a record in the list, the SamAccountName column is not available to edit.
How can I edit the SamAccountName column from the list or be able to edit it?
I do have user profiles working and importing profiles from AD, but the list still shows empty or incorrect SamAccountName for some records.
PaulIf the user does not remember the encryption password there is no way to use the backup.
The password cannot be removed or reset.

Shading certain columns depending on start day of week.
Good Afternoon,
I have reason to edit the calendar wizard to make it completely automated. And before anyone says that this isn't used anymore, we've received 2 separate calendar files over the last made from our Finance departments, each making them with Word calendar
wizard highlighting year end dates. So believe me, the calendar wizard is still very much in use!
Last September, I finally figured out how to automate the first day of the week, though. I have 2 templates now, one for Monday as first day and one for Sunday being the first day of the week.
The only thing missing is to automate the shading so that the columns for Saturday and Sunday are shaded with light grey, and since it's automation we're talking about, only those cells in the columns with a number in them.
I know it's do-able, I'm just not a vb expert, only being able to handle editing simple macros.
But I understand that since I had some help with the macros and they might have changed from the original to some degree, that I should post the code. Is this correct? I hope that it is.

The above is from the module labelled "Calendar". I don't believe anything was altered in the module labelled "Common", but please let me know that I should post it.
To recap, in this wizard file, the first day of the week is set for Monday. So the Saturday and Sunday columns always fall as the last 2 columns in the calendar table (Sunday as first day has the 1st and last column as the ones that would need shading).
How can that syntax be added to shade the last 2 columns in the Monday calendar wizard, and the 1st and last column for the Sunday calendar wizard and hopefully shading just those particular cells in either with numbers in them?
Thank you! Very much appreciated.Thanks, Doug! Works beautifully. I tried them again this morning, really incredible!
I'm going to keep the Monday and Sunday wizard files as separate files because I realized that I don't have the skills (or the time) to try to figure out how to modify it so the user is requested the starting day. It'll be beyond my meager skills,
I'm sure, especially since there are all those dialogue boxes to contend with at the wizard's start. I was forgetting about those. So leaving these as 2 separate files where one chooses the starting day as per the title, the Monday one for Monday
and the other, the Sunday one, for a Sunday start day.
However, the only difference between them at this point is that one has a "0" for Sunday and the other a "1" for Monday, at the appropriate spots in the code. being the starting week day and the other a "1" for Monday.
That's it. They're beautifully the same in the rest of the code. And a further benefit is that only one module was touched at all for all of this, the Calendar module (leaving the one labelled "Common" untouched.
So anyone with a calendar wizard file can just change the piece of code below (begging the group's indulgence, if I may, in posting the modified code (??):

What exactly are you talking about?
Is it a report, If then which report Interactive or Classic?
In either of them you can do conditional display of column using the same login
Look at this for options http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23903_01/doc/doc.41/e21674/bldapp_rpt_att.htm#BCEBDIFA -
I can't copy certain songs from my iTunes library to my iPhone despite repeated attempts
I can't copy certain songs from my iTunes library to my iPhone despite repeated attempts. These are songs I copied way back when from CDs onto my computer. I can play them on my computer just fine in iTunes too. Status bar says "Updating files" and "Preparing to Copy" but nothing actually copies to my phone. My phone shows the songs greyed out and circles to the left of the song in the Store column and the songs never get copied onto my phone.
My guess is that there is something I am missing or something I am doing wrong.
Any advice/help is appreciated.
Thanks.
