Can't extract Elements 9
I downloaded Elements 9 trial, off the Adobe web site but it wont extract. OS is Win 8.1

I'll re-iterate what I said on the forum
I am trying to process RAW photographs on Adobe Elements 9 (not Premier) which I received from Leica, Germany as part of a camera purchase.
I download the program with no problems but it will not start, I get a "runtime error" message.
I can start the program by right clicking the icon and using the "run as" option but this only leads to the introduction page. The moment I try to get into using it I get a message about licensing, re-installing and "Error:213:11", then it freezes!
Its driving me crazy!

As I gave my code example in my first post, I parse the XML document and I checked each node whether it is CDATA Node or Document Node, Element Node, and so on.. I used CASE statement.
If it is CDATA node, I compare Node value and the string I want to search.
At that time, I faced the problem that you solved already, I didn't know how to compare in attribute node.
With your suggestion, I can compare now.
But the problem now is that... when I extract element by tag name, it cannot test node by node.
So, how can I combine these two code?
Actually, what I am going to do is that if node is not match (in anywhere) with the string what I want to search starting from parent node to all child nodes, I want to delete that node starting from parent node and it's childs. And I want to create a new XML document by deleating unmatched nodes.
For example, in the following XML, I would like to delete the second <CONCEPT> node while I search for "Acti" string. There is no "Acti" in the second.

Can not extract data into BW from SQL SERVER
Dear All,
I meet a problem to extract data from database(MS SQL Server 2000(sp3)) into BW now and can not extract data into BW ODS, even PSA, In the monitor, display yellow light(0 from 0 record), detail message just display message "data request arranged" "confirmed with: confirmation" in requests(message) step; "missing message: request received" in extract (message) step; "no data" in processing(data packet) step and so on. but in fact, there are two records in my database test table and DB connection is OK. Even I can extract data from another test oracle database into BW ODS successfully.
Our BW system has two BW applicaton server and use oracle database. the one application server locates on IBM AIX host. the another one locates on one NT server. the application server on NT server is used for data extration from MS SQL SERVER database into BW oracle database. and MS SQL SERVER and NT platform application server locate on same one host. DBSL was installed on the NT application server already. and DB connector also was created successfully for MS SQL SERVER and datasource also was generated. DBSL type is Kernel640-WIN-IA32bit-unicode. my BW system is ECC5.0/UNICODE/ORACLE. all table/view/field name of MS SQL server is upcase and have not any specific character. for example: ZDEMO etc.

I have followed instructions as follows: In Lightroom I have installed Elements under extra plug inns. (on top of the screen reference is made to Photoshop and not Photoshop 11). Under photo, cmd-e does not work since Photoshop is colored gray. As I have Elements installed under extra plug-inns this is highlighted. BUT………..Clicking that, the picture selected does NOT appear in Elements. The screen remains being empty! How can I solve this?

Using a Sony DSC-N2 Cybershot Camera I recorded video that was saved as “MOV01606.MPG”. The video plays back with sound in Quicktime Pro and iTunes but how can I extract only the audio as an aiff file?
Use MPEG Streamclip (free) to convert your .mpg files to QuickTime formats.
QuickTime can't extract audio from muxed file formats. -

I recently purchased the Costco special edition of Elements 13. I currently have a PC laptop but am getting a Mac for Christmas. My question is can I install Elements on my computer now and then also install it on my new computer when I get it?
Thanks!As long as you bought a boxed version, yes. You can have two activated installations of PSE. For the boxed versions that can be two macs, two windows computers, or one of each, but downloads are usually limited to two computers on the same platform.

How can I extract just my documents from a time machine backup? I had to re-install Lion after the update screwed things up, the Genius Bar guy told me to re-install each App, and then transfer just my data (documents) back but didn't tell me how. I only see how you can restore the entire snapshot of what was on my MacBook that day, I don't see how to select specifics.

Install a fresh Lion OS on your Mac. After this is done, then connect your time capsule. Click on the time machine icon in the dock bar so you will enter in time machine. Select the document folder and any document or all you need. The same thing you can do with iPhoto, Emails, etc.

I purchased Photoshop Elements 12 in the box. I have Elements 8 on my computers. Should I uninstall Elements 8 or will the Elements 12 install take care of it? Also, how many computers can I install Elements 12 on?

You can use Elements 12 along with Elements 8 and they can coexist. As per the EULA you can install the Software on 2 Machine but can use on 1 Machine at a time.

there is an old website that i want to open but in the cookies.plist it does not blatantly have the site. i was just wondering if there was any possible way to retrieve that web site.
also if i downloaded a picture from the internet to one computer (which i have sold since then) and transfered it to this computer. can you extract the web site from the file some how? i do not have the original photo anymore, the reason i want to know the address is because there were other photos on the site i wanted.andrewhodel35 wrote:

No. You can check your browser history, but depending on how long ago you were there, your history may not extend that far back.

Unless the name of the file somehow contains the name of the site you downloaded it from, no on this as well.
Your best bet in both instances is to try googling with keywords and text strings you remember from those sites. -

The results is correct only if I have a mono track. Obviously when I get a stereo track the array becomes very large so here the question. How can I extract the two audio channels from a stereo track?

Maurizio Di VittoA mono audio stream is stored [sample, sample, sample, sample], so just a list of samples in an array.
A stereo sample is interleaved in the same manner, so you get [left-sample, right-sample, left-sample, right-sample]
So every nth sample is the 1st channel, every nth+1 is the 2nd channel... -
